This was my second visit to Greenhouse (having tried and failed to get a table on a number of other occasions). A group of 7 had the 5 course tasting menu, and the positive reaction was universal (incl 4 guests from out of town). Really tasty fine dining. Space was a little tight as the restaurant was full, but food... More

I visited the Greenhouse last night as a surprise for my other half's birthday. He's been dying to go for some time. I've been many times before on business mainly but it's been a while since I have been. In my opinion, it's improved even more, both in terms of service and the food. Michael has refined the flavours of... More

Having been to Gregans Castle for a long weekend and experienced chef Mickael Viljanen's at its best we thought this might even top it. We were sadly disappointed, we had the 5 course meal with the addition of the cheese course, selected wines and port, with a bill over 330 euros. Unfortunately though the food was good it wasn't spectacular,... More

Enjoyable experience but pricey. Food and presentation was excellent. Good variety on wine list. Recommend for a special occassion.

For a restaurant of this supposed renown in Dublin what a complete shambles. From the start the cramped space leaves one on tenterhooks. Then the inane , inept service - impolite , rushed - the opening of the expensive wine out of sight of the table behind the counter ! Then the pouring of the wine without a napkin and... More

This was a vacation for the wife and I, but having managed manufacturing facilities in England-Wales-France and visiting every quarter, I asked three of my previous employees where they eat in Dublin and Westport. All three highly recommend The Greenhouse for Dublin. There was little chance they would risk steering a previous boss wrong, and, they did not. The Greenhouse... More

I have eaten in many a Michelin star restaurant (Ireland & UK)- this is by far the best food and best value. Chapter one's food would be a good comparable. In my opinionI I would rate this restaurant over the other Michelin star restaurants in Dublin.

Will definitely be back.. Not cheap but worth every cent. Fantastic food and good portion size. Far beyond our expectations and a step above similar fine dining restaurants in the area.

The 5 course, chef's choice, tasting menu began with delightful amuse bouches of wild boar and other tasty bites. We had courses of foie gras, mackerel, cod, and Scottish grouse. The quality ranged from excellent to divine (foie gras and the grouse). Service was impeccable and seamless. THE best meal we've had in Ireland (Dublin, Galway, Dingle) so far in... More
