Cool bar, good location, with more draft options than my liver could handle. Definitely one for the boys.

This is a microbrewery and the beer is good (I had the Dublin IPA). Food is ok - chicken wings and chips, can't go wrong. We visited at lunchtime and bar was fairly busy. Service was not great: we were clearly a nuisance to the waitress who dumped the food and legged it, so chasing around after ketchup from a... More

We did not eat here -- only stopped for a beer -- but we enjoyed our time here very much. They offer beer tastings, or flights, of three small glasses of beer, giving you the opportunity to taste a variety without getting hammered (too quickly). Great atmosphere, comfortable seating. It was a wonderful place to tuck ourselves away for an... More

We had been trying not to visit anywhere twice, but broke the rule for here. Even though it's in the Temple Bar area (fairly expensive compared to other areas) the prices here not too bad and they have a 'beer of the month' for €4 - for January the 'beer of the month' was a choice of stuff from 3... Went here for dinner around 8.20 we were told.by an enthusiastic caring waitress down stairs.that we would have to go upstairs for a table as there was none available on the first level. We went upstairs and was passed 4 times by a waitress.who ignored us point blank, so a waiter from the other floor came up to us to... More

We loved this place. We went in 2 nights in a row and on each occasion there was live music playing. As a real ale fan, the drinks here were brilliant (it's a micro-brewery chain). Highly recommend their Oyster Stout which, for me is better than Guiness.

I have been living in Dublin for 6 years so I know this place very well and I have been there very recently founding that nothing has changed. If you go to Dublin you shouldn't miss this pub. You can have their own special beers and find a finest variety of them from the rest of the world. I had... More

After reading reviews my partner and I tried the Porterhouse on a weekend get away to Dublin. The beer was excellent and the food was great! The menu is perfectly paired with the wonderful selection of beer offered. The ribs and burger were both fantastic. The atmosphere is trendy and relaxed. We definitely enjoyed our time in the Porterhouse and... More

The beer at the Porterhouse is marvellous. Not just their own, also the extensive selection of international brews. The food also is very good, and the stuff extraordinarily friendly and attentive. We'll be back!
