Coming from Belfast where beautiful architecture and interiors are scarce, when you first enter the café it is impressive! The food here is nothing special but if you just want a place to stop for coffee and desert during a day of shopping, it's perfect! Nice, friendly staff with a section to take away a selection of cakes/buns and other... More

This was a must see on my list. We went for dessert and coffee and only slightly disappointed. I wanted the chocolate biscuit but they were out. I got the almond pear tart and it was delicious. The Irish coffee was the best. Service was very quick for such a busy place.

My partner and I were keen to visit Bewley's after reading and hearing much about its iconic status in Dublin. We stopped here on a rainy afternoon eager to partake in part of Irish history, but we were sadly left disappointed. I ordered a cup of tea and a 'freshly baked' scone which was hard, cold and emphatically stale; I... More

Great food but the service is a lot to be desired! We enjoyed the scones and the bagels with eggs. Lovely setting to enjoy the culture of Dublin and take a break from doing the sites.

We had heard a lot about Bewley's and decided that it was a must-do on our visit to Dublin. The decor and the general atmoshere of the place is wonderful.......if you don't get allocated, like we did, a table in a tiny enclosed area where you can't see the main part of the cafe and so don't get the chance... As we were there for lunch, I would rate it average. The place was packed (summer and Sunday). We reserved a table so there was no problem there. The lunch menu is not huge but anybody can find something. Although I ordered the big Nicoise salad as main course ...I am not sure I got it although I was told it's the... More

The setting takes you back to the 1920s with all the beautiful interiors. The meals are all varied and you have a good choice of cakes and desserts. Staff are very helpful and attentive. Prices are reasonable and food tasty and well presented.

This cafe is beautifully decorated with stained glass windows and wood decore. The breakfast and the lunches we had were excellent. A great place to visit.
