We stumbled upon this bar as we were wandering into the Temple Bar area and it looked rather busy so we decided to pop in for some dinner. Little did we know that the bar itself kept going up and up, with about four floors of bar. It is a really cool design and they serve their own craft brewed... More

Don't ask for a Guinness as refusal may offend -- this is a an own brewery pub! But it is Great! Attentive staff, good food, large portions and a great atmosphere. Less touristy and more trendy than other bars in Temple Bar. Try the porterhouse taster beer plate which lets you try the whole selection of their own brewed beers.

It was hard to find a place to sit, but the drinks and the food were worthy the while. No live music though.

The food is subpar. If you are looking for a nice meal I would recommend going somewhere else especially if you are in temple bar. Temple bar in general is really expensive so if you are willing to spend money on dinner there I would go some where else.

The Porterhouse is right in the centre of the action in Temple Bar. We went there as part of a group of 12 on the St Patrick's Day weekend in 2015. They have an extensive selection of their own stouts, porters, beers and lagers, all of which are absolutely FANTASTIC. There is phenomenal high percentage beer which is well worth... More
