I was here for lunch recently and the food was just delicious. Really fresh seasonal ingredients cooked amazingly well. The experience and the service were really good too, but for me it was the food and the flavour combinations that made the lunch for me. We had the cucumber starter- was so tasty and refreshing and all the hidden little... More

We dined here last week (lunchtime). We were very impressed with setting, service and of course, the fare. The freshly shelled peas, as part iof the soup du jour was so fresh and bursting with flavour. the duck was cooked to perfection and wonderfully presented. my dessert of goats curd and poached rhubard was out of this world. Fantastic all... More

Everyone who can, should experience this type of meal at least once. It was simply exquisite. The food was divine, the service attentive and theatrical, the ambience wonderful. We had the eight course tasting menu - though when we looked back over what we had, I'm pretty certain we got more than eight courses. Very importantly, we paired this with... More

We had the tasting menu which was absolutely delicious. Service was extremely attentive without it in any way making us feel uncomfortable. The wine list is immense and a little difficult to handle to be honest. Patrick Guilbaud came to talk to us at our table which is always a nice touch.

My sister booked us into this most beautiful restaurant as I had flown over to join my family from Switzerland for a pre-Mothers day celebration. We arrived a little late, and I apologised and was told not to worry and go relax. Have just realised it was actually Mr Guilbaud himself who reassured me! We had the 3 course lunch... More

I greatly enjoyed a Friday lunch with a friend in March 2014 at Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud. The restaurant was full. I have dined here many times over the past 15 years, and each time excellent service is delivered with excellent food. This visit was no exception. Stephane Robin (front of house) was very much in evidence and is a consummate... More

While staying at the Merrion Hotel for a weekend break we booked a table at the fantastic Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud. This is Ireland's only 2 Michelin star restaurant and we were really looking forward to the experience. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful inside with a nice relaxed atmosphere. The dress is smart casual but not fussy, some... More

Visited this restaurant for a Birthday Lunch recently. Overall it was an exceptional experience from start to end. We were made to feel very welcome and were not once rushed. The service is exceptional. The whole experience is like watching a show and everything is done to near military precision. The food was very tasty and when we left at... More

Extremely attentive staff and wonderfully presented food. We went for a lunchtime sitting and took our time over the 4 courses, never feeling rushed. We were celebrating a birthday and they presented us with a candlelit dessert with a very subtle touch. Really impressed by the service and welcome by management.
