This place had awesome, fresh pies (ours literally just came out of the oven!) for great prices (7.95 euros for a pie and drink or 9.95 euros for a pie and beer). You also get your choice of side - mashed potatoes or mushy peas. It's a great, quick place to eat but it's not typical "fast food". We both... More

The Pieman cafe is a great spot! It's situated in the middle of temple bar, while this is usually a tourist trap area, Pieman is a must visit! The quality of food is superb, the cost is amazing less then 10 euro for a pie, mash, veg AND a drink?? Yes please! If you somehow aren't stuffed after your meal... More

It is a pity that I had not discovered this place earlier. I'd been in Dublin for a while, but had never come across it until the end of my trip. I love potpies, and it is definitely worth a stop, if you're in the mood for an cheap meal. It is a small establishment, and there isn't much space... More

A real cheap eat (considering your'e in Dublin) that will leave you feeling filled and satisfied. The idea is simple, pie, mash (superb) and gravy but sometimes that is all you need. They have half a dozen or so pies on offer and if you want a little more you can add the mash and gravy (leaving you with a... More

We went early Monday evening. Its quite small inside but we got a table as it was quiet. We had the beef and guiness, steak and pepper sauce and chicken and mushroom pie. All were served with gravy and mash. They had run out of mushy peas and my choice of steak and mushroom pie had all been sold out.... More

So, in a city with a seeming 10euro minimum on any sort of eatery, a home cooked pie and mash with gravy and a locally brewed ale for 8 euros was tremendous. The young lady who served us was lovely and the quality of the pie was unquestionable. After a short discussion, we concluded it was in fact the best... More

Love this place. Great selection of pies, regularly updated menu, gravy to die for, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Get WiFi soon and it's then perfect!

?7.95 for a beef Guinness pie with mashed potatoes, gravy and a soft drink. A filling and delicious pie for a good price. Perfect when you don't want to shell out over ?10 for dinner!

This was my favorite place that I ate in Dublin. Located in Temple Bar, the prices are incredibly reasonable. For 10 euro you get an individual serving pie, a side, gravy, and a craft beer. I liked the place so much that I went back twice over the course of three days, and if I ever make it back to... More

Having spent some time in Australia and NZ where pies are the national obsession we have found it nigh on impossible to find anywhere comparable in Ireland to some of the amazing pies we tasted on our travels. We were excited to stumble across the pieman cafe and eagerly went inside to sample their goods. My husbands chicken and leek... More
