Paris in Dublin

Just walking down the street and looked into Cafe en Seine and were intrigued by the decor. We went back for lunch and were delighted by the food as well as the amazing look of the place. It was like being in Paris, so we had salad nicoise, pommel frites and a goat cheese tart. All delicious!

Huge inside and caters for so many types and service is exemplary.Choice of drinks second to none. All drinking establishments should be like this a real empire of the senses from bar to eating areas and even the toilets are ornate and fully over the top.Every city should have a Cafe en Seine.Still does the jazz Sunday brunch sessions too.

5 of us had a meal this evening. There are two options for seating , stools and benches at high tables or low chairs around small round tables, it's not a restaurant setting and it's not a club. I'm not sure what it is. The decor is lovely, very interesting, and it's a big space. We tried sitting at both... More

Saturday 15th started off a beautiful day. Went to the Ireland v Scotland international in Landsdowne rd.... Then beautiful meal in Gotham Cafe. Then we went to cafe en seine to a leaving do and meet up with work colleagues of mine who were moving jobs. We were refused entry at 21.20pm because we were wearing Irish rugby jerseys!! Cafe en Seine is simultaneous tourism for your taste-buds as well as your eyes. Easily accessible. The interior design took a lot of thought and investment. The quality of the food matches. A great place to relax and recover after walking Grafton Street's cobbled streets.

Spectacular comfortable baroque style surroundings and attentive staff. Good menu choice and reasonable prices. There is also a comprehensive cocktail and spirits list. Live music some evenings

Food was good - the restaurant is very beautiful!!! Our server was inattentive and pretty much AWOL most of the time, but another server was very helpful and finished out our lunch service.
