Another excellent fine dining experience. Highly recommended. Great homemade bread. Delicate, fine and exclusive ingredients and flavours. Delicately smoked fish with fruit&ginger sauce. Brill. Pheasant breast is a treat. All well prepared and presented. A real pleasure to enjoy.

Located in the basement of a Georgian house on the north side of Parnell Square within easy walking distance of O'Connell Street and opposite the National Garden of Remembrance. Excellent food and very attentive staff made for a very enjoyable lunch. Given the prices it is a location for a special occasion. A limited but tasty vegetarian (not vegan) menu.... More

I went with a group of friends and all of us enjoyed Chapter One. I had the beef which was perfectly done. Considering there were 8 of us the staff was fantastic; warm, friendly and efficient. I would recommend Chapter One to anyone I know visiting Dublin.

We had a really lovely night. The food presentation was excellent as was the service around it. Really nothing to complain about. Looking forward or returning when we are Dublin again.

Have dined at Chapter One several times. As usual, service was efficient and pleasant. Food was delicious. Very good business dinner.

A first class restaurant offering friendly staff from booking throughout accompanied by terrific food providing value for its high standard. The veal and mackerel starters were delicious while the mains of duck and haddock were cooked to perfection with sublime taste combinations.A return visit would be a certainty so what more needs said!

Yes, the service is very pleasant but, at twice the price of most other restaurants in Dublin you have to ask yourself if you are getting good value for money or are paying for hype. Beef cooked for 14 hours sounds impressive but then you might realise that you are just paying over the top for the cheapest cut. A... More

This is by far one of the best restaurants in Dublin .However the area where it is located does not feel very safe. Once inside you know you are in the right location. The level of service and detail is second to none .Each course surpasses the previous .It could not be recommended highly enough

This was my first time eating at Chapter One, and, whilst it was a pleasant meal, in nice surroundings (although we were seated at the wrong size of table, which was massive for our small party of 4), it didn't quite match my expectations of a Michelin star experience. I visited with 3 others and we all really enjoyed our... More

Four adults had the pre-theatre menu on sat night. Very formal setting, nice surroundings but the feeling that one must be on their best behaviour at all times was slightly off putting. The constant topping up of water after each sip was very frustrating and only interrupted the flow of conversation rather than add to our enjoyment. Now the important... More
