Lebanese comfort food

Wrap yourself in a blanket of Dublin's best quality Lebanese food. Large portions, excellent variety, each mini starter sample is a new delight. Staff are friendly, decor is dated but I swear you won't care. Rumour has it they are opening Moroccan restaurant downstairs. Bring it on.

You can tell they've been here for ages, as the decor hasn't progressed with the times. The place also is reminiscent of more Mediterranean countries. But the food is really nice Libanese cuisine with the standard staples included hummus, salads and chicken. Very tasty. And we've never had trouble getting a table at the weekends.

We had a good dinner here on one of the 4 nights we were in Dublin. The food and service were very good. If you are a red wine drinker we recommend you try their house wine, the Lebanese red.

I've been to this restaurant several times and each time has been better than the last. Friendly service and the food is just amazing! Highly recommended!

We had a dinner on a Friday evening in July 2015, arrived at around 9pm. The waitress was new (she said), and she was not able to tell us any useful info regarding the food, so she had to call the manager! Also, the info she provided on the food were not correct. The food was ok, but very small... More

first time visitors to this restaurant and would definitely come again and would highly recommend if you are looking for something different to the usual Thai, Chinese or Indian mainstream dinners. we ordered the meal for two and the table was full of dishes of so many delicious foods. the traditional dessert was lovely also.

Near Temple Bar area is the Cedar Tree restaurant. We went for the 10.95 For 2 course lunchtime special. My wife had the Taboulleh starter and I had the Arabic bread pieces, including very fine mince meat, with a salad. These were both nice, but I generally prefer my Taboulleh with a lot more bulgar wheat . The main courses... More

We had lunch at The Cedar Tree. Nice atmosphere and excellent friendly service! The hummus was a good consistency ...but a bit under spiced for our taste....same applies to fool. The main courses were quite good...beef shawarma spicing and sides were great, although the meet was a bit stringy and tough. The spiced Chicken kofta was excellent...tender chicken with great... I never ate any Lebanese food, so this was the first time @ the Cedar Tree. I really liked the food. They brought us all small plates/bowls with different vegetables and meat, it was really delicious. This was all accompanied with some pita-bread, which was also very tasty. Nice place to visit with friends, you can share all your food... More
