Great craic

Great pub, superb atmosphere, popped in for lunch good variety on menu and great sized portions - good variety of draught beers. It was only lunch and the pub was busy, but we found a table and settled down to enjoy the live music. If your in Temple Bar area pop in you won't regret it.

It's in Temple Bar so you'll have fun with loads of tourists but still - you can definitely have a very good time there! Good vibe, drinks and music!

Great bar atmosphere here in the Temple Bar area. They have live music and the place packs them in. The bathrooms were clean but what I didn't like is that they have a guy down there in the room with all of his perfumes and towels....just doing his thing providing a service that I don't need and hoping for a... Nice little bar in the Temple Bar area. Drinks slightly cheaper than the main bars in the area. Cosy, live music was on at the weekend when we were in there.

Popped in for a few drinks - really good selection of lagers, ciders and of course Guinness. Served by a lovely chap who's name we didn't get but really chatty, incredibly helpful and just a really refreshing attitude from a barman. Actually took time to stop and chat to us. Lovely decor inside, very homely feel to it. The bad... More

Absolutely loved my 21st birthday. One of the best weekends of my life surrounded by the friendliest punters and staff in a pub with fantastic atmosphere! From dancing with new friends to singing with one of the live acts, it will definitely be one to remember. Thanks for the craic! 🍀 🍻

I have been going to Dublin every year for many years and when i first went into The Auld Dubliner it was like 'a big warm hug'. The staff, food, live music atmosphere & craic r second to none! I now count the staff as friends & would encourage everyone to pay them visit when in the Temple Bar area.... More

Went there for dinner some years ago and since then I couldn't manage to find a cheescake half as good as the Bayley's one I had there. I can't wait to go once again! Plus the Early Bird menu had a very good quality/price ratio, the atmosphere was nice, warm and relaxing..at least till the traditional Irish band arrived. Then... More

My girlfriend and I went to the Auld Dubliner for dinner to celebrate her 25th birthday. The waiter seemed rude and uninterested and when our food came out, my girlfriends food was stone cold. She sent it back and had to wait half an hour for a new dish in which time, I had finished my meal. When the dish... More
