We decided to visit the Porterhouse after the Guinness Storehouse for our tea. A big part of the allure was the beer selection but we knew they did food as well so we chose here. Inside was nice and spacious and we got a table to ourselves quickly. I decided to have the Oyster Stout to drink and the Irish... More

This place, as well as the Porterhouse Central, had a terrific selection of their own craft beers, extensive whiskeys & spirits, & great food options. (Way more than fish & chips) After a few days of more traditional pubs, this was a welcome change. They had live music several nights a week, and multiple levels & "snugs" to sit in.... More

Went in here for evening food. Place was packed with Christmas parties but got a table easy enough. Tried home beers which were ok. Had fabulous food here which was served by very friendly staff and very fast. Really enjoyed it and will be back. Lovely decor and pub too.

I called in here twice in the past week, once for their burgers and once for their turkey dinner which they're running this month for Christmas. The burgers are always good - great value, lots of toppings and good portion of chips with them. The turkey dinner was absolutely delicious - highly recommended, with loads of veg and massive roast... More

I visited this place late on a Friday evening after 12 pubs of Christmas, it was relatively less packed than all other places and was a great getaway with good beer, great music and a lively interior.

Like most places in Temple Bar the food is quite expensive. Came here many times during 2013 for the live music though! Also brought my mum and sis here when they visited me from the US, so the atmosphere is great, just don't recommend the food. Average tasting compared to the price.
