Food was lovely, service by Trish was fantastic. Then we had some elderly lady who worked there constantly annoy us blaming her staff when the only problem we had was her ignorant attitude. We complained to the manager and we were told she was an owner which she denied. She constantly came back throughout our meal arguing with us and... More

We stopped in Dalkey on way home and by chance popped in to The Queens, lovely pub / Resturant, had couple of drinks at bar, then went into Resturant, we both ordered steak on a stone, was my first experience of trying this, Wow !!! Was one of the best tasting steaks I have ever had, cooking to my taste... More

I had not been in a number of years because the choice in Dalkey is fantastic. The menu you looked great but the food was over cooked . I ordered halibut and it arrived way over done . My wife had sea trout over cooked as well. Such a shame to ruin such good fish !

We had eaten a huge afternoon tea and so wanted something light for dinner. The staff here were extremely accommodating when we explained we didn't want a huge dinner. We had soup to start which was delicious. We just ordered some sides to top up and were treated to a complimentary bowl of chips (huge) and some scrummy crispy onion... More

We had Homebaked Chicken and Leek pie with buttered baby potatoes. They were gorgeous. the Carbonara also went down a treat. We had apple tart and tea to finish off a delightful lunch. when we had explored the harbour we returned for cold cider at an outside table to finish off our tour of the town.

Fantastic lunch in the Queens sitting out the front with a great view on the world passing by! Food was so well presented and tasted delicious. You really can't beat the steak on the stone here, I find it always hits the spot! The chicken and leek pie was a great surprise too. The pastry was done to perfection and... More

Dalkey village is only a forty minute ride South on the train (DART) from Dublin city centre and the train ride passes some really picturesque coastline. Before going to the Queens for lunch we walked up Killiney Hill and this energetic walk brings you to a hilltop where you have a panoramic view of Dublin on one side and the... More

Had dinner from bar menu las night. Was very good. Very nice steak sambo served with onion rings, fries , mushrooms, onions and excellent pepper sauce on the side. Good value and friendly service Hadn't been for a while and was impressed Only gripe was that early bird stops at 7 which seems v early especially on a Monday !

A group of us tried out the Steak Room for Father's Day recently and were bowed over by the exceptional service and value for money. The food was excellent and plentiful, we will be returning.

The queens pasta was one of the best! The tomato cream sauce was favorite for my daughter and myself. The service wasn't great, the steak room was open and they were pretty busy but loved the queens pasta!
