Visited for a pint of beer and tried the "The Duke Burger". Service was attentive, very friendly and fast. I was positively surprised of the burger, everything was fresh and nicely prepared. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had in a pub in Dublin so far! The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed, definitely a place to recommend!

Sunny in Dublin, you can sit on the small terrace outside, and just watch busy Dublin pass by while you enjoy Dublin´s finest drinks of many sorts. When hungry, you can just pop inside The Duke to find plenty of space to sit down small or large groups, and enjoy very good traditional Irish food.

We arrived on a busy lunch time, a party of 6, but we were made to feel welcome and seating was soon found for us all. The Staff were very helpful and friendly spending time to have a joke with us. The food and liquid refreshments were excellent.

Had a couple of swifty's in here not too long ago, nice place, rather relaxed, easy going atmosphere, can't go wrong, nicely situated just off Grafton Street.

Popped in here on a Sunday evening, after happening to come across it. Wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. A nice, friendly atmosphere in a relaxed bar. Would definitely visit again.

We visited here once in October and returned this weekend in March on our second visit back to Dublin! Friendly and welcoming staff, always up for a chat! Food is lovely and the staff go above and beyond to make the visit enjoyable! Tucked off Grafton Street, the location is excellent!

I think the other reviews have pretty much hit the nail on the head with this great little find. Tucked away off Grafton Street this charming pub delivers on all counts with friendly and helpful staff and simple but great tasting food: the Irish stew was superb! I usually struggle with menu choices because of allergies and intolerances but not... More

We arrived in Dublin after an overnight flight from the states. After checking into our hotel and resting a bit, we met friends in our hotel lobby. John suggested The Duke after we visited a couple of museums. We were a party of six with two young girls. We immediately were greeted and seated close to the entrance by the... More
