One of the best Pubs in Dublin

This pub is best described as one of the best examples of an Irish pub. It has no fancy décor, is small and can be very crowded most evenings. Not far off the beaten track this place was heaving when we arrived on a mid-week evening. Good beer and friendly staff who don't need to be reminded what you've had when you ask for another.

best pint of Guinness this side of the black hole of the planet uranus . the owner assures me that if you can get a nicer pint you must be on another planet. The craic is 90 , you do not even have to go to to the Isle of Man . The place is full of Literiary Geniuses like... More

Ate here and thought though the experience was a good one, the food was only above average and that it was quite expensive so left disappointed all round, though it was a good meal.

Mulligans was my local for the few months that I lived in Smithfield and I miss it so much !! Really friendly fun staff, great food, great selection of craft beers and there was always a good playlist on in the background. I would describe it as a low-key (unpretentious) hipster bar 😜 great place to chill with friends. Miss... More

Going to this pub is like entering a different dimension. It all depends on the time of the day you get in there. Earlier during the day there is the odd customer and the atmosphere can be very very dull indeed. After office hours it is a different story, as the place gets jammed with a vibrant atmosphere. If you... More

Just had time for one drink here before eating in the vintage kitchen , almost next door. G & T hit the right spot,. Lovely old fashioned , friendly pub and so so clean. Need to visit again to be sure to be sure , can't imagine I'll be disappointed.

Mulligan's one of my favourite pubs in Dublin. Great barmen. Christy and Noel over forty years service between them.A great place to visit on your own, you will be given a warm welcome or with friend's. Soak up the atmosphere. It's not in the Temple bar area so it's missed by many of the tourist who flock their and get... More

The best pint of Guinness in Dublin City is to be had in Mulligans on Poolbeg Street, best for a couple of quiet ones midweek or in the early evening as can be a bit busy on the weekend, but even when busy it's a pleasantly lively place for a pint or two.
