Unique Flavors

Great place to stop off after wandering the local pubs for dinner. Very unique and delicious flavors. A little expensive but worth it.

Having been to Dingle and Killarney earlier in the summer we had to visit the Dublin shop. The ice cream is gorgeous, really interesting flavours. I had a Murphy's mingle which was lovely!! The only thing was the staff were not giving out any samples!!!

Great selection of classics and new creations. One great choise was the sea salt icecream. This is one of those shops that keeps you coming back, and make you want to do jet another weekend trip to the city. Highly recommended!

Great flavors with a unique Irish twist, friendly staff who know their product, prices . . . well, sure, it's a bit on the high side, but this isn't some chain peddling the usual stuff. The product is of high quality as you can learn for yourself via extensive sampling. On my first visit a few months ago, they were... More

Fantastically creamy ice cream! We walked by and tasted a sample thinking that was all we would need since we had just ate a big meal. Before we knew it, we were splitting a medium cup of dingle :) We had the sea salt and espresso. Both were delightful and right on as far as flavor goes. The service was... More

I love this little ice cream shop! I've been to the one in Dingle also, the original branch, and I have to say they've done a great job of bringing the quaint charm of their seaside town origins to the city centre. All flavours are delicious but all time favourite is the sea salt ice cream - it seriously doesn't... More

Went to Murphys two evenings in a row on my recent visit to Dublin. The ice cream is amazing, great range of flavours with the choice of cone or tub. The butterscotch and Irish coffee flavours are really good! The staff are really friendly and helpful, there is even an area for taste testing the range of ice creams.

First reason I fell in love with Murphy's: they will let you sample every single flavor in the store if you want to. They are continuously giving out samples, even if you are already standing on line to buy. Is that cool, or what? Second reason is the quality of the ice cream. I don't know what it is about... Walking by, we saw a big queue, so thought it must be good ice-cream. It is, great choice, real ice cream too, not the modern rubbish, friendly entertaining staff, something for everyone, and location wise, you're sure to pass by, so stop off!
