We have tasted Asian food in many restaurants in Dublin but no place like this one makes us want to come back for more culinary delights. They deliver on flavors and generous portions. We were served by Nasir who made us feel very welcome, gave us plenty of guidance and served us with a few delicious sweet treats in the... More

We ate here for dinner on our last night in Dublin. We enjoyed an order of poppadums with dips for an appetizer. While I really enjoyed my lamb karahi, my husband wished his chicken masala with garlic was spicier (in hindsight, he should have ordered his regular order of madras.) An accidental order of keema naan (stuffed with minced lamb)... More

Had a meal at Ambala last week with a friend. The food was delicious, especially the Chicken Tikka Masala. Our server, Nasira, was a great host with complimetary treats and tasters. Would highly recommend if you like Indian food.

Had a meal here recently with work colleagues one of who had been before. Top notch food and helpful staff. Not a place you would go for s lingering meal as there us no ambience, but for decent food and value this is the place to go. Its a dry house no alcohol available but the do serve non alcoholic... This place is the business, friendly staff and it's a family run restaurant but the thing i really like about it is is the CONSISTENCY of the food cos in most other places you'd get a great curry one week and a mediocre one the following but this place does a great Madras or Garlic Chilli or whatever every time!!... The meal was top notch, the service was very good, staff very polite. The only down side would be the lack of alcoholic beverages which was a problem for one of my party. Eat here on a voucher which was excellent value.

My boyfriend and I went there for dinner tonight. We have been to this restaurant a few times and we've always had a great experience. The staff are very good and the food is amazing, it's by far one of the best Indian restaurant in Dublin. We love it. Keep it up guys.

I've walked past this place many many times and wondered about it. For no particular reason last Saturday my wife and I walked in for dinner. We're so glad we did! The best meal I've had in ages. If you love food from Pakistan or even India then you'll probably really like this place. We had chicken served with rice... More

Went for dinner and the place looks more like a cafe and deli than a restaurant. The service was good. The food is Indian/Pakistani/Asian with many delights including the sweets. It's also muslim owned and no alcohol is served. Non alcoholic beers are available. We had tasty starters (lamb samosa and shami kebab) and enjoyable mains (lamb balti and lamb... More

We went to Ambala recently for dinner and were blown away by the friendliness of the staff who couldn't do enough for us (Nasir in particular!). The menu is great and we got some brilliant recommendations from the staff. We were so stuffed from our starters and mains that we didn't have room for any of the delicious looking desserts... More
