We dropped in to this establishment and were pleasantly surprised at the bright and airy atmosphere. A great selection of food and beer to choose from and nothing to disappoint us. Food arrived promptly which was great as we were heading for a train home.

I know a urnial is not the best reason to rate a resturaunt/bar 5 stars, so I won't, but if you get there, go check it out. The food and atmoshphere were worth the 5 stars. They also claim to have the largest selection of craft beer in the country....that may be the case, since the menu was several pages... More

We stopped here for a sit down and a pint. The place has lots of little alcoves and levels and is decorated with hundreds of different beers in cabinets. The craft beer wasn't the best we tasted during our stay but it was good enough. they have live music and serve food. the menu looked OK and the food we... More

They have a lot of craft beers as well as a new local stout called the Oyster Stout. I loved it. They have 3 stories, live music at night, 5 screens, and really good food. We came here 4 times during our weekend in Dublin, mainly because the food was so damn good, but also because it was close to... More

We went here for a few drinks based on recommendations from a friend, and left after one pint!! Given that we were first in at 12 noon on a Sunday, we would have expected a warm friendly Dublin welcome, what we got was a very stern English lady who seemed to just want to serve us with minimal interaction!! The... More

The pub itself is quite large, but cozy and nicely decorated. It was also well staffed, so we never had to wait long (on a Sunday night). We had burgers and the local craft beers while listening to some live Irish music. The food was good but not amazing, the beer however was nice and the pub itself has a... More

I enjoy craft beer and for quite a while now I've wanted to travel to the Porterhouse to try some of the renowned beers available. Today I happened to be in Dublin with a friend and we had a few hours to spare, I seized this opportunity and walked the mile or so from Heuston Station to the Porterhouse. I... More

I heard about this place in a New York Times article a while back but flagged it for a future visit. I'm really happy I saved it! While this place is in the heavy tourist area of Temple Bar it's unlike the others. Even though it's modern it definitely has a great pub feel. Excellent live music! Excellent food with... More
