We got an online voucher for the 3 course lunch. It was delicious. Great food, great service and really nice restaurant across the street from entrance to St Stephen Green.

I'm not sure how people rate restaurants on Trip Advisor but I can assure you as a Dublin resident this is one of the top restaurants in the whole of Dublin (and not 35th !! as the current rating suggests) .   The food is incredible , the wine outstanding and the service and atmosphere, well just brilliant. It’s typical... More

We were 10 I think - family celebration. Good food, well presented. I loved the daube of beef. Desserts disappointing - but french cheeses good. Good service

I have been here twice before and loved it but last night I was so disappointed and think that it was mainly down to the fact that the restaurant was so busy. we had to ask twice for our orders to be taken and there were substantial gaps between courses. one of my party ordered the mussels and was extremely... Booked a table here last weekend and opted for the pre-theatre menu, which represented exceptional value at 26 euros for 3 courses. The quality of the food was exquisite - I had the chicken and leek terrine for my starter and it was wonderful. Light but packed with flavour. My main was the daube of beef and this literally melted... More

Impressed to find the staff who looked after us ( a party of four) were all French. We received a warm welcome with a good table and a little bowl of green olives to nibble and a basket of good bread.. The fixed price menu was €38 for three courses with three choices for each. I would have liked some... More

We went there because i saw a review here in Trip Advisor, recommended for someone ald telling that they have a promotion at lunch. Was my opportunity to get there. They have two kinds of menus 1 with two courses and another with 3 courses. First, i opted for the onion soup, and was a really good experience, very tasty.... More

La Mere Zou is situated on Stephen's Green, and you might think the thunder of traffic and the rushing crowds would make it an interesting but noisy experience. Instead, you descend a short flight of stairs and go into a modest size space, with quick, helpful service and for around €25 per head, a delicious meal served by attentive (but... More

It is hard for me as a regular customer to imagine La Mere Zou getting any better than it already is since the restaurant has always been really very good, but yet it still manages to come up with some new and interesting concepts from time to time and the food is always superb. And the service is well matched.... More

Been here several times in the new year, lately yesterday with their fabulous lunch deal. I won't rave on about this place as I've done that already in previous reviews, suffice to say the food remains delicious, menu varied, service constantly excellent (with a favourable nod in Gosia's direction) and atmosphere all you could ask for during lunch in town...
