I have been here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. Super atmosphere, great food and drink and fantastic service. Never disappoints.

Me and my two friends were the only people in the place and we struggled to get our drink order taken. That being said the brochette sampler and seafood pasta were the bomb.com. Cool cave-like atmosphere.

For me this restaurant is the highlight of any trip to Dublin (I'm Irish but live up in Sligo). It's tucked away in the corner of meeting house square giving a feeling of being a little bit removed from the madness of Temple Bar. Normally I visit with my wife and we both love the gorgeous food. I've been to... More

We arrived 15 minutes late and were warmly received, we were led to wonderfully atmospheric brick vaulted room of which we were given a large table with ample circulation space. From the extensive menu the group ate a selection of chicken, pasta and steaks. All were delighted with the quality of the materials used which were clearly all fresh and... More

After visiting friends in Dublin last weekend (Saturday) my wife decided that the four of us go to Il Baccaro after the great experience we had there last year. We were greeted by a lovely Italian PR girl on the street who brought us with a smile to the restaurant which is situated in Temple Bar Meeting House Square. Were... More

Surprisingly elegant and delicate flavors. Superb Italian wine list. Excellent cocktails. Personal and attentive service. It was recommended by people we met at an airport on another trip, and they were right. Others we have recommended it to, have already told us how they liked it. A great break from Irish food.

We came across this restaurant by accident! Just a short walk from the main street in Temple Bar! We immediately were made to feel more than welcome by the lovely staff who were more than attentive! We had a bruchetta starter each & both had pasta dishes which were really tasty & good size portions which we washed down by... More

We had a lovely relaxing unexpected meal here due to us missing our ferry home and we had 5 hours to kill until the next one. We had assorted bruschetta to start which was very tasty but a little heavy on the olive oil. My main was chicken in white wine with broccoli with garlic and chilli (what chilli?) his... More

Went here for an early dinner on a Saturday evening. The staff moved around the reserved tables so we could sit on our own a little bit more. We had the bruschetta and anti-pasti of cheese and meat to start. Salad dressing was light and moreish. The pasta we had was cooked al dente and the sauces were gorgeous. Then... More

Wonderfully laid out restaurant which would give you lots to talk about if on a first date. The food we ordered was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and prompt. The location is good as it gives you a lot of privacy but you are still in the heart of the city.
