This was the best pint of Guiness in the city, including the Guiness factory! Great atmosphere. Lovely friendly staff. Come early as it's heaving later on.

This is a great place to get the feel of the full Irish pub experience Great bartender. On a side street close to a lot of hotels, etc. Not sure if they have food but they have Guiness!

Stopped in at Mulligan's on the way to view the Book of Kells at Trinity College. It was lunch time and we were hungry, they weren't serving food but the bartender directed us to a sandwich shop next store, and told us we could bring the food back to Mulligan's, which we did. We loved the atmosphere, and the Guinness... More

we had a leaving do in there and found it to be an excellent bar with good beer and atmosphere, its slightly off the tourist routes but close enough to Tara Street DART for ease of getting there, well worth seeking it out

Avoid Temple Bar district and try to find really local pubs like this one. Staff was so friendly. Best Ireland experience i had during my stay in Dublin. Just go there...

Quite simply this is the best pint of Guinness in Dublin. The pub itself is nicely old fashioned and is away from the main tourist areas in the centre of Dublin.

Blue collar mixes with the academic crowd in this classic pub near the quays on the southside. Great beverages and conversation highlight this wonderful pub.

One of Dublin's best pubs, not a restaurant but a superb pub, with a lovely atmosphere, and a brilliant well pulled pint of stout.

Cross over O'Connell Bridge to the south side, walk down a few yards down the Quay and turn down Tara street. Poolbeg street is in the right. Solid Dublin pub near the Irish Times building. Some tourists and a lot of locals. Said to serve one of best pints of Guinness in Dublin... and it ain't bad!!! All that is... More
