We had a family birthday celebration here, and were very impressed by the excellent food and great staff. Dinner was served impeccably, and every course was perfect. Extras not on the menu were served without quibble, and the staff went out of their way to create a memorable evening. Dublin has nothing to match Chapter One. more

We had a fly-by lunch here, which was probably a mistake as a restaurant like this needs time dedicated to it. The place itself is refined and comfortable, with a feel of quiet quality about it. Service wa professional and attentive, and it's clear they take what they do seriously, as they should for this kind of restaurant. From the... more

Went to Chapter one in august for a my girlfriends birthday... There is little to quip about when it comes to chapter one. It is located out of the way which really adds to the fact that it is a hidden gem. This was my first visit and I was wowed as soon as I entered the restaurant. The service... more

Having finally secured a table, I was really excited about going to dine at Chapter One. Unfortunately it was a very big let down. The interior was lovely, loads of floor staff running about! Our starters were cold, overall the food lacked great taste/flavour.........we couldn't believe it. I dined in Nonna Valentino the previous nite, a lovely little place on... more

We ate on a busy Friday night. On arrival we were told the bar was too busy so would we go straight to our table. No issue here, in a way , but that was the last we heard from the senior hosting staff. Explanation of menue , presentation of same and general style of welcome was lacking. As two... more

having only been here once before for a pre theater dinner, we decided to treat ourselves for our wedding anniversary and go the whole hog. The hostess was fantastic and moved our seats when i explained it was our anniversary and we wanted a more secluded table - she must have passed this onto our waiter as at the end... more

We went to Chapter One for a business dinner in June 2009. There were 6 of us and we were ready to enjoy a dining experience. This is a very expensive restaurant. The Maitre D and the wait staff were quite snobbish and neglectful. We had to ask for a second piece of bread! However the worst thing is that... more
