Had a family celebration meal here and ate from the Early Bird Menu (€27.95 for 3 courses with coffee). It was a very good meal with lots of variety on the menu too. We weren't rushed and had the table for nearly 3 hours with good intervals between courses. Starters were of generous portions and were so well presented on... More

Whoooooh ! Fantastic ! Food with the most incredible flavours, professional and polite staff. A beautiful dining experience. Goats cheese for starters, monk fish main course, mango & passion fruit dessert. Thank you and congratulations to management and staff. A positive revisit.

We went here because of the good reviews but we were slightly disappointed. Although the food was nice it was nothing special. It was overpriced and for €83 we got two main courses, two desserts, one bottle of still water for two, a bottle of beer and two teas, and two servings of veg which we were surprised were not... Off the beaten track, but an excellent place for a quiet meal with someone you care for. We had and excellent meal, and stick toffee pudding for dessert. Highly recommended for its excellent service, ambiance and great food.

My partner brought me here for my birthday dinner and was very happy for his choice. The food was really good and service was top notch too. I have quite a few food allergies but they didn't make me feel like a 'difficult customer' at all and changed the dishes to suit me. Overall a lovely experience and wouldn't mind... More

This was my 3rd visit to Dobbin's and it lived up to the memory of the first time so many years ago. The staff as well as the food make this restaurant special. Their unobtrusive attention and kindness to the diners is exemplary. This time I was treating my husband and 2 teens as I had vouchers for lunch. The... More

We came here as part of a group of around 24 for a birthday meal. Our hosts were attentive and welcoming, and the food was to die for! I'm not a vegetarian, but would highly recommend the taleggio dish for both veggies and non-veggies! However, all of our friends commented on the outstanding quality of all the dishes, so don't... Had a lovely meal in Dobbins recently. This is about the fifth time we've been here in the last couple years. It's a really nice cozy and friendly establishment that has been around for at least 35 years. The food is excellent and the service great. Would highly recommend this eatery for either a formal or very informal meal.
