Had steak, side salad and a side of spinach and my friend had fish and chips. Food was cooked ok but the portions were a joke. I counted 11 green beans and the side of spinach was 2 spoonfuls...For €4 a side..It was poor value. The spinach was cooked in very little, if any, butter and the steak was only... More

This is our 2nd time to eat at this restaurant. We had a voucher and had very nice bruschetta for starters, lamb shank (off the bone) which was delicious and so much of it! This came with lovely baby potatoes and green beens. The salmon was also delicious cooked perfectly with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Only one of us had... More

Decided to have dinner here before going to the Laughter Lounge. Food was great and we would recommend the beef pie. However, putting a €3 supplement on the cod dish was a bit excessive!! Service and ambience good and might go back if in that area again.

After my previous disappointing visit, I decided to give another try to what used to be my favourite restaurant in Dublin. We were 3 and had gravlax salmon, shrimps cocktail and chicken wings as first course (all good but nothing special). Then we went for a fish and chips (OK), pork shops (dry and bland) with an average mash potatoes... More

A very enjoyable evening even though their software was down, which made the service a little slower than it might have been (and memorably the bill was a hand-written piece of paper). The food and drinks were top-notch, and a good value for the price paid. I wouldn't hesitate to go back when we visit Dublin again. The location is... More

Myself and my wife visited back in July while in Dublin on Holiday. We'd been walking though Temple bar and came across this bistro - very attractive building. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter (Scottish if I remember correctly) who sat us at a table near the back. A very friendly young man who took the time to... More

In the interests of fairness, I would like to make it clear that this review is based on one experience of this establishment only. The staff were friendly and the public drinking/dining area was clean. The food was okay; nothing worth raving about, but definitely not poor. The toilets were clean. On the down side, we found the lunch -... More

This place has a lot of good things: 1. It's BYOB. 2. It has a 2 and a 3 course menu with a lot of options. 3. Best Guinness Irish Stew I had in Dublin 4. Best Baileys Cheesecake Plus: the staff is very friendly and they will please you if you have special requests!! 100% recommended
