Meat eaters paradise - danger of heart attacks!

Overall i loved my experience at Bear. I was there with friends who had been before and was warned that the portions were generous, so we went straight for mains. Between 2 couples we ordered 2x 16ounce rump steaks (1 per couple) and then 5 sides. The steak was great and the wait staff seemed very... read more

We took the advice of a colleague and had dinner at Bear in Dublin! Well you will not be disappointed with this place if you like a great steak and a great choices of side dishes. The most expensive steal for two was served to us rare and the "million dollar fries" were excellent as our main side dish. We... More

Visited here with some work colleagues for lunch recently. Had been here about a year previously and had a great experience at that time. Lunch was fairly ok! I'd been warned that the rosary steak would be fatty but it really seemed excessively so. Good value though and great staff. I'd probably come back but be more careful to order... More

We enjoyed the grilled chicken with salad, fries and beans. Giant portions of well herbed food. All at reasonable and affordable prices. Left stuffed!

We went to Bear for brunch and it did not disappoint. From the moment we stepped in, we enjoyed the relaxed music, vibe and low lighting. We walked in without a reservation and was seated quickly, unlike lots of other restaurants that are happy to keep you waiting. The diners were relaxed and trendy, unlike many other places which are... More

If you are into plenty of steak, this is worth a visit. You'll find the less popular cuts of cow being served up here. If you are hungry and there more than one of you, have the bavette steak for 2 - you rarely see it served in Ireland - you will not be hungry. The house wine is fine,... More

I visited bear with six friends on a Saturday evening. I'd heard a lot about the food and was looking forward to it. I was a little disappointed with the food, but will return in the future for the atmosphere and the buzz of the place. We shared two platters of beef and a single portion of chicken with multiple...
