Great atmosphere. Great cider.

Liked it so much the first time, we came back for seconds. Bartenders were chatty and knowledgeable of the city. Gave us great tips on things to see and do. Cider was ice cold. Bread pudding was fantastic!

We came in here on a busy Friday night in November and the place was packed and buzzing. We were lucky to find a table for our party of five and enjoyed the chance to relax amongst the lively atmosphere. It felt like the crowd was predominantly locals enjoying an end of the week drink, rather than a tourist pub,... More

This popular Dublin establishment is near to shopping and the sights. We enjoyed the Guinness, Irish stew, and the atmosphere. Overall it was a fun place. But, be wary of the salads. They have a Greek salad on the menu, but it looked more like a pile of mixed vegetables.

We stopped here for lunch after touring Trinity College. The building is quite large, which can be troublesome as it was for us. We came in and sat upstairs, there were a couple other mid sized groups upstairs and we were sitting by the stairs, yet the waitstaff continuously walked by us without asking if we needed anything. I ended... More

I had the lamb stew. There were only a few pieces of lamb and it had not much flavor. The soda bread with which it was served was good. Good service.

Popped here for the last pint of Guinness before heading to airport. I was served by a very nice bartender who showed us a free table and brought my pint over (I'm a wheelchair). Duke has definitely the atmosphere of a genuine Irish pub.

This pub has traditional fare along with a great literary past. Dinner and a pint of guiness hit the spot.

I was looking for something authentic Irish, and while walking with my friend, we noticed this pub. The service was quick and friendly, the Guinness and the Irish stew very good :)

Sorry but I don't like giving poor reviews but the food here isn't anything special. There are much better pubs to eat in if you look closely enough.
