This is beyond doubt my favourite restaurant. The combination of excellent service and superb food in a great atmosphere makes every trip to Chapter One special. I have eaten here for many years (even before the star) and it's still my restaurant of choice for special occasions. Any visitor to Dublin looking for a excellent meal should reserve a table... What a wonderful evening! Chef's table with wine pairings for 6 of us to celebrate a 55th birthday party. From the introduction by the maitre'd to the chef's attention to our dietary constraints, to Darrin's attention to our every single need - a WONDERFUL experience. Was it cheap? No. Was it worth every single cent - you betcha! A special... More

A group of 8 family and friends ate here on 12th September for my girlfriend's birthday. From my initial contact in making the booking to the final moments leaving the restaurant the service was outstanding. The food was wonderful every item on the menu was fully explained to us and cooked to perfection. The staff were fabulous, very attentive, friendly... More

Well you do have the leprechaun greeting you with lots of Blarney but once you get past that, it is all 5 star. My date and I started out in the bar with drinks then moved on to the four course dinner menu. We selected our wine while at the cocktail lounge and it was nice touch to have it... More

I like food, but I'm not pretentious, maybe that's why I do not believe this was decent food, good value or a particularly nice atmosphere to eat in. There were flowers in the soup. The Irish Coffee show is amazing though and the resulting coffee is one of the best I have ever had

What struck me about this restaurant (apart from the top notch food, service and atmosphere) was the 'unstuffy' approach of the staff who maintain an informal and friendly disposition towards their guests, whilst retaining that high level of professionalism one would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. Marco Pierre White said recently that what distinguishes a Michelin starred restaurant from... More

Was brought here by my then fiance (now husband) as part as my birthday present . From start to finish the entire dining experience was flawless . We were greeted in a very friendly manner and were given an area to sit for pre-drinks if we wished . We were also presented with some olives while we pondered over the... More
