We came here as part of a group of around 24 for a birthday meal. Our hosts were attentive and welcoming, and the food was to die for! I'm not a vegetarian, but would highly recommend the taleggio dish for both veggies and non-veggies! However, all of our friends commented on the outstanding quality of all the dishes, so don't... Had a lovely meal in Dobbins recently. This is about the fifth time we've been here in the last couple years. It's a really nice cozy and friendly establishment that has been around for at least 35 years. The food is excellent and the service great. Would highly recommend this eatery for either a formal or very informal meal.

This was my first time here and I have to say I really enjoyed it. The food was excellent and the staff were first class. Normally I wouldn't have dessert but the the starter and main course I had were that good I had to try it and I was not disappointed. Already looking forward to my next visit

Myself & my husband dined here recently and it was a most enjoyable experience. I had the duck for main course & my husband had monkfish, both were absolutely beautiful, top marks for the potato gratin and also i have to complement the breads, the brown bread was just delicious, so moist. A delectable cheese board & two glasses of... More

My second time in Dobbins; my boyfriend treated me to dinner here on Saturday night. We availed of the 3 course early bird menu which had a massive amount of options. The food was delicious- as was the wine and prosecco (and the breads were excellent)! Customer service/ staff were top notch. We were left waiting the correct amount of... More

I have been to Dobbins a few times over last year mostly for Sunday lunch but a reduction of choice on the menu and possibly a new chef or some other event seems to have catapulted their food from good tasty food to very poor, stale overcooked hake ,overcooked pototoes ,dry tasteless steak ,and slow service definitely wont be running... We always enjoy Dobbins but,on this occasion, they let themselves, and us,down with wine that was not cool let alone cold.We ordered a bottle of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc..the only one they have in that category..it was almost room temperature with the excuse being that it had only arrived in that morning. That was no doubt true and the staff did attempt to rectify... This was my second time here and my memories served me well. Again, both the food and the service was excellent. Appetizers at our Table included the goat cheese special and the prawn salad which were both Good. Main meals included duck, lamb and fish. All were outstanding but The duck was especially good. Service is impeccable. Wine selection good.... More

We come here fairly regulariy (5-6 times per year) but always for Sunday lunch. Great quality food along with friendly service. My most recent visit was last Sunday and again everything was top notch. Sunday lunch is €26 plus 10% service. That's for 4 courses, there are some supplements if you want to go for steak etc. but there's enough... More

I visited this restaurant with colleagues during a business trip to Dublin. Excellent wine menu with a variety of superb international wines. Absolutely fantastic cuisine! Haven't eaten such incredible food in a long time and the service was fantastic. Definitely a top establishment in Dublin and worth visiting. I will be back!
