We visited Dublin for a 2 night break, we used the Temple bar twice, daytime first, then late the 2nd night. Fantastic time. Live music, nice staff, good music.

I read the reviews that warned this is a "tourist bar" but don't tell that to the crowd of folks, both tourists and yes locals who gather there for a truly fun time! We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful music, great service and cold beer and everyone else there seemed to be doing the same! It is a festive atmosphere and... More

Yes, this is a, "tourist trap." However, I was a tourist and it was right down my alley! The band was great, there was a great selection of beers on tap, the bartenders were friendly, and the atmosphere was awesome! In one section, there are tables around the stage area for bands and another with a full bar with glass... More

We stopped in for beers while walking through the Temple Bar area, but when we looked at the menu we decided to eat lunch. My son and I were so delighted to see a "Vegan/Vegetarian" section on the menu. We had unique, LARGE sandwiches (mine was blue cheese and tomato) that were fantastic! All our meals included sweet bites (dessert)... More

What can I say, it's historical, fun, and a destination you have to include if you are in the area! We went early evening to avoid the craziness we heard to expect later in the evening due how busy it gets. It was still very busy when we arrived, and we were fortunate to snag a couple stools. Fun music... More

Since this whole area of the City is named after it, the original Temple Bar is a must stop destination when traveling to or through Dublin. We went on a Monday night, and the place was packed and hopping. The bar seems to go on forever, and there are actually several "bars" inside. There is a live music stage which... More

A very crowded afternoon of fun music and good food. Pub atmosphere and a good place to relax a bit from all of the touring. Smoking is allowed and some of the dining areas are open air.

We just had a couple high priced beers, but the ambience, gardens, multiple rooms, wood bar and people watching were great. Great place to stop for a drink.
