It has had many famous patrons thorughout it's years including George W. Bush Junior and Senior who both drank here together and also John F. Kennedy. Wow

Visited twice during a stay in the nearby Ashling Hotel. Enjoyed a great pint of the 'Black Stuff' in the bar before venturing upstairs for dinner. Kept it all very simple - rare stake, fries, creamed spinach and bottle of red wine - wow, well worth a visit.

Have been to FXB's a few times now as I work nearby - It is a great spot for lunch and dinner.. It is quite a small restaurant but has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Great selection on the menu and even the drinks menu.

We visit Ryan's fairly regularly for drinks and recently dined upstairs for the first time. We like the pub so we were confident we would have a nice meal, but we were very surprised at just how good it was! The room itself is small but cosy and welcoming. The waiting staff were great, always present but not intrusive. Before... More

Popped in here for a fine quick Guinness while waiting for the train. Reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere and staff. Will come back to try the food...

Came for my birthday with my panther and parents. Beautiful busy little restaurant. Service was very good and food amazing although I would avoid the dessert no up to the standard of the other courses. All in all a great visit look forward to returning again

My wife and I came here on the recommendation of friends to celebrate my birthday. We had not booked a table, but at 2pm in the afternoon, that was not really a problem. I started with the fish chowder, which if I am honest, was a meal in itself! The steak was one of the best I had in a... More

Going to echo the majority of reviewers here in saying this was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. We opted for no sauces and this was a good choice as it let the real flavour stand out. Plentiful side dishes and the only criticism of the soup starter was that there was too much to finish! Excellent... More

Wow, a great place for a steak meal, we were lucky as we got the last table on Sunday night! After seeing England lose in the 6 nations, the only way of turning the night around was to have a steak, it did not disappoint! For starters we shared ribs and breads with dips, delicious, the meat fell off the... More
