Emilio is the owner here and he superbly manages a Supreme Itailan in the city centre right on the big George's street Junction. No pizza here just classic Italian

Came for a lunch when we were all dressed up for a wedding later in the day, our attire was well suited to the atmosphere. All waiters seemed to be Italian, speaking Italian to some "regulars" there, a good sign. Nice wine selection. Veal and spaghetti was excellent. We travel regularly to Italy (for the food!) and were not disappointed.... More

9 of us descended on Nicos to celebrate a 30th birthday on a Friday night. Made feel very welcome on arrival. Food was superb with everyone eating something different. Two of us had spaghetti carbonara which was as good as it could be! A bottle of pepoli went down very well. Great atmosphere with piano tinkling away in the background.

Unusual in that there is no view out and window but still comfortable surroundings. €75 for lunch for two with a bottle of wine and coffees. Both had the spaghetti and veal parma. Quiet good. The menu is very traditional and a little limited but the quality is there must go back for dinner.

Our last dinner of our week long trip in Ireland was at Nico's. We literally stepped out of the insanity of the Temple Bar/Downtown area into this quiet oasis of elegance and culinary delight. It was like we were transported into Rome. The service was Italian all the way and the food was second to none. The perfect ending of... More

I last ate here about four years ago and very much enjoyed the experience. Every time that I've passed it since, it has appeared closed. I was entertaining friends and had tried to drop in on an Italian restaurant close by. It was closed for refurbishment and as I passed Nico's, I noticed that the menu was 'lit up'. To... More

Nico's is a blast from the past. You can eat here imagining you're in the 50's with the decor and a pianist playing to one side of the room. I came here with a friend and we found the menu to be simple and straightforward. None of these ridiculous dishes that have pushed their way onto menus, just real dishes... More
