We were impressed with the selection of freshly baked pies... all individual portions, with an offering of mashed potatoes and gravy or "mushy" peas. Tried the peas for my first time. Guess what, they are just mushed peas!! lol Delicious and affordable lunch in downtown Temple Bar!

The staff are very helpful and friendly but everything else is just OK. They seem a bit disorganised but very apologetic. Pie was OK. Nice pastry but it could have done with more meat.

The title says it all. I came and got a chicken mushroom pie, but it came with mashed potatoes and it was a feast. So good on a cold day.

Try the chicken, mushroon and Jameson pie = YUM! Fulfilling yummy pies under 10 euros - can't go wrong with that! (^_^)*

We spotted the Pieman Café while eating across the street in another establishment. When we returned to Dublin before we flew home we made sure to give it a try. They close a bit early (I think it was 8 or so) but we made it just in time. My husband had the beef and guiness and I had the... More

This place had awesome, fresh pies (ours literally just came out of the oven!) for great prices (7.95 euros for a pie and drink or 9.95 euros for a pie and beer). You also get your choice of side - mashed potatoes or mushy peas. It's a great, quick place to eat but it's not typical "fast food". We both... More

The Pieman cafe is a great spot! It's situated in the middle of temple bar, while this is usually a tourist trap area, Pieman is a must visit! The quality of food is superb, the cost is amazing less then 10 euro for a pie, mash, veg AND a drink?? Yes please! If you somehow aren't stuffed after your meal... More

It is a pity that I had not discovered this place earlier. I'd been in Dublin for a while, but had never come across it until the end of my trip. I love potpies, and it is definitely worth a stop, if you're in the mood for an cheap meal. It is a small establishment, and there isn't much space... More

A real cheap eat (considering your'e in Dublin) that will leave you feeling filled and satisfied. The idea is simple, pie, mash (superb) and gravy but sometimes that is all you need. They have half a dozen or so pies on offer and if you want a little more you can add the mash and gravy (leaving you with a... More

We went early Monday evening. Its quite small inside but we got a table as it was quiet. We had the beef and guiness, steak and pepper sauce and chicken and mushroom pie. All were served with gravy and mash. They had run out of mushy peas and my choice of steak and mushroom pie had all been sold out.... More
