best fish n chips ever

a small but amazing hole where to get arguably the best fish and chips ever. try the smoked fish and enjoy! the only thing is, they should have some benches or something outside for the customer to sit down and enjoy properly those goodies

For all the reputation this place has, still feeling sick 24 hours later after very bland fish and chips. First visit in over 20 years. Very disappointing. If you like fish and chips once or twice a year, go elsewhere.

No seating, so take it away and eat in the lovely park by St. Patrick's Cathedral (5 minutes away) on a nice day. Huge portions of fish and chips- must get curry or garlic sauce. Delicious fish and chips!

When you're told to go somewhere by four completely unrelated people, you listen!! We did and weren't disappointed. Fresh crisp batter, delicious fish (we had the cod) and perfectly cooked hand cut chips!!! If you're in the neighbourhood actually even if you're not, make sure you go! You won't be disappointed!! General side note, the servings are massive.

A visit to Dublin is not complete without fish and chips from Leo Burdock's, as proven by the list of celebrities who have visited and enjoyed.

I was advised by the taxi driver who drove me from Dublin airport that I could not leave town before experiencing fish and chips from Burdock's. The Radisson Blu hotel where I was staying was 2 blocks away from Burdocks so I had to do it! When I arrived there was a line of people out the door and down... More

The fish and chips were defintely not the best ones we had! They were really average, dry and with no taste. I am sorry to say that I had stomach pain after eating food from this place. A big disappointment.

This is such lovely chipper! Tasty hot food always. Only I would like to say that the portions have gotten a lot smaller in recent times! It can be quite annoying as roughly 2yrs ago the portions would have been endless and now I feel they are getting cheap. Please make the portions bigger!!

I Make It a Point to Visit Leo Burdock's, 'Dublin's Oldest Chipper', EVERY Time I'm in Dublin since 2007 and my Favorite is the Smoked Salmon Fish & Chips although the Cod is out of this world too. There are several locations throughout Dublin, but I prefer this, the original take away location in Christchurch, where the boys from U-2... More
