near the US embassy. take advantage of the early bird menu (until 730pm) very reasonable. be sure to try the brown soda bread, it is impeccable. service was very good. restaurant is very busy, so can be a bit loud. reservations suggested due to it's popularity. Very nice meal, had the famous Lamb pie. basically lamb stew in a crock... More

When you come back after one year you may expect things to go worse. This is not the case with Roly's Bistro a ;place for good food. In spite being in the middle of the week the restaurant was full of good dinner fans. I had a Fresh Dublin Prawn plate and the taste was great. Thanks, chef! A place... More

It is very difficult for me to find something new to say about an old favourite restaurant that I have enjoyed so very often, but then Roly’s manages always to find things to surprise me. For a start, the place is always buzzing at lunchtime: I cannot speak about dinner time as I have not been there then very often.... More

The food and service here is in general very good. We ate here (the restaurant section, not the cafe section) on two occasions while visiting Dublin. This is not a cheap night out, but well worth visiting if you are looking for a top notch meal. Best to make a reservation if you want to be sure of a table.

The food was really good, we ended up going there twice in our 4- day stay. Good service, everyone was very nice to us even though we had kids and the place was busy.

Ate our first Irish meal here. Food was good, service average, portions huge. I'm not sure that I'd recommend it other than as a place for a first night meal if your hotel is nearby.

We went for breakfast because it was close to the hotel. Service is slow, the food is passable and it's pricey. No reason to return. There are plenty of other choices nearby

We had arrived in Dublin early in the morning and by the time the evening arrived, we were tired and ready for a quick and good meal. Roly's Bistro did not disappoint. There are two options -- fine dining and more casual. We chose the causal option but still had a great selection and well done food. The risotto was... More

It's busy in here most weekends and I can see why as food is good value for money and it's kid friendly, was in here with my bf's sister's family and her two below 5 year-old children and it was good atmosphere! Had the breakfast eggs benedict with salmon and it was nice and fresh! Would definitely return to try... More
