Best Cafe in Dublin

This lovely place in Harolds Cross never lets us down, service is great, a very good barista for coffees and children's "babycinos", and food always very fresh and well cooked. Among my favourites the florentine eggs, and the falafel. Keep up the great work and thank you!

This is our local coffee shop and we love it. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. There are lovely homemade cakes and you can also get nice takeaway lunches.

This is a great cafe!. The breakfast is always really really good. It can sometimes get extremely busy on the weekend though.

Coffee at The Black Apple was a lovely treat this morning, we were welcomed with smiles from friendly staff members and seated without delay. I was surprised when I read the menu for breakfast, it was vast and varied and I was so sorry I was not hungry enough to try anything other than coffee and toast. I am planning... More

The Black Apple is the gem of Harold's Cross. I've been to this restaurant many a time, and I always have a great meal. I personally recommend the salmon sandwich, and you have to try the brownies! Great staff, delicious food, reasonable prices. What else could you want?

I love this café. Everything about it. The staff are fantastic – super friendly and genuine. The food is superb. I always find it hard not to order the beefburger because it is so flippin good but when I do venture away from it (when I’m being all ‘healthy’ like and not going for the heaviest thing on the menu!)... A friend and I had a delicious lunch at the Black Apple Café yesterday. The staff could not have been friendlier or more attentive and there was a really nice selection on the menu - all choices were very good value and the portions were huge. We wish that we had had room for dessert as there was a huge... More

I have been here a few times. The food is magic - loads of it and very tasty. The desserts are simply magic. Staff are friendly and chatty. I have been here a few times.

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast sitting out in their little courtyard area at the back of the cafe. It helped that it was sunny but it was not just the weather than led to such a pleasant experience. The service was very good as was the food. We will definitely come back and I have recommended it to others in... More
