Great gay friendly bar and food not bad either....

Had a quiet lunch here and also came back for drinks in the evening. Food was good but limited choice; service a bit hit and miss but friendly. Evening was better as a bar - mixed crowd, friendly bar staff, nice vibe with great surroundings. A clasy place without being pretentious. Cocktail menu... read more

Came here for dinner on St Patrick's eve. Location of restaurant part is sandwiched between two bars so no marks for ambience. Was looking forward to food as knew chef had come from The Chophouse. Unfortunately chef was on night off the food was no where near that standard and the service was dismal. The poor girl serving had no... More

the front lounge I knew as pubs not as restaurante, so I was a bit skeptical at idea of going to eat them ,as I entered I noticed the new style, much more elegant and refined .My friend and I took place in front of the kitchen, which I really like the open kitchen, immediately the waiter with menus asked... Had lunch here during the week as a recce for a group of 16 planning to go tomorrow. They offered only the Brunch menu even though window display said it was only on Saturday & Sunday. This is at a higher price for budget conscious visitors. OK steak sandwich and glass of wine costs almost €20!! We have booked elsewhere.

My friends and I always get together in Dublin just before Christmas. The Front Lounge used to be my local bar, before I moved to the UK four years ago. We had orginally booked a table for 6 people, but were unsure if a few more people would join us. The lady kindly set up some more places and were... More

Visited this pub in Dec on a trip to Dublin, draws a good crowd from the gay community, food was ok...but very expensive for what I ordered. Toilets are very shabby, tiny cubicles which are impossible to nearly turn around in, which is a shame considering they have put a lot of work into the pub itself. A very chilly... More

This gay friendly pub has recently been refurbished and it now serves food from an extortionately expensive menu (Beef burger and chips €16.50) A selection of pastries for €8.00. A pint of Tiger beer €6. Now I cannot comment on the food as I went elsewhere to eat...because of the prices. My friends and I only stayed to have two... More
