Traditional Irish pub in the true sense of the word

If you're a Guinness drinker then this is the place for you. This pub is as traditional as it gets. Anytime we visit it's packed and the atmosphere is great. Another great advantage - no loud music to try and shout over.

The perfect Dublin pub, attracts people from all walks fo life - just how it should be. This is a pub where you come to chat, escape work, the net and the constant need to be tuned in and have a bit of banter with the lads behind the bar (all there for years). If you're visiting Ireland - take... More

It's been a while since I had visited this old haunt and it was great to see that the friendliness of the staff and the craic still remains. The buzz about the place was exciting and there was a good mix of locals and visitors. The TV was the only 'entertainment' but when that went off, the craic kicked in... More

.... John Mulligans is probably the best Boo-Hoozer in the world . Much copied much bandied about in conversation . I have been going there on and off since the late '60s and even though I don't partake of the ' falling down water ' anymore I still pop in when I am in Dublin for a White Lemonade and... More

As a Dubliner I just love this pub. It has history and its a real Dublin pub. Drop in because its friendly, great choice of beers and stout and the prices are not too bad. Sit back and relax because you will enjoy

I was with five others when we called in here - every last one of them attested that this was the best Guinness they'd ever tasted. The wine was Dublin standard, that is, small bottles. Normal Dublin prices. This is a proper pub - not a wine bar, not a gastropub. It's got plenty of locals drinking in it, it... More

This is a pub which you expect to see in Dublin. Old School with oodles of charm. Friendly traditional bar man and an excellent pint!
