Fab food

I love this place, the food is fresh, tasty, different. I had halloumi and hummus, both fab. Service is friendly. Our tempranillo was delicious. There was a belly dancer (fun!) though the music was a bit loud.

We had the 'early bird' vegetarian mezes menu available from 4.30pm, €18 per person for two sharing. In quality and quantity it was similar to what we've eaten in London, and better value than any other restaurant we looked at in the Temple Bar area. 10-11 kinds of meze included falafel, hummus, tabouleh, chick pea with tomato, and superb baba... Very nice, welcoming folk, delicious fresh food excellent value; would without a doubt visit again. Ireland can be a little damp - no doubt - but this restaurant wants to keep you inside what ever is going on outside. All very fresh, could have spent much more time than was available...

This restaurant offers delicious Lebanese cuisine and is a very busy place where I recommend to book a table ahead of time. We were lucky since we were only in 2 and got a table without a reservation. The service is fast, not the most friendly, but very efficent.

Three years ago I was in Dublin for five nights and ate at this restaurant four of those five nights. The shish tawook was succulent, generous, fresh and tasty. The rice was plump and steaming hot. I couldn't wait to go back. This trip was a huge disappointment. We waited 15 minutes for someone to take a drink order. I... More

Couldn't decide between so many different places in this area. Decided to try something new and went for this Lebanese place. Both chose set menu and 5 mins after we were served with hundreds of different tapas snacks. Almost all were really nice and full of flavour. The waitress was also very chatty and helpful. Meal was surprisingly very fulfilling.... More

We happened upon The Cedar Tree and thought we'd try the early door menu. I've never had such fantastic value for money. The food was totally delicious and the portions huge! The service was great too and we were happy to accept recommendations from the menu - which were spot on! We will definitely be returning.

Stopped by here for a quick lunch before heading to the airport. The food was tasty and good value with pleasant service. It began to get busy just as I was leaving but it looked like the staff were coping fine with service.

I went there with a friend on a Friday evening. We had not booked a table, but we were accomodate anyway in a nice table. We ordered a Mezze which was superb: a lot of different flavours and generous portions. The service was very attent. I will definitely go back.

This was one of the best meals we have ever had! The food was delicious, exciting and expertly cooked. There are a wide range of different dishes, to cater to any pallet. We had perhaps more than 10 different dishes and every one was as delectable as the last. The staff were truly lovely and cared about our dining experience.... More
