My partner came across this restaurant while searching for Italians in the Temple Bar area and I'm extremely glad he did! The food was delicious, well portioned and complimented by great wine. But what made the restaurant really stand out was the service, the waiter was extremely helpful and friendly, making suggestions to ensure that we had a lovely meal.... More

My husband and I trawled round Dublin looking for this place after reading reviews on Tripadvisor, after our visit we wondered what all the fuss was about. We were seated upstairs above the main door opening, it was a bitter cold December night and the place was freezing. The place was 1/4 full and a table across from us all... More

Found this restaurant by chance, but felt I needed to write a review as it was so good. Very good menu for a very reasonable price.

We find this place while especially looking for an italian restaurant. All staff seems are italian which makes you feel "I am at right place to eat italian". Food quality is great. Avarage cost is about 30-35 euro per person for 2 course + glass of wine. Although it says cafe, it is a proper restaurant upstairs.

On a cold January Saturday afternoon we decided lunch should be an Italian, after checking Tripadvsor we marched on to “Il Vicoletto” disappointed to find it closed until evening time, however on the same street is “Caffe Italiano” we agreed just to give it a go, we were all delighted with this funky little place downstairs, they have a larger... Went with my partner on 29 Dec, what a great little restaurant. Situated right across the H'apenney Bridge from Temple Bar thus in a perfect location, the food was outstanding, the wine menu top notch and the atmosphere pleasant. A great way to start an epic night in Dublin City!

have been there a couple of times for lunch recently and liked a lot. The atmosphere is nice, the staff friendly and the food good. Eventually a real Italian cuisine, with simple dishes made with fresh ingredients. The cannolo as dessert is a must. well done folks and see you soon again.
