Spotted this restaurant by chance and decided to go in for their lunch option of starter, main and soft drink for €10.95, very reasonable for Dublin. The restaurant wasn't overly busy but had a few people at tables. We have houmous with mince (huge portion) and vine leaves (tiny portion) to start and kafta chilli and chilli chicken for mains... We received a lovely 100€ gift voucher from our friends Patrick and Barbara Comerford for our wedding some time ago. As we hadn't meet for some time we invited them to the cedar tree to share a meal with us and to use the voucher. I booked a table for four and asked if they would accept a voucher in... More

Not much to look at but if you're hungry and want a tasty meal with pleasant service, this is the place. Recommended dishes: lentil soup, fried halloumi, grilled quail and the spicy Lebanese sausage. The location is very convenient to central dublin

Fantastic freshly prepared dinner with outstanding service! Attentive but not intrusive wait staff, lovely and friendly welcome, delicious dinner with flavors I'm dying to try again, sadly will have to wait until November return.

A small intimate restaurant with friendly and efficient service. We went for an early dinner and the restaurant quickly filled up. We chose the mezze and what a selection! More and more dishes kept on coming! A great variety of appetisers, all very tasty, and nice house wine too. My only gripe was that we needed a larger table! Very... More

This place was the best food I had in Dublin. The soup was fabulous! Great lamb meatballs in Lebanese sauce. Nice lunch special. Go!

We love this place - the service is really friendly and very helpful if you are unfamiliar with any of the menu (although you should just go with the banquet - amazing!). The food is fantastic with great variety and authentic flavours and the restaurant itself is comfortable and in a handy location. Definitely good value for money - we... More

Have been here for dinner maybe twice a year for the last few years and have always left feeling stuffed and happy. The food is always good and the portions are giant - one of the mezzes comes in two courses so after eating a vast selection of small dishes they then bring out the 'main' course, meat and rice... I ate in this restaurant last night. The staff were very friendly and the food was served quickly. The food was tasty, but not spectacular. For what it cost, I would say it was average value for money. No sign of the belly dancer mentioned in other reviews! But I think I am happy about that!!

My wife and I really enjoyed this restaraunt. It's a small place near Grafton St with great decor and beautiful mosaic's on the wall. The food and service were excellent! Highly recommended!
