Out of 5 I would give the following: Food: 5 Setting: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Staff: 4 Location: 3 Value: 3 A steak was around 30euro and the cheapest bottle of red wine was around 24euro. Overall the food is delicious but it is pricey.

Dobbins is listed on TripAdvisor as a wine bar but this little gem is so much more. My family brought me there for a surprise birthday dinner and it was a real treat. The staff are friendly and attentive but the real star is the food! Beautifully presented and delicious. The Castletownbere crab starter is to die for and all... More

We are just back in France after a superb few days in Dublin. One of the highlights was a visit to our favourite restaurant of many years, DOBBINS. We were there for an early bird Christmas dinner on Wednesday last 10 th December. The food was fantastic, we could not say more, the best. Our waitress was a young Polish... More

I dined here recently with a group following a graduation ceremony in Dublin. The food was beautifully presented and was delicious. Gary, the chef really makes you feel as if each dish has been specifically prepared with you in mind. The menu is very varied with a broad range of options including an early bird option. I think what draws... More

Love this place. Was brought here 4 years ago for a work meeting and loved the food so much that I continue to go back again and again. Would highly recommend this place.

This is undoubtedly the best bistro in Dublin. Tucked away in Stephens Lane, yet well known. Fab varied menu so never get the déjà vous feeling and enjoy something different every time. Food quality excellent. Something for everyone. Extensive great wine list. Most of all, great staff - warm and friendly who take a real interested in their customers

We were a group of eleven and they gave us the upper floor room. Very well organised, the place has a lot of space, the service was perfect, the food very good. The wine choice not bad (a bit expensive), few Italian and Spanish, it's a pity.
