Went into this bar appropriately named temple bar. Had our first pint of Guinness. Excellent. The temple bar whiskey was very enjoyable too. Lovely friendly place with live music. Always busy too.

The Temple Bar is a fun bar in the trendy Temple Bar area of Dublin. Good music and drinks. I didnt eat here. The bar was busy and full of energy.

Very nice place to visit when staying in Dublin, it is a must for all tourists, visit the temple bar and have a Guinness. People say it is expensive but it's Dublin, it's expensive everywhere. Visited temple bar a few times on our stay, great atmosphere and nice staff, Patrick behind the bar was always very friendly and had a... More

Don’t be warned off this “Tourist trap”. It’s a tourist must, with continuous live music, a great choice of beers and excellent food. We visited twice in our three day stay and although there may be better experiences to be had this is a real buzz.

Drinks were quite pricey here but I loved the look of the pub inside and out and the drinks were yummy.

We had our lunch in Temple Bar because is "the Pub" in Dublín. We were not disappointed at all because it was full of people, but still spacious, with live and good music (really part of the flavour of the bar) and had the specials, served nicely, on time and really good. Strongly recommended.

Everyone comes here, we spent about 2 hours here (come early) and the whole time people were outside taking pictures. Made me feel great about myself. Anyway, I'm pretty sure they play live music all day, and I love them for that. They have 11 euro oyster and Guiness combo, served on ice with lemon and other good stuff. Their... More

We loved this spot! Perfect stop in the middle of our day between shopping and the old jameson distillery. Will visit again! Loved the bloody marry oyster shooter.

Don't let the reviews that state this is a tourist trap put you off, to experience real Dublin you've got to stop for a drink in here at some point! Great atmosphere with live music, yes the drinks are a tad more expensive than other bars but it's worth it just for the experience and atmosphere. Fantastic place.

Initially I thought this pub would be just another tourist trap, but it is a PROPER Irish pub - attentive and knowledgeable bartenders, awesome selection of whiskeys, one of the best pub layouts I've ever seen, really good live music. The layout of the pub affords one a variety of options, but whichever way, the atmosphere is brilliant. Get there... More
