Very good experience

We had a voucher and usually expect that we will be treated accordingly. However we were pleasantly surprised. The food was plentiful, and beautifully presented by a very professional waitress. We had a voucher and usually expect that we will be treated accordingly. However we were pleasantly surprised. The food was plentiful, and beautifully presented by a very professional waitress. I read the reviews on this site before I went for my meal with my RT voucher. I was concerned, to say the least. However, to those of you who still have their vouchers, I would like to allay your fears. I had a very pleasant meal, in the main dining room, with great service. We opted for the early... More

Remembered the Il Primo of old and bought a rewarding times voucher to re-experience. Bad mistake. Was told could only have a table from 5:15 on a Friday evening till 19:15 - don't know why the place was empty and remained so for a good hour and a half. Menu not great but food was awful - any italian should... More

Had a rewarding times voucher. We were shown to a basic room removed from the main dining room. There was one other couple in the room so there was no real atmosphere. Food was good, even though the portions were small. Could have done with some bread to soak up sauce. When we were leaving, the 'real' dining room was... More

I visited this restaurant Saturday 14th March. I had a voucher and was told on the phone I could only use it at 5 or 9.30 on a Saturday night which I was a little upset about. I decided to make a 9.30 reservation and I arrived at the Restaurant at 8.00pm to advise I was near by and when... More

Had a Rewarding Times voucher - on Fridays/Saturdays only usuable at 5pm or 9 pm so we went midweek. We were showed to a dimly lit dreary basic room at the top of the stairs although a nicer area was completly empty. Voucher cost €69 supposedly worth €137 - not even good value at €69 - included wine retailing at... More

We ate there on spec on the Friday evening, I guess we were lucky to get a table. The food was excellent, the wines were very, very, good. The smoked haddock bruschetta starter was superb. The lambs liver tagliatelle was cooked to perfection, the pasta was al dente and the lambs liver was soft and pink and delicious, the Madeira... More

Lovely Italian food if a little on the expensive side. The venue is lovely and one of the best aspects was being able to stay all evening after a 7pm sitting

I would highly recommend this restaurant. Fresh ingredients, tasty food and great service. Enjoyed everything from starters to main courses. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were friendly.
