Always my first choice if I'm in Temple Bar, and always my first recommendation to anyone heading to Temple Bar. Not as touristy as other establishments in the area, which is a good thing (no trad music!!). They serve their own from their own brewery, plus an extensice selection of craft and world beers. The food is very good (try... More

This review is only for the bar/drinks and not food. Went here on saturday afternoon for a drink, ordered our 2 drinks. Barman poured the pint, then went to get a bottled beer from the fridge and returned to say they are out of stock. Handed over the pint and didn't say another word. No offer of something similar, no... More

If you're after a great choice of beers & ales, then this is place for you. Although, I only had a gin, there was a huge selection & even the option to try smaller measures of different ales, great idea! Lovely pub, & the food being brought out looked good too. Only wish we'd had the time to eat.

What a cool place, laid out on multiple floors. Live music was great and the beer they have on tap is amazing you must try the oyster stout. Didn't get to try the food but everything looked very good

We just came back for another visit to dublin and our first port of call was the porterhouse. Great food, great stout, especially the plain! Great atmosphere and a very warm irish welcome. Only downside was they ran out of my size t-shirts oh well we'll have to come back again!

We love the Porterhouse! The atmosphere is fantastic and the beers are something else! The food is also good and decent portions for the money. Anytime we visit Dublin we pop in to the Porterhouse. Highly recommended.

We were only in town for four days, and usually my MO is to try as many different places as possible even if I have a short time. I was at this pub three nights in a row. Maybe I was just completely enthralled with the city as a whole, I don't really know, but this pub was exactly what... More

Atmosphere was SO MUCH FUN, beer is AWESOME, people are super friendly. I "stopped in" for a beer here just befor lunch the day before the PSU v. UCF football game, and had to be dragged out to go to dinner 7 hours later. This place is a ton of fun, cool atmosphere, and great beer! Beer made by men,... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch, one of the better places to have a veggie burger, the meaty burgers were also very tasty. Always fun to try new beers, and the porterhouse serves a few that they brew themselves.

The Porterhouse had floors of fun. Nice food, nice beer - micro brews and cider were the pick of the night. Great entertainment and very nice environment.
