Visited on Friday evening for a few pints, great selection of craft beers, great crowd, very busy with a lot of tourists. Tried 3 of their own brew, all very tasty! Went back on Saturday and tried more of their own brews!! Had the smoky burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Will be back... More

Great for a few quiet drinks or even not so quiet drinks. Great staff very informative as to the beers and ales and shorts. Very well located.

There are plenty of craft beers in Ireland, you just can't seem to get them in most pubs. The Porterhouse brews its own and has a wide variety of other beers as well. They also offer flights. Music most nights. Food was fair but the beer was awesome.

My husband and I stopped by on a busy Saturday evening. We snagged a spot at the bar and ordered house beers and burgers. Bartender was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Very good live music, we could hear even over the TVs and full crowd but not deafening. Would go again.

Unfortunately did not serve a pint of the famous black stuff but had a pint of black porter(not the same though). Food menu looked good.

We (2) stopped in for a light dinner on Tuesday 12th May. We were seated for over 15 mins before anyone approached us to ask if we wanted to eat or drink anything. Our orders arrived about 10 mins later; I had Oriental Chicken (wasn't nice, tasted like something from a jar off the supermarket shelf), he had a Cajun... More

Met friends who were also travelling for a drink and some dinner. Had fish and chips with peas, my husband had bangers and mash. Lots of choices for beer, even a 3 pack of small glasses for other options. There is no Guinness here, so a craft stout will be your option. Noisy, but fine with a big group.

We enjoyed a range of local and world ales at Porterhouse. It was St Patricks night in Dublin and although busy it was a quieter crowd then in the other pubs. Bar staff were working hard, took a bit if time to get drinks but no surprise given it was St Pats. EURO5 a pint for local stouts and ales.... More
