Great old-school pub in the heart of Dublin. Excellent place to pop in for a pint of Guinness or even two:)

Proper authentic old style Irish pub which offers the best pint of Guinness in Dublin - now maybe that's just a combination of the decor, the atmosphere, the service and really good pints, but put all that together and you get a little bit of magic.

Step back in time and feel the quality of a real "atmosphere". This is a genuine and lovely pub, really historic, famous, and a top notch pint of Guinness. A real slice of old Dublin. Particularly wonderful in the winter but worth a stop all year round if you can find it!

Proper pub, before Irish pubs were invented, this was an Irish pub. Still holds the old magic, A place to listen and talk and enjoy the ambiance...

This is one of my favourite pubs in Dublin. You have to try the Guinness. Always a welcome smile when you walk in. Service great and the craic is 90.

Best pint of Guinness I've had in years. Real barman pulling real pints and none of this Temple Bar crap

Classic Dublin "Old school" or traditional pub. No music, no tellies - great pint of Guinness and good conversation.

After my husband and I did the more touristy pub (Brazenhead), we asked a local for the pub that HE goes to. He recommended Mulligan's and off we went! Mulligan's is located pretty centrally, but I would recommend having a local circle it on a map if you don't have cell data like us. Mulligan's is a TRUE Dublin Pub.... More

This is an excellent pub for a pint. Not at all touristy. In fact we were probably the only tourists in there. Off the beaten path. It definitely has character, and it is probably what comes to mind when you think, "Irish Pub!"
