Group of three and we availed of the early bird. Food and service were excellent. Meats and fish cooked to perfection and as ordered. Just one crib - I was taken aback when I was asked by the waiter to add a tip to my credit card. We generally tip when the meal and service are good. And we would... More

In typical Dublin 2 fashion we paid well over the odds for average food (tasty but nothing spectacular) and average wine. Some extra french fries were needed to attempt to fill our little grumbling tummies. We had the nonsense of being asked to leave a half empty restaurant at 20:30 despite no indication of the sort when we took our... More

We had a meal to celebrate a wedding anniversary recently in La Mere Zou - we had asked for a nice table and we were given one by the window. We ate off the Early Bird menu and as usual the food was very tasty. The staff are very attentive and polite.I had never really noticed before how close the tables are... Located on St. Stephens Green on basement level this French restaurant is well worth a visit the atmosphere is perfect with rustic wall panels which give it a warmly feeling if you get my drift, specials are on the blackboard and in our case we started with French onion soup which was just perfect in fact the best that I... We ate here 2 years ago with another couple and we all agreed it was a fantastic meal, last year friends whom we recommended it to also had a great experience. We again visited this summer and it continues to be good as we remembered. I had the cream of asparagus soup followed by the lobster - both had delicate... More

Used up our final voucher (we bought a few) yesterday in LMZ. Definitely our favourite restaurant in Dublin. Food and service was excellent, like the wine. I had the usual steak, and the Creme Brûlée was to die for. See you again soon!

My husband and I love this restaurant and have eaten there a number of times over the years and it continues to serve lovely food. The staff have always been friendly and efficient. The menu has a good selection and the quality of food and cooking is excellent. The prices are reasonable for it's location and the calibre of food.... More

Met a friend here for lunch, thoroughly enjoyable fare. I had the Niçoise salad to start followed by the salmon, both excellent. My friend had the soup of the day (asparagus) with the roasted peppers and red onion tatin, again both excellent. Along with many other similar quality restaurants in Dublin at present, LaMZ offers terrific value for a tasty... More

Cosy French restaurant with friendly staff. We had scallops for starters and dry aged rib eye steak which was melt in your mouth, the best steak I've eaten in Dublin. The potato gratin was the nicest I've ever tasted. We were too full for desserts but had French coffee laced with brandy 😃 Couldn't fault this restaurant at all, highly... More
