The duck confit was very well prepared. A nice place, not too expensive and good service. Wonderful location.

I had the cannelloni and was blown away by the taste - SO yummy! The sauces used in the dish were to die for. The wine was great and the deserts were delicious. The food was presented well and the staff were very professional. Lovely little restaurant down Stephens green that is quiet and soulful. Will return for that cannelloni!

We went Friday after work with a booking and had the early bird menu. Overall meal was very nice. There was a very good choice of specials that you can incorporate onto your early bird meal for a small additional charge. I had the French Onion soup, which I loved and have not found anywhere else in Dublin that can... More

Had visited this restaurant some 13 years ago when last in Dublin and enjoyed it so decided to book it on our return as a treat for my wifes birthday. Well I,m pleased to say it was just as good this time if not better. Superb food, polite and courteous staff and a wonderful relaxing ambience. The best restaurant I... More

We were staying at the Shelbourne and didn't want to go far for dinner. La Mere Zou, a block away, was better than any place we could have worked hard to find. Cozy environment and very good and originally prepared food. A pleasant surprise.

Visited This restaurant on Saturday night as a birthday treat whilst on a weekend stay in Dublin. I had been here a couple of years ago and raved about it then, I'm glad to say it is still fantastic. Friendly energetic staff serving delish French food, good selection of fish and meat dishes with interesting blackboard specials to choose from.... More

Venue is nice, elegantly dressed tables and soft lighting. Had charcuterie plate to share which was well presented and tasty. The Mussels for main with chips was very generous and well prepared. Staff and service was excellent, well worth a try!

This is not the first time we had dinner at La mère Zou and we still look forward to a comfortable evening, friendly service, good quality and tasty food and a good selection of wines to go with it. This time we went after the theatre and though it was latish in the evening, the place was still alive, which... More

We were exhausted when we touched down in Dublin. So excited that this restaurant was around the corner from our hotel. Down the stairs you are greeted by a pleasant host. The pre theatre dinner was wonderful. Lots of entrees and appetizers to choose from. Each one was delicious. Reasonably priced, quiet, lovely. A real treat!!
