I found this place by accident just walking past it. (It's conveniently located in the main tourist area just by Christ Church Cathedral.) I went in to get fish and chips, as I wanted to eat fish and chips in Ireland. Rather than just the basic haddock, I went upmarket (if there's such a thing with fish and chips) and... More

Though the place is quite small and tends to be overcrowded (probably due to the delicious food and to the fact that it's the oldest and most well-known fish and chips shop in Dublin), the service is really fast and the staff is very kind! The food is good and there's a varied offer of different kinds of fish to... More

It's not elegant, but it is great: fresh fish, freshly cooked chips, generous portions, served with a smile and in brisk fashion. Easy to find location across from Christ Church and very near several neighbourhood hotels.

When I previously worked in Dublin I was introduced to Burdocks by work colleagues who told me it was the best Chippy in Dublin. When I visited Dublin with friends I thought I would share the experience. They all agreed the fish (smoked and cod) were first class and the chips were excellent. All agreed that a visit to Burdocks... More

You can't go wrong when your fish and chippy is wrapped in newsprint and you eat it sitting beside the Liffey in Dublin. One of the best Fish and Chip experiences I've had, and I've had them all over the world. You want a quality fish and crispy chips hit Leo B's.

We didnt realise how expensive dublin was before we came. We got told by friends and family, but we was not aware how expensive it could be. We came across this little gem on when searching for a cheapish bit of food. What we got in return was amazing! Fish chips and curry sauce, the best i have had in... More

I never ate fish&chips until i came here with my friends. I must tell you something - i'm a big guy myself, but the ration was more than enough. The fish had some really tasty dressing and the chips was fine. The service was ok, but the waiter didn't hear us or something he gave us forks instead of cokes... More

The best fish and Chips in Ireland. Friendly service, so nice to my kids when ordering. Gave great recommendations. Best Chipper in Ireland. The smoked cod and chips was the best meal I had in Dublin.

Good value for money! Not the very best I have ever had but certainly delicious! Great snack for in between! One portion is almost good for 2!! :)
