We had a romantic dinner there. Food was profound and deliciously amazing! We took starter, main and dessert and enjoyed in every bite. Price was reasonable considering the quality, service was friendly and accommodating, ambient is small but cosy and well decorated (flower bouquets and candles, nice little details etc). Definitely will come back!

Went on Friday evening with a friend. Had a fantastic meal - looked beautiful and tasted amazing. Had the tuna and crab starters and both settled on the monk fish and chorizo mains. Great food and lovely friendly staff. I would thoroughly recommend it.

We had a wonderful meal here on a sunny Monday evening. I was meeting friends after work and they suggested La Mere Zou. What a tasty meal we had from the early bird menu, and such good value. Staff helpful and accommodating. The location is good too. Strongly recommended.

A typical french restaurant, La Mere Zou is a regular haunt of ours when in Dublin. From a romantic dinner for 2, a family event or bringing business guests, La Mere Zou caters for each occasion for us and is great value. Food such as rillettes and fresh sardines on sourdough bread, wild boar, rabbit, confit of duck, creme brulee... More

Excellent food and great value. We took the early bird and it was very tasty... The wild boar was fantastic and stater was axing but the dessert slightly let it down. But overall I great value menu with lovely service in a quaint cellar setting

For a genuine taste of good French cooking in the heart of Dublin, Le Mere Zou on St. Stephens Green is a 'must' visit. The ambience, service and the food are excellent and the wine list is not bad either!

Have been walking by this place for years but never have gone in. Tonight we did. We had wine on the tiny patio and enjoyed the early evening. Then we ordered our food. The food was fabulous! My tomato salad was sublime, and I followed it with a vegetable lasagna. I'm not a vegetarian but would be if it always... More

Went to La Mere Zou on a Friday evening and had a gorgeous meal. The haddock was perfect and the creme brulee one of the nicest I've tasted. Beautiful bordeaux and exceptionally friendly and warm staff. We will be back.

This is a fantastic bistro, wonderful lunch anytime of year, also lovely for dinner. If I could have a regular restaurant it would have to be here. Relaxed yet fancy, country food yet fine dine, French yet the best of Irish. You should book a table.
