The cafe was full but the scottish head waiter found me a table, although the place was full the service was very quick and the pizza was one of the best I have had, i would highly recommend this cafe to anyone like me visiting Dublin.

Food selection is very good, service is good, staff no problem... Big problem was the fruit flies that where all over the place , we advised our server who just at first thought we where imagining it but when they came back with our bill there was flies on the table and the wall, we paid the bill, when a new server... HI Davedj68, I am very sorry that your visit was marred by the issue which we were having with fruit flies earlier this week. We were having some minor building works carried out which entailed cutting open a wall which apparently allowed these flies access to our building. At the time of your visit we had already arranged for pest... More

When myself and my boyfriend arrived for a small bite we were told fully booked..so when we were told that a table had come available we were delighted!! Only to be sat right by the door and to be served warm, bland and tasteless food! The hostess was nothing but rude and turned many people away with a simple we are... More

Dear Jenk46 For the first time ever in 30 years I would like to review your review! Yes we were full and UNFORTUNATELY for us we managed to squeeze you in to a table at the front which was all that was available. You could have declined the table as it was too close to the door which it is... More

Chinese duck pizza is about as grotesque as it sounds. With plenty of much nicer options in its immediate vicinity, I'd give this spot a fairly wide berth.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed with the Chinatown pizza - many of our customers love this pizza but it is quite sweet and not to everyone's taste. Personally I would find it too sweet but I know plenty of regular customers who swear by it and it has been on our pizza menu since 1993! We hope you might... More

The Gotham breakfast was very average compared to the other meals we had experienced in city. Plus points - service was efficient and friendly.

There is always a buzz in the Gotham. We have been coming here for over 10 years. We have brought our children, our teenagers and now our young adult children with us during these years. In fact when we visit our adult children in Dublin they simply say they can't think of anywhere better to go to eat! The staff... More

Dublin seems to be overrun by Mexican restaurants and tapas bars at present so after wandering around for a while we decided to try Gotham Café. We were given a warm welcome and despite the restaurant being very busy we managed to obtain a table for two. We ordered pizzas which we adapted from the menu to suit our tastes.... More

My partner, Sonia and I were meeting up in Dublin - both making our separate ways there. I was arriving by train quite late from Mayo, so we were looking for somewhere that was serving after 10pm. Sonia had booked the Gotham. When we arrived the place was bouncing - a good sign. The service was very pleasant and the... More

Everyone had a different selection and all of them were well presented and tasted good..we sampled all of them. It is a good place to go to if you like good meat dishes.
