i stumbled across this one Christmas, and the decorations were wonderful - food great, service good too. Soup is wonderful and not expensive. everything else is pricy but worth it. marvelous location across from St Stephen's Green. i go here whenever i want to celebrate.

I had dinner at Peploes with a customer on a Tuesday evening, the restaurant was busy and had a good feel to it, food was good and the services was quick. I'd go back to Peploes and I can't find fault with it. :-)

Peploe's is a very stylish little restaurant in the basement of a Georgian house on St Stephen's Green. It features a wine bar for pre-lunch / dinner drinks and an outside seating area primarily for smokers. It has a lively ambiance, but can get a bit noisy for business discussions. The food is very good - I had the crab... More

Had lunch here for the first time yesterday while on a visit to Dublin. It was recommended by a friend of mine. Food and service were both very good, nice amount of time between courses which adds to the enjoyment, overall well worth a visit and I will definitely return again.

We had a walk in Saturday lunch and there was just one occupied table at the front of the restaurant when we arrived. We were seated along the long banquette just at a table where the banquette seat adjacent to where my partner sat was cut open. With the whole back restaurant empty it was careless of the waitress to... More

What a lovely venue ! We just had a wonderful dinner there for our wedding anniversary. Great food, perfect service and really nice atmosphere. I am coeliac and the staff were so helpful with the menu choices and possible adaptations if necessary. All our selections were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended :)

We ordered off the 3 course 'Pre-theater' menu for €26.50 pp. I had gnocchetti with gambas and chorizo, followed by rump steak with caramelised onions and skinny fries. I finished with a rhubarb and strawberry crumble. The food was excellent. I couldn't fault anything and won't hesitate to go back.

Who said you cannot find proper food in Ireland? Everything was really perfect, from the location, to the service and food. We enjoyed an exquisite evening. The value for money was also great. A place not to be missed!

We called in there on a busy Saturday night without a reservation as we hadn't planned on eating in Peploes at all and we're just out for a quick bite but having looked in and it was so busy and classy looking we just had to try it.. The staff were very professional from the door man to the front... More
