We ate here our first night in Dublin after finding it on TripAdvisor and loved it! it is located in the Temple Bar area and is by far the best restaurant in the area. The food is excellent and reasonably priced (for Dublin). The boxtys (like a thick crepe) are unique and very tasty and the sauces are delicious. The... More

When with friends for a long weekend in Dublin, found this restaurant on TripAdvisor iPhone app (well worth having). Restaurant was brilliant, food fabulous and the staff really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I would definitively go back and recommend the restaurant.

We walked the Temple Bar area several nites & finally chose this very atmosperice purely Irish restaurant.....& we weren't disappointed! Irish & international clientele. The food was hearty, Irish fare & tasty indeed. Full bar service with reasonably priced bottle wine at Euro/20 per bottle! Unlike other reviewers who were disappointed with their seating, we asked & were placed in... More

I can't say 'THE BEST' meal of my life outright because my boyfriend is a chef but it was the best meal i had in Ireland and i know he felt the same. So filling, so tasty. I went for the very simple corned beef and mash... you'd think 'simple and not as filled as a heavy stew'... YES its... More

We waited a long time for the food. One of the dishes was bad but was replaced. Prices are expensive compared to the value.

I recently visited Dublin and from looking at reviews prior to this I decided to book a table for the first evening of our visit (friday). On arrival we found the restaurant to be full and those who had not booked were not able to be seated, luckily I had read how popular the place was. Straight away we were... More

I visited this restaurant due to a Foursquare tip on a Monday night. When I arrived, it was already very busy, so I was surprised that the hostess managed to get me a seat. When I left, the queue was all the way out the door, so go early or reserve. The dining room was very cosy and had a... More

We happened to stumble across this place whilst on our way to Temple Bar. The prices were very reasonable compared to some of the other restaurants we had looked at and we were very keen to try some traditional Irish food. There was a bit of a queue and when we managed to speak to the desk there was an... More
