I 've eaten here several times now and have never had a bad meal. The fare is Middle Eastern with large portions. My starter is usually their falafel with , if in a big group, some shared humus (mouth-watering). Shish chicken - a beautifully barbecued chicken kebab - or Lamb Chilli Meshwe which has a sauce ( mild, medium or hot... More

I really liked everything about this cafe , the food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly and cheerful, I liked the music there and I didn't realize that the owner is an Egyptian until I met him which made me happy as I am an Egyptian too. I only rated as very good cause I didn't like the... More

The predecessor to this restaurant, Keshk, was one of my favourite spots in the area. I was disappointed to learn that while this spot seems to be based on the original it is not nearly as good. A few minutes in we were asked to switch table to make room for a larger group. I got humus to start which... More

This was a short walk from the Doubletree Hotel where we were staying. The food was good, plentiful; service was excellent. The lamb was particularly good and properly cooked. Try the mint tea. They don't sell alcoholic beverages but have zero corkage for drinks you bring in. Iregret that we ate so well for starters and mains that we had... More

Just had lunch in Alladin’s Cafe, two-course for just over 10e. Falafel starter in delicious greens and lehini sauce with humus and pita bread (almost enough for a full course!) followed by chicken Shawarma in Lebanese wrap with home-made chips. Absolutely delicious. This is fabulous food and great service. Although the waitress was on her own and the place quickly... More

Just around the corner from Doubletree Hilton Hotel is this cosy, friendly restaurant. A bonus is that you can bring your own wine (bottle shop just a couple of doors away). The food is brilliant, well presented and tasty and the service is excellent. If you are looking for a good restaurant in this part of town, you cannot go... More

We were a party of four on a Thursday night. I have lived in Egypt and the Middle East for many years so I know a bit about Egyptian food. At Alladin's the waitress was very attentive. The service was friendly and very efficient. We tried four different starters and four different main courses. I can vouch the different dishes... More

We live nearby and love the former restaurant which was in this location. I bought a voucher deal on one of the popular local sites when we saw it online, and thought we'd try it out, as it's similar cuisine. I rang early on a Monday to book a table of 6 people for 7.30pm. The lady said they had... More

I would give zero stars if I could. I walked in with my party (total of four of us) and the restaurant was not very busy. We were not acknowledged when we walked in. Eventually, we were sat down. The first thing the waitress told us was that they don't accept credit card, only cash. So one of the guys... More
