Have visited this restaurant numerous times over the last few months with friends and family. Great food and atmosphere with piano player adding to ambiance. We always go for the early bird meal which is great value and even at this time, restaurant is packed.

Nostalgia prevails, the menu, the ambiance, the staff, the pianist all except the cost. Slightly expensive but worth the trip. The seafood particularly good. Close proximity of the tables can lead to interaction between customers as it did on our last 2 occasions there. If you want a taste of Old 50's/60's Dublin you will get here in the food... More

We thought instantly of this spot to celebrate our daughter's graduation with 10 family members of varying ages from 13 up. We got the early bird menu which kept the bill manageable for us. The dinner was exactly what we had hoped for; excellent, first-rate food which we enjoyed immensely in the warm atmosphere. We have been going to this... More

We stumbled across this place a few weeks ago while wandering around Temple Bar and looking for something a bit more sophisticated /up market than a basic pub. We chanced upon this gem. I put my head in the door and immediately knew we had found it... there was a happy hum and a gentleman right at the front door... More

When we needed to get in out of the rain, this restaurant was nearby. At first I was worried because there were so few patrons on a busy Friday in September. After all it was Culture Night and the city was full of people. But we decided to look at the menu. A three course meal in a really swanky... More

Nicos I live in Las Vegas and have dined at some upscale restaurants. This place can't carry a candle light in the wind compared to them but they act like they do. I also own a business and would fire anyone who acted so arrogant and rude to customers. News Flash: You exist because of customers, not because you think... More

Really lovely Italian, food delicious, I say shhhh keep it to yourself as I feel the restaurant had just the right amount of customers all enjoying a fab dinner in a sedate manner, no loud stags/hens even though it's right in Temple Bar. Lovely for a romantic evening.the cleanest restaurant & bathrooms I've seen in years. Decor a bit dated... More

A recent trip to Nico's has become the first of more visits. Nico's is a real gem in the city. It is a small, intimate restaurant, with an emphasis on friendliness, quality and having a great time. The menu was well varied, with something for everyone. In our party, we had veal, sole, steak and pasta. Each dish was presented... More
