My first dining experience in this centrally located small restaurant which overall I enjoyed and will return To. Parking was not a problem. Verty pleasant and professional head waiter greeted me as soon as we entered, took my coat. She came across as a friendly and warm person. I noted the menu to be expensive.... chose the cold meats for... More

A small romantic style restaurant just below street level in St stephen's green. French is the main influence, and the food is really good. Service is efficient, and not "over-fast", so its an excellent location for a relaxed and long meal..but can cater too for the "pre theatre" meal. it was a really nice surprise to have food of this... Quaint restaurant downstairs which serves good food. The specials board is well recommended. Service is well meaning if a little haphazard. The waitress was nonplussed by my order of 'cauliflower cheese' as a side (was 'cauliflower and cheese' on the menu).

If you are looking for a setting for a romantic meal for two with excellent food and service, La Mere Zou is worth serious consideration. The menu offers a reasonable selection with a ‘specials’ board supplementing it nicely. The service was conscientious throughout and the portion sizes meant that two courses was plenty! Well worth a visit.

Fantastic early bird menu. Great staff and delicious food. For a little piece of Paris in Dublin this is definitely a place to check out for a lovely soirée.

I enjoyed a very nice meal in a pleasant environment. The staff were very courteous and the food was excellent. I went for the theatre menu for 25 Euro. A three course meal that had a good range of dishes to choose from. I was with a group of 8 and all enjoyed their meal.

I was invited for a family pre-theatre dinner and was really looking forward to it from the reviews and seeing the menu. I was suitably impressed as were all of us. For starters, there were a number of goat's cheese tarts, a cod beignets and a few black pudding starters - they were salivatingly good. The waiting staff were most... More

This was the second of three consecutive nights' dining courtesy of Trinity College Dublin and probably the best (the other two nights were spent at Marco Pierre White and Pichet). However, as with MPW, the choice for vegetarians was poor. For the second night running I had Roasted beetroot and Goat’s cheese only this time it came in a puff... More
