A recent trip to Nico's has become the first of more visits. Nico's is a real gem in the city. It is a small, intimate restaurant, with an emphasis on friendliness, quality and having a great time. The menu was well varied, with something for everyone. In our party, we had veal, sole, steak and pasta. Each dish was presented... More

Nicos has been there as long as I can remember and for good reason too that it has survived. Best Scampi in Dublin. Great to meet old friends or as a post theatre dinner. It's old school Italian nothing fancy but never fails to deliver!

We stopped at Nico's on our last night of our trip to Ireland and were not disappointed. The chicken in marinara was very authentic. It was an early dinner so we weren't overly hungry and therefore requested to split the entree. The chef served the salad and chicken on two plates and the serving was generous. The staff as well... Emilio is the owner here and he superbly manages a Supreme Itailan in the city centre right on the big George's street Junction. No pizza here just classic Italian

Came for a lunch when we were all dressed up for a wedding later in the day, our attire was well suited to the atmosphere. All waiters seemed to be Italian, speaking Italian to some "regulars" there, a good sign. Nice wine selection. Veal and spaghetti was excellent. We travel regularly to Italy (for the food!) and were not disappointed.... More

9 of us descended on Nicos to celebrate a 30th birthday on a Friday night. Made feel very welcome on arrival. Food was superb with everyone eating something different. Two of us had spaghetti carbonara which was as good as it could be! A bottle of pepoli went down very well. Great atmosphere with piano tinkling away in the background.

Unusual in that there is no view out and window but still comfortable surroundings. €75 for lunch for two with a bottle of wine and coffees. Both had the spaghetti and veal parma. Quiet good. The menu is very traditional and a little limited but the quality is there must go back for dinner.

Our last dinner of our week long trip in Ireland was at Nico's. We literally stepped out of the insanity of the Temple Bar/Downtown area into this quiet oasis of elegance and culinary delight. It was like we were transported into Rome. The service was Italian all the way and the food was second to none. The perfect ending of... More
