I'm glad we didn't miss this wonderful restaurant!

Our Dublin plane arrived just in time for us to catch the bus to make our Chapter One reservation. I knew from the moment the gentleman at Chapter One came out to help us with our baggage that we were in for a special treat! We had the 2course lunch menu. The service was wonderful. They try too hard to give you a fancy meal, yet the food does not taste like anything. Dessert did not taste like anything, food was very bland. They hold you to a specific menu and there aren't many choices. Substitutions are not really available.

This was my second time to Chapter One. Both at the time of the pre-theatre menu allocated time slot. I have to say both times were absolutely amazing experiences. The price for this menu is €40 per person. And unlike other restaurants you are treated exactly like you would be if you were eating off the full menu. The food... More

Ate here on Thursday evening in a group of 12 people in the private dining room. Most of our group had eaten here before and were familiar and comfortable with the surroundings. After a pre-dinner drink, the Maitre D, Martin, invited us to be seated and casually introduced us to the Menu, mentioning favourites etc. Over the next 2 to... More

From the moment you walk in you know that this going to be something special. Service is faultless. We had the lunch six course tasting menu with matching wines. An opening course of savoury tapioca was a revelation. As I have an allergy, I was not able to take the lobster, but a duck sausage was provided instead and was... More

Had the 3 course dinner. Simply stated... Best meal ever. They have a Michelin star and they are absolutely worthy. Service, presentation, food all top shelf. Any quite reasonable for this level of dining.

we were hungry and rained on about to visit the Writer's museum and we ended in their restaurant to an amazing food experience, the welcome by the greeter was the best, they accommodated us with the tasting menu at 1.30 pm and we had an amazing culinary experience, preceding the literary one

Expensive, but worth it. Imaginative dishes across 4 amazing courses. It was the most expensive meal of our trip, but definitely the best. Make a reservation, as we got lucky when we tried to walk in.

I don't often eat at Michelin starred restaurants, but was recommended this place by a friend of mine who is from Dublin. The best meal I have ever eaten was at The Kitchen in Leith, so was looking forward to this place with positive comments we received from hotel staff/taxi drivers etc when mentioned. The place is very good, but... More
