I took my wife here for her birthday together with her sister and her partner. We had two courses each and we were all very satisfied. On conclusion of the meal we were offered chocolate truffles fro a large 'cigar box'. Staff very obliging and Patrick Guilbaud came out and greeted all diners which is a nice touch. I did... More

My 2nd visit to Gilbaud's.. Service is absolutely outstanding across the board, from the time you arrive to the time you leave..Their attention to detail is to be admired for sure.. Ambiance is excellent and dining in one of the booths is a particularly nice touch. Menu is extensive with plenty of options; the starters were extremely pleasant and well... More

Reserved for very special occasions because of the amazing prices but wow was it worth it. The food is made scientifically. That's metaphorical but I wouldn't be surprised if they had some ingenious apparatus in the kitchen. Dress formal and be careful how much wine you buy, it can easily double your cost. We will cherish the memory of this... More

The food here was excellent but the portions unfortunately rather small. I am diabetic and an hour after my meal I had to eat again to stop passing out. Great food, pity about the portion size.

What can I say - everything was as it should be. That might sound flippant but it's not. It is when you go to this style of restaurant that you are reminded that what passes for service in Ireland is a pale imitation of what it should. Staff friendly and professional. Room is calm and understated with subdued abstract paintings.... More

I have been to many restaurants and this was by far the best. It is well deserving of the 2 stars! The food is beautiful and like no other restaurant. The service is all part of the experience, the waiters are so helpful and extremely nice. I would highly recommend this place and I hope to be back soon!

We had lunch at Patrick Guilbaud's on Friday 9th January 2015 and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. It was my first time being in the restaurant and it ticked all of the boxes.

Ate here for my husbands 40 th birthday, from the time we entered it was a pleasure, the atmosphere was very special, We choose the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was exceptional, the staff amazing, and the food second to none! A bit pricey but for a special occasion it was perfect!

I've been a few times now and it has always been good. The service can feel a little over the top sometimes, but that's what you get at these establishments. I'm looking forward to coming back again soon.
