Dinner

We enjoyed dinner and a few pints here as a family on a weeknight while vacationing in Ireland. The pub was recommended by our hotel, otherwise we would not have found it on our own. So glad we did. Great location, great looking place, great potential. They even appear to know how to run a business....but it's all let down by the staff. This could and should be a friendly local where your made to feel welcome. It's the opposite unfortunately. Wish they'd try harder.

The quality of food here is fantastic! There's a really friendly atmosphere here and the wait staff are very helpful and caring about their customers. A tad expensive if you're dining on a budget, but you'll definitely get your money's worth of delicious food. Wait times can be a little longer if you're ordering meat dishes as everything seems to... More

I used to live near Fagan's years ago and frequented the pub for food and/or drinks. Recently I was in the area with a friend so we decided to have dinner there. Sadly the quality of the food is definitely not what it used to be. Most shockingly however, were the prices. It was only pub grub after all! We... More

I would often eat and drink in Fagan's as I live nearby. The food is really nice and reasonably priced. They have an extensive menu. The staff are very friendly and provide a great service. There is a lot of seating in the pub. You can reserve seating in the dining area if you wish. There are a few screens... More

This is my local pub/restaurant in Drumcondra, Dublin, Ireland. They do a delicious carvery lunch, including half plate around 8 euro. Great variety on the menu, which changes every day. Homely atmosphere, especially if the fire is lighting. The kind of place you where you could stay all day and night, when you get comfortable. Highlight; choosing a favourite dessert... More

We had a nice meal with a great atmosphere 15 years ago and thought we'd try it again this time while in Dublin. Nothing has changed. The family (kids 10 and 12) all enjoyed the roast. The meals were large and tasty and the staff were friendly. Prices were reasonable.
