Great experience for our first real Irish pub. There is no music, just friends sitting around having a great time with one another over drinks. It was a bit hot in the front of the bar, but if you move to the back you'll find the AC units. Great service as well!

The last time I was in The Long Hall was 20 years ago when you were lucky to get a bag of Tayto crisps and a toasted (pre made and wrapped) ham and cheese "sanger". A classic pub outside of the stag patrol. One of the greats. See you soon.

Wonderful, low key pub that concentrates on truly great friendly service. It has been there a very long time yet seems to get better with age. The style is historic, old school the vibe is welcome.

We stopped at the Long Hall pub while doing a Dublin Walkabout. This is a beautiful place and we enjoyed chatting and hearing stories about the famous folk who like to drop by "incognito" when they are in town.

If you want to experience one of the classic Dublin pubs you must try here. The Guinness is flawless. The interior has not changed for decades. Great atmosphere. VERY busy of Thursday and Friday nights. Go in the afternoon :-)

Super friendly staff, fantastic customers, felt like we were locals. As the name indicates it is a long hall style tavern. Beautifully ornate, Victorian era, wood walls, antiques all around, and a wonderful beer selection including my favorite Smithwick's. Feel like a local and head over to Long Hall for a pint or two.

We were amazied by this...not expected what we would see and felt like we were entering a movie set for Harry Potter! This is covered by your admission to the book of Kells and tour of Trinity College.

This pub is the real deal, no gimmicks, no frills, no drama - just good quality beer in a pub that hasn't changed through out the years, even though everything around it is basically unrecognizable. To the best of my knowledge this is a listed building and I hope this pub never changes. It's like taking a step back in... More

Before you walk inside the door you are transported to another time in Dublins history. The red & white tarpaulin overhanging the window, the dark wood and aged signage. Ponce you enter, you know this is old. It's not fake old but genuine. Look to the ceiling and be awed by the plaster work, the colours inside draw you into... More
