Meeting friend for dinner

This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is usually busy. The food is consistently good and the staff pleasant. I have been there many times and never had a bad meal.

Closed, sadly, after 22 years, for reasons unspecified. A long-established favourite of mine, and of my wife. A great loss for dining in Dublin. JR.

Been here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. The staff are most helpful and accomodating and the food is great. A little cellar of a place on St. Stephens Green don't miss out.

I ate here recently with some friends. My friends had the early bird but a few of us late-comers settled for just a main course. And it was divine. I had cod and it was amazing. I'm not sure if it was just on a Christmas menu, but we had a side of red cabbage and it was one of... More

La Mere Zou is a wonderful, warm and inviting restaurant hiding in plain sight amongst the noise and hustle bustle of Dublin City. The food is fantastic, the service is warm and friendly and their food options are always interesting and tasty. I seem to be pulled towards their rib eye steak as a mains most times, as it always... Party of 3 stopped in for the pre-theatre menu. Greeted warmly and our coats taken before being shown to our table. The pork belly starters where well presented and delicious. My wife's salmon was also extremely good. For mains i had the beef short rib, which was cooked perfectly and the mousseline potato where divine. The confit duck leg and... More

I dropped into this little bistro having booked for a group. The welcome was lukewarm as staff appeared busy. Seating was uncomfortable as three were squashed onto a banquette accessible on one end only. Mussels were good as was steak and duck. we opted to forego dessert as our little table nightlight had died and was not relit so we... More
