This is the worst Fish and Chips I have ever paid for. The fish was disgusting and the chips were hand cut but not nice. The tarter sauce i put on the fish covered up some of the taste but not much. Avoid

Had fresh sole and chips with a coleslaw side which was most enjoyable . Reasonable size serve with an affordable price, the fish was fresh , light batter and excellent chips. For 9 euros with self serve condiments and an excellent spacious room upstairs with a panoramic overview of O'Connell Street. Staff were efficient and we did not have to... More

I cant accept that there are so many bones in the fish ! This is not a cheap stuff but how could it be so much bone inside. I never have so terrible experience ever. I will not come again. Other than that , the attitude of the waitress also have to be improved.

We had high hopes after reading about this 'world famous chip shop' however the chips were only just cooked and the fish while being very tasty was quite small. i have eaten much better in Weymouth, England and Cobo, Guernsey. i will say that the staff were very attentive and we even witnessed them assisting a woman in her wheel... I've always enjoyed the food here any time I visited. I can recommend the fish and chips, the portion of onion rings is also good too. On most of my visits, I have had to wait between 5-10 minutes for my chips, but I didn't mind that as at least they were fresh out of the fryer, same can be... More

We needed a quick meal in the evening, we had spent all day walking & were due on the early ferry next day. Beshoffs in O'Connell street beckoned, Haddock & Chips & Lemon Sole & Chips & 2 drinks the place may have been a little untidy but the food was hot & tasty all for £18, compared to the... More

I had the cod and chips which were ok. The restaurant is convenient to the sites on O'Connel Street but I recommend the short walk to Kingfishers on Parnell Street.

I was pleasantly surprised by the crisp coating and fresh fish. The restaurant was clean and the service good and fast. My husband's non GF haddock fish was not as tasty but still good. The fries were not served as crisp as they are here in Canada, but the flavour was good. It was a nice treat for me as... More

It was great to actually buy fish & chips that were gluten free & cooked in a separate fryer. My sister hadn't eaten any in over 6 years! The staff were friendly, restaurant & toilets spotlessly clean. We could eat safe in the knowledge that the food was safe.

I had an early dinner here one night in Dublin. The location is a nice walk from my hotel. I ordered the Cod Fish with Chips and Sprite - cost me 10.90 euros. I thought this was a pretty good value of a meal. The fish was average but not bad, and the service fast. It had the atmosphere of... More
