We heard the fish and chips were supposed to be good here so we had to check it out on our trip to Dublin. By far the best fish and chips we've ever had. I'd highly recommend them and wish we'd gone again on our trip!

Heard a lot of good things about burdocks,so was glad to get to try traditional fish and chips. Service was fast and friendly, and servings are large! My wife and I split an order of cod and chips and took it over to Christ church lawn because the weather was so nice. (I believe burdocks only does carry out) the fish... More

Went here on the recommendation of a friend. I had never heard of it before so did not know what to expect. It was very nice. The staff were brilliant, friendly and nice to deal with. The food was lovely and good value. Great place if you want something simple for lunch on the move.

A review that favours caution for tourists. The indigenous taste buds seem geared to the soft subtle flavours on offer in Ireland and Britain. Some of the dishes in this part of the world are equisite, fish pies and complex onion gravies that I really love - some pretty good sausage too. When done well the local food is tasty... More

Fish and chips were fab! We asked for salt and vinegar and there wasn't any vinegar and their mushy peas were not good which is why I've downgraded to 4*. Visited the chip shop by Christ Church. A must stop if you want proper fish and chips!

Fish had too much batter and grease, and the chips were soggy. The only things I liked about this place are the friendliness of the staff, and being allowed to buy a glass of beer next-door and bringing it back here.

A trip to Ireland is not complete without a stop at our favorite Fish & Chip place, Leo Burdock's in Dublin. in 2011, we visited the Temple Bar location, and this trip, we stopped at the shop just a half a block from our hotel, Jurys Inn-Christchurch. Both had the same great food! And such huge portions! We got one... More

It took us awhile to find Leo Burdock's - it is tucked away behind the main street and right near Christ Church! It was certainly worth the effort to find it! When we popped in, there were some locals inside ordering. They were very sweet and told the employees that it was our first night in Dublin and that we... More

Enough fish, twice as many more potatoes and nothing had any flavor. Maybe I should've used more malt vinegar. Like the whole bottle. Prices a bit much. Will wait till London and try again. This is take away, no tables.
