We stopped here for a quick lunch on our first day in Ireland. Had our first Irish Guinness here and some Beef & Guinness stew which was great! Waitress was very helpful and the restaurant atmosphere was nice.

Whenever I visit Dublin I always find myself at The Duke. I usually just go for a drink, then those delicious smells come floating out from the carvery and I have to grab some food too. The best time to eat here is lunch time as the place doesn't get too crowded, so you get served pretty quick and you... More

Nothing spectacular. We squirreled a spot upstairs for dinner. Lamb shank and fish and chips. Both were tasty but nothing spectacular. Service was friendly. Probably worth it if we were on the pub crawl.

Had dinner at the Duke and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Reasonably priced and good service. Off Grafton St., so it is a little quieter.

Dropped in for a bite and a pint. A large pub with a very friendly staff. They're all attentive and constantly looking to help. First time I visited had the Thai chicken, yes I know not exactly Irish! Was tasty, not spicy. The next time I had something more traditional, the Irish stew. Food was flavorful with pepper added. Portion... More

The Duke is a good sized pub and carvery with all the typical ales and a very good selection of hot and cold foods served by a very friendly and efficient staff who actually go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and insure your stay in Dublin City is pleasant. Wish we had more time to spend... More

Good Beer, OK service. Interesting architecture and atmosphere. We didn't stay for food. Just a couple of Guinness. Most enjoyable.
