Had lunch here in early June. So much bull. €296 for a three course lunch with the second cheapest white wine on the list. I was so hungry by 10 pm that I had to go to the local Chinese for something to eat. A Franco Irish rip off.

I had the lunch menu. Food was just ok. I had the chicken for main and some kind of bean dish for starters. Presentation of the food was great, but maybe at the expense of taste. I felt a bit claustrophobic from the waiters. They crowded around our table and interrupted our conversation to take orders. When I went to... More

Wonderful experience from the moment we walked in! As you would expect the service was second to none and the attention to details was exceptional! Lunch is now on my wishlist!

We wanted to start our Irish vacation with a memorable meal and Patrick Guilbaud's certainly provides that. As befits a two star Michelin restaurant food, presentation and service are simply impeccable. Whilst enjoying a cocktail before dinner and perusing the menu we decided to opt for the eight course degustation menu with wine pairings. We were treated as valued guests... More

I found myself in Dublin for half a day, waiting for a tour to start the next morning. I've been traveling for awhile and decided to treat myself to lunch at Ireland's only Michelin 2 star restaurant. What a great experience - as a solo diner, I am sometimes stuck away in a corner, but not here. I was treated... More

Guilbaud's offers a fantastic all-round dining experience. Lunch on our most recent visit was hugely enjoyable. As ever, the surroundings decorated with Sean Scully and Roderic O'Conor works is magnificent and sets the restaurant apart. The service throughout is perfect. The 3-course lunch is good value at 50euro (incl 3 courses, amuse, coffee, petit fours). I was little disappointed with... More

Second time visiting this restaurant and it lived up to our expectations again. The overall atmosphere is that you are a treasured client with attentive and friendly service and patient explanations of the food being served. Much has been said about the food already; we had the lunch menu at €50 and will almost certainly go for the menu degustation... More

We are not experienced fine diners, but wanted to try something special for our 2 year wedding anniversary. I booked a week in advance, and they were able to fit us in. We chose the four course degustation menu, which at 90€ seems like a reasonable price for a two starred restaurant. The food was perfect and the restaurant itself... More

Our first dinner here (wedding anniversary) we opted for the 4-course “surprise” menu (€90). I declined the matching wine option @ €80 per head. The Ribero del Duero I chose from the large wine list wasn’t available so the sommelier recommended a similarly priced Priorat (€115). I found it somewhat heavier than I’d have expected from a Ribero. Our 4... More

After dining in many Michelin Starred restaurants, I found Patrick Guilbaud 2 Michelin Star Restaurant in Dublin to be the finest of fine dining. Not only was it a wonderful dining experience, but the professional service and friendly hospitality of the Director; Stephane Robin and his team made it a truly memorable occasion. The bright modern elegance of the main... More
