Description: Just off of St Stephen's Green One Pico is one of Dublin's hottest dining destinations. But with acclaimed chef Eammon O'Reilly at the helm and a number of accolades including; "2010 Dublin Chef of The Year" by The Irish Restaurant Awards, but most importantly (in our opinion) a Toptable Gold award. One Pico isn't all about fashion and being seen in the latest hot spot. Exceptionally good service is the ideal accompaniment to stunning modern classic food all beautifully prepared on the premises and a simple, sophisticated décor where intimacy is guaranteed. A monthly changing menu ensures you'll never grow bored of One Pico's impressive seasonal cooking with its homely Irish twist.

I brought ten business clients for an afternoon lunch mid December. Overall I was very disappointed with the lunch. The standard of the food was good or very good depending on the dish, but there were some down points, which having regard to the overall cost €800+, is unacceptable. The issues I experienced are:- (1) A delay of approximately 50... More

From arrival to departure I could not fault the fantastic welcome, service, food or ambiance of One Pico. My mother, sister and myself dined here on an Early Bird menu on a Saturday evening in mid December and it was fantastic value for the quality of precision cooking, superb attention to service by a well trained team and wonderfully warm... Visited last Saturday. Meal for two. Staff are very friendly and professional and there are lots of them for the size of the restaurant. Prices are at the top end if the market. Ordered two wines to match starters and main course, neither was available. Langoustine risotto lacked flavour and the velouté was very one dimensional for the price. The... More

Dined there with friends and to be honest (as I always am), it was just "average"... Took ages to get drinks when we arrived as had to wait over half-hour after our booking time to get our table (appreciate they can't throw people off tables... unless they arrived late ?)... Without getting into each dish individually, none were 'amazeballs' for... More

Most overrated and overpriced restaurant I have been to in forty years of dining out. This was our second visit and was gratis as the first visit was worse. My daughter paid for the first for a anniversary present and when we told her how unhappy we were she complained and after the third 'phone complaint they eventually responded when... More

Had an excellent meal here recently. Impressively smooth service combined with beautifully prepared, tasty dishes (including a couple of fine amuse bouches) made for a most enjoyable evening. Highly recommended.

Had Sunday lunch here and the whole meal was faultless. Both had risotto to start which was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The main courses were equally excellent and the wine which was recommended to me to go with the beef was a fantastic match. To top it off a soufflé for desert was as good as I have ever... More
