Felt like demi pensionnaires!

Had a Rewarding Times voucher - on Fridays/Saturdays only usuable at 5pm or 9 pm so we went midweek. We were showed to a dimly lit dreary basic room at the top of the stairs although a nicer area was completly empty. Voucher cost €69 supposedly worth €137 - not even good value at €69 - included... read more

We ate there on spec on the Friday evening, I guess we were lucky to get a table. The food was excellent, the wines were very, very, good. The smoked haddock bruschetta starter was superb. The lambs liver tagliatelle was cooked to perfection, the pasta was al dente and the lambs liver was soft and pink and delicious, the Madeira... More

Lovely Italian food if a little on the expensive side. The venue is lovely and one of the best aspects was being able to stay all evening after a 7pm sitting

I would highly recommend this restaurant. Fresh ingredients, tasty food and great service. Enjoyed everything from starters to main courses. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were friendly.

Very good Italian restaurant just off Camden street. The food from starters to main courses were excellent and the service was second to none. I would highly recommend it for a night out but book early as it gets booked up quickly.Would I go there again DEFINITELY.

Fresh and tasty Italian food. There is no fuss in decor etc. But food speaks for itself and great selection of Italian wines. Great specials on blackboard too, so you will never get bored of trying food here, There s always something new. Love the fresh vegetables on pizza and nice risottos. Love using some of the sale offers they... More

We found this restaurant by chance one evening while looking for something fast to eat and everywhere seemed all booked up. We were concerned about going in as we had a 3 year old with us and the restaurant looked rather too nice with too many wine glasses. The place was mainly filled by couples after a romantic meal for... More

i had a quick lunch in Il Primo today with a friend. I started with a spicy pork and cannelini bean soup which was perfect. I then had beef arancini in a tomato sauce with basil pesto. The arancini were nicer than any I had in Sicily earlier this year. Loved it.

Not very pleasent experience, i didnt think there was such a thing as poor quality food and lack lustre service around these days as this is the first place i can honestly say wasnt worth the price they charge for fatty beef, 6 over done broad beans and reheated roasters on a plate, also no christmas atmosphere to cover up...
