Great place for a pint

Loved it! Live music, huge bar and really well looked after. Not as expensive as we had been led to believe either! 5.95 euros for a pint of guiness. Only critics is that there wasn't enough bar staff so wait times and queues inevitably resulted. Don't be put off though, it was worth the wait :-)

It's crowded, it has a huge collection of whiskey and the beer prices are decent. The live music at 1 in the night says all about how great the atmosphere is.

We did a pub crawl here yesterday - admittedly is was after the equality vote so everyone was celebrating! It was all a tourist would expect - fiddle music, folk singers and locals pulling you in to dance with them. The craic was awesome!!

I was not that interested in going because I felt it would be a waste of a tourist trap visit...but the people, music and sandwiches made it worth my while!

went to the Temple Bar as they had entertainment starting at 2.00 in afternoon. This turned out to be one man and his guitar, though quite good, did not play Irish music, just easy listening, not what we wanted. We ordered nachos--and I have to say a small plate arrived with a sad looking dish. The food is not cheap... More

Somewhere with live music n great beer....what more could you want. Iv been to Dublin twice and went to this bar everyday both trips and can't wait to be back there in July. Be prepared to stand if you are just drinking....it gets pretty busy, but totally worth it. The atmosphere is awesome, they have near enough constant live musicians,... More

Temple Bar District is a must do. It is full of bars, restaurants and pubs with lots of good, live music. It is loaded with a mixture of locals and tourists so there are many people to meet and mingle with. Temple Bar itself is lovely- it has a beer garden and a hype atmosphere. Its always busy. Although I... More
