Top Notch

Must be a Michelin candidate. Opted for the surprise tasting menu with complementary wines. No course disappointed nor did the service. Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

We attended for dinner to celebrate a special occasion. Atmosphere: The decor is dark and bordering on dated, with tables aligned to maximise the minimal space available in the small room. There was no atmosphere whatsoever. Staff were efficient if somewhat overbearing (we were asked for our order 3 times within 15 minutes of being seated and felt rushed in... More

We had lunch. It was amazing and each mouthful was superb. Staff were friendly and very efficient. The atmosphere was relaxing and there was an interesting mix of diners. We were in Chapter One earlier in March for dinner and enjoyed that but I must say we preferred the Greenhouse food. It was cleaner on the palate and the flavours... More

This kitchen displays some serious cooking worthy of a michelin star, that it doesn't yet have. A travesty indeed, given that the food displays this level of creativity and vibrant flavours! The meal is littered with exquisite details: the amuse and butter served on black marble adds a nice touch of luxury. For all this, the lunch menu represents excellent... More

I arrived on Saturday for my lunch (reservation made 4 weeks earlier),for my husband's 40th birthday. We had our baby daughter in a buggy with us. We arrived early. The table was ready. However, we were not welcome with the baby. At the entrance, when I asked about a highchair I was told there was none & that there was... More

Genuinely the best Restaurant in Ireland - just sublime. Its small so early booking is advisable but so worth it - the Chef has such a great mind - the food looks and tastes divine.

We took the "Surprise Tasting Menu" which were five surprise dishes from the kitchen. This was one of the finest meals I have ever had in my life. It was honestly that good. Not a big fan of the décor in the place, but the service was outstanding. While the meal was pricey for my pocket, one gets what one... More

Went here for the first time recently on a Saturday night, where we had the surprise tasting menu, which is the only option on a Friday and Saturday. I had been told that when booking. Food, service, ambience all first class. This is not a restaurant for casual or spur of the moment eating - the food is too good... More

A new, surprise 5 course dinner tasting menu attracted us back again to this quality restaurant. Although each course differed from those we had on other visits the outstanding taste level was the very same. Each course had a personality of its own with the center piece being augmented with complimentary additions. It is testimony to the skill and expertise... More

We had a very enjoyable meal on a Saturday evening. It was a five course surprise menu and I also went for the wine matching. Not every wine was to my taste but they matched the food well and were very interesting. I have a tendency to stick to my favourite regions so it was refreshing to get some new... More
