It's as good as chapter one. It's on a par with many top London restaurants. Food is divine. Service is formal but gracious. There were five of us there on a Saturday night and we had a wonderfully relaxing and engaging evening. It's pricey but the quality is there.

It is definitely one of the priciest restaurants in Dublin but the 2 Michelin Stars is well deserved. We did feel that the restaurant (which was food) does become a tad noisy when the evening wears on but then again, makes a fun atmosphere and I guess is not as 'stiff' as it is portrayed out to be. Went for dinner with my partner for her birthday last Saturday night having booked about 3 month's previously. The staff are predictably efficient and we arrived slightly early for an 8pm reservation. We were shown straight to our table as the lounge area was full, and were given the menus and wine list, which must rank as the largest anywhere!... More

All we can say is, if you can afford it, you will love it. The food and service doesn't get any better. Better value at lunch, as usual.

On the basis of our meal at Patrick Guilbaud, this restaurant is over-priced, overrated and over-starred by Michelin. The food was tasty but nothing spectacular. Portions were mean and presentation was unremarkable. Service was very fast all through the meal - too fast. Our petits fours were removed from the table and we were escorted to have our coffee in... My wife and I have just finished eating at this 2 star restaurant, where we impressed.? Not by a long shot. My wife is a vegitarian and there is a very limited selection to choose from, the waiter suggested the Halibut ( VEGITARIAN I said ) three dishes to chose from so one is the starter, and if you dont... As you will fall in love with the top gastronomy be prepared to give without limits. Professional yet very kind service. Acquainted with allergy problems such as , for example, gluten and lactose. By the way ask Mr Robin for their exquisite glutenfree bread. All dishes will send you into raptures. Surely the best restaurant in Dublin

We had lunch as a family to celebrate a special birthday: a party of 12 from young (and older) children to grandparent. All had a fantastic time. We had the tasting menu, in a separate dining room. The food was absolutely first rate - we expected first rate, but it surpassed expectations - and the experience also had the x-factor... More

I don't know how many times I told them I was vegetarian (well I do, 3) I ordered only vegetarian food. i was given a lobster bisque as an amuse boushe. This is just one example of the lack of attention to detail that I would expect from a two star restaurant. Don't get me wrong, we did enjoy our... More
