I had a business dinner here with 7 others. Most of us had steak - it was well cooked, though the cuts were ridiculously large. I ordered the petit fillet but it was the first time I've ever left fillet steak on the plate. The side dishes were equally monstrous but delicious - the creamed spinach was particularly good. We... This is a good streakhouse as distinct from being an exceptional eatery. The building is impressive as is the decor and the atmosphere is very pleasing. We had been curious for a long time but it kept slipping off our radar until recently when friends very generously took us there as a surprise and we were thrilled and anticipated something... More

Fantastic experience, the fillet steak was perfect as our the side dishes. Worth every penny as our the wine selections, try not to order too many sides as they are a generous portion. Deserts do not tend to change much over the years but no complaints. Would be nice to see something different at the desert end. All the steak... More

If you want to experience the best steak in the world and some of the best seafood that Dublin has to offer, you have to go to Shanahan's. I have been traveling to Dublin for more than 13 years and each time, I have to pay a visit. The reception I received was warm and welcoming as always. Be sure... More

I went for dinner with friends whom paid for the meal, so I was very lucky I didn't have to pay for the meal here, prices were crazy! 8e for a bowl of mash as a side?! That's madness i don't see how prices like that can be charged for a side of potatoes! A big bag only cost about 4-5e,... More

Nice little entrance Nice historic building. Average, tho pleasant service. Food would be in any 3 star restaurant .No complaints. For this meal, we treated our Dublin friends. For the Euro paid , we could all have flown to Paris, and eaten in a better restaurant. The wine would have been better value. I don't want to be unfair to... More

This was a business dinner so I can't comment on price but everything I had was delicious. Started with a huge warm spinach salad quite tasty. Then had the 8 oz filet cooked to perfection with an assortment of sides. Finished with a huge Oreo cheesecake. Only complaint is I hate to waste food and there was no way one... More

We visited Shanahan's on the Green during our stay in Dublin in June 2014. The service, wine & food were superb. It was a little fancier than expected, but maybe because we had been visiting pubs. Prices were a little high too.
