My first visit here since 1986

It was great! The cassata is still on the dessert menu and as good as I remembered it! Love the new extended menu and house wines are excellent, very friendly and helpful staff especially with food allergies, I recommend the beautiful Dublin mussels in white wine as an entree

The standout dish forever here is the Fresh Scampi lightly fried with wafer thin crisply sautéed potatoes and lashings of tartar sauce. Pastas are good enough if not quite the level they used to be but perhaps steer clear of the Risotto which they need to take a serious look at. All in all one of the best in Dublin.

Had lunch here today and as ever the food and the service were top class! Two of us had the best scampi in Dublin. From previous visits I can vouch for the rest of the menu as well!

this restaurant serves wonderful traditional Italian food. Don't expect trendy or flashy surroundings but if you want good food well cooked this is the place to go. The waiters are professional and polite and the restaurant is clean and comfortable.

Lovely meal in this old long-established restaurant - well known to locals and not touristy. Good place to meet up with friends. Nice staff.

Really looked after extremely well by the proprietors and the staff here couldn't have been more helpful and love the music, Impossible to miss this place as it is situated at the great Georges Street junction and Dame Street which is the meeting of the waters for everything in Temple Bar

Apparently Nico's has been serving Italian food here for several decades. So don't expect a trendy, modern eating place. This is more a place to settle down with good company and enjoy the food. It was very busy the evening we visited which resulted in some delays in service. It was also cramped as they squeezed in a few extra... More

Nico's in Dublin,Ireland is a long time respected restaurant. On our visit the service was impeccable, not overbearing but courteous. The prices are very competitive and what you order is what you get. The minestrone soup is just that and very good The fish was excellent and beautifully served and the price for starter and main course between 20 and 30 euro. The... More
