A great choice for lunch - the fixed price of EUR 23.95 for three courses has to be hard to beat! Even on a Tuesday it was almost full with diners arriving all the time. I've been there three times this year - my only complaint is the menu [lots of choice] hasn't changed in the past two years. Make... More

This place is always buzzing, it seems recession-proof and deserves that status. Good variety on the menu, very good value if one is inclined to go for the early service dinner. The Kerry lamb pie was excellent, as was my cheesecake pudding.

My wife and I went to Roly’s Bistro for lunch in Ballsbridge last week. It is one of my favourite places to dine in Dublin. The place was fairly buzzing on a Wednesday lunchtime as usual and people were still coming in even as we were leaving at around 3 pm! No shortage of customers here! It has been a... More

Had breakfast in Rolys this morning and food was excellent as was the service. Central location in Ballsbridge and very relaxing for Sunday morning breakfast.

Dropped in here last week as a guest of friends that were at the horseshoe. Seated at a table upstairs which was meant to seat 2. There were 4in our group! It was so cramped that everyone had to move their chairs when a waitress arrived at any of the surrounding tables! Meal was a poor attempt at cordon blue!... More

We were taken to Roly's for dinner by Irish friends after the RDS Dublin Horse Show- they had very good things to say about the bistro and we were very much looking forward to a nice dinner. I wasn't overly impressed with the menu and even less so with the wine list. My husband and I did not order off... More

Probably the best value restaurant for fine dining in Dublin, located next to the bridge in Ballsbridge its always full when we visit best book first, we prefer eating upstairs the choice of food is very good and extensive I would put it as Irish food with a twist, not too expensive but well worth going.

Having heard alot of great things about Rolys Bistro and never going for a sit down meal there before, I was really looking forward to the experience. The pro's: Everything on the menu seemed to be well sourced and prepared in house (sweets, bakery etc). It is good clean food and well executed. The front of house team are true... More

Next to the RDS, so great setting. Decoration ok. The courses looked really good but I think the goat cheese lacked flavor for instance....I'm afraid I made the wrong choices though as my partner thought his meal was delicious.... Good service.
