Great fish and chips

The cod we had was excellent. Freshly fried, light and crispy. Chips were a bit on the blond side. Could have been a bit more crisp but when piping hot they were very good so eat quick! Curry sauce was excellent! Wonderful friendly staff. Well worth a visit. Would certainly go again and highly... read more

You cant go to Dublin and not stop for Burdock's Fish and Chips! I was told its the oldest Fish and Chips shop in Dublin. Its very very good! I would suggest you ask for extra vinegar (if you like) as they don't put very much on if you just have it normally. 10EUR for a portion, and its enough... More

This place service decent fish and mediocre chips. Certainly not the best fish and chips I've had in Ireland.

Every time I'm in Dublin I make a chance to swing by Burdock's and grab some fish n' chips alongside the locals. With so many people stopping in on the way home from work, I figure it's the place to be!

Amazing fish & chips! The service was great - the food was fresh each time we went. It was so good that we ate there 3 times during our 3 night stay in Dublin.

No visit to Dublin would be complete without a keg of beer and soakage from this great fish and chip shop. Ask for the crispy bits... Yummm

Had seen the reviews/was looking to try some fish-n-chips so we stopped here. Was pretty disappointing. The fish portions were large, but quite greasy and had a heavy breading that we finally discarded. The chips were plentiful, but tasteless and dry. Was the least favorite of the fish-n-chips we had during our 2 weeks in Ireland. Not very satisfying but... More

Very famous and traditional fish and chips. It's big enough so you can split it. The fish is good but I didn't like the chips.

We had the lemon sole and chips for a late lunch. This is the best fish & chips we've ever had. Tagline for the restaurant says their fish & chips are why the vikings came to Ireland: we'd agree! This is a take away only location. They were quick and efficient, but line may end up out the door: it's... More
