A good solid local cafe

Visited here sometime ago for a mid afternoon pit stop and it really didn't register. Last week had tea and carrot cake one afternoon and it was very good. Came back for lunch with family and food was very good. Don't agree with one review that high lighted poor ingredients - we had a toasty that... read more

I wonder if I'm being a little harsh with my 3 stars...but let me explain. There were many things I liked about this little cafe. The staff, for one, were very helpful and friendly (plus points). The cafe, although small and a bit pokey, was bright and had plenty of high chairs (plus points). The menu was lunchtime solid -... More

While not in the City Centre it's worth the trip to the suburbs for this hidden gem. Great for breakfast or lunch & even for coffee/tea & a cake Highly recommend

This is a really homely cafe with the friendliest staff imaginable. Great value and the brunch choice is huge with loads of veggie options too. Get there early to avoid disappointment, and there's a gorgeous outdoor seating area off the street too. The food is delish!

We woke up late, so we decided to have a brunch near home. We saw the reviews of the Black Apple and we decided to try it. Nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and lovely brunch menu, I found it very difficult to choose just one option!! When I finally decided what to take, I didn't regret it! It was... More

Only discovered this place recently! A magic gem tucked away in Harold's Cross. Best breakfast in Dublin and the service is absolutely outstanding. Cannot recommend highly enough!

This lovely place in Harolds Cross never lets us down, service is great, a very good barista for coffees and children's "babycinos", and food always very fresh and well cooked. Among my favourites the florentine eggs, and the falafel. Keep up the great work and thank you!

This is our local coffee shop and we love it. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. There are lovely homemade cakes and you can also get nice takeaway lunches.

This is a great cafe!. The breakfast is always really really good. It can sometimes get extremely busy on the weekend though.
