Myself and my good lady went recently and while the venue is pleasant if a bit dated. We were unhappy with the level of poor service ,we had to ask for refills for our water on three occasions unusual in this day and age.The menu was good but not great and a little pricey for what was on offer. We had... More

We two have enjoyed a great - business - diner. Rather informal but smart casual atmosphere. The restaurant is in a former vault of a bank, so different rooms with style. The menu great for meat and Fish lovers, some great irish dishes as well. As Starters we had Brie and Fois Gras, as main we choose Monk Fish and... More

I have eaten here a few times before and the last time I was very disappointed with the meal as well as the general hurly-burly in the bar area which spilled over in to the dining area. On this occasion I was visiting Dublin on a bank holiday evening prior to business the following day and this was one of... More

Sometimes the best places are just a little hidden. This one is around the corner from a large pedestrian street, across the road from a large park and down a flight from sidewalk level. However I think it is well worth searching for. We ate on the small patio by the front door and given all the activity in the... More

So I saw the mixed reviews at the time but still decided to give it a go. I ordered the days specials which were a white bean soup for starters and Monkfish for main. I ordered a simple white wine to go with both. I sent the white wine back because it tasted like it had been open for days,... More

Table of 7. Starters were superb, but the turbot was the best. Everything is fresh and tasty. The service is outstanding and the menu options are large. Really one of the best in Dublin.

A very responsive and respectable restaurant with attentive, knowledgable staff. The food was excellent though the wine list was a little expensive, overly so. A meal for 3, not excessive was 220euros. Even a little expensive for a 'school' night!!! However the food was good, so treat yourself!

We had a great business dinner and, I would recommend this place for similar events. Nice atmosphere, fantastic service, very good food and selective menú. A little bit pricey!
