We heard about this "take away" spot while watching Bobbie Flay's review of his Ireland trip. It was definitely the place to get very good fish and chips. Generous portions too - we split one order. If only we could have sat down to eat. Tiny space and it gets crowded so you may need to wait outside until your... More

This is the place for fish and chips. Located in the Temple Bar district it has seen many famous guests over the years whose names are listed on a big Celebrity Hall of Fame board inside the front door - Billy Connolly, U2, Eddie Jordan, Bertie Ahern etc. Famous people from all walks of life. The staff are very friendly... More

One of the thing we wanted to try was the local favourite curry chips. Leo's did not disappointed. Lovely friendly staff working behind the counter and very yummy hand cut chips. Thanks!!!!!

As an Asian foodie, I had high expectations after tasting the fish and chips in the likes of Howth and Bunsen (hand cut chips, yum)..was sorely disappointed when I opened the bag of cod and chips to find it all soggy and bland. Would advise against trying this place at all as there's better place out there..not to mention the... More

one of the best that we had in Ireland, they are ok but not great, fish n chips do not seem to be a highlight of Ireland, believe me we tried very many different locations in our two week tour of the country, England, Scotland and even Canada where we are from are sorry to say have better fish n... This was probably the best fish & chips I've ever had. The portions were very generous in my opinion - I couldn't finish it all. The fish was perfectly battered. The fries were amazing, and they put the salt & vinegar on for you if you'd like. You can get a garlic sauce to dip (extra charge) and it was... More

My parents are I visited Leo's after getting rave reviews from locals. There was a short line when we arrived but we didn't wait long. The shop is a little tiny thing with no seating. We ended up eating at a church park just across the street which was lovely. We ordered the haddock with chips. Not enough vinegar for... More

Certainly the best fish and chips that we have had on our three week trip in Ireland. Two important notes. Portions are very large. One portion will easily serve two. Secondly on the advice of a local, get the fish and chips AND bits. Phenomenal. I only wish I were going to be in Dublin longer.

Ok so i wrote a review on here before saying that it was great, well the last time i went back it was not! Tiny tiny portions of chips now, disgracefully small. I emailed their website to complain, no response, messaged their facebook page, no response. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!! RIP OFF!!!

While this is a take-away only place, it is a must do if you are looking for the best Fish n Chips in the area. If you see a line waiting, wait. It is truly worth it and if the day is good, take your golden fried delight across the street to the churchyard, enjoy, and watch the world go... More
