Why pay over the top for poor to average afternoon tea in 'la de da' hotels when you can enjoy Dublin's best bistro for afternoon tea. If you haven't been here then you are in for a real treat. My girlfriends and I enjoyed tea this Saturday, it was delicious. While I've been here before the 3 newbies was their... More

We found this place by coincidence after strolling through Temple Bar and had dinner here. We were happy with the food and the service, even though at the end it was a bit slow. My husband really enjoyed the Bangers & Mash and I had a bun-less hamburger which was nice but a little dry and could have been served... More

Our daughter had eaten lunch here before - but not brunch - probably because she never sees midday at the weekend. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere great - warm and welcoming on what was a blowy wet day in Dublin - usual we were told.. The weather outside didn't detract from our enjoyment on the inside.... More

Very friendly and helpful staff, I had a good meal there and of course a pint as well. you can sit at your table and look straight in the kitchen which is very comforting for me whenever I go out to eat. the atmosphere and the decor of this bistro is relaxing and classic and very clean.

Gallaher is one of my favourite brunch places. We come here in rotation with other places every few months. My last visit was rather disappointing. We went in for brunch yesterday with friends, there was 5 of us. Place was quiet, 2 maybe 3 other tables in. We've ordered eggs benedict, eggs florentine , two ceasar salads and one full... More

It was an enjoyable experience dining here with good food, a nice atmosphere and excellent service. Our server couldn't have been more pleasant or attentive. My partner asked when we were heading there again about 20 minutes after we left.

Food was delicious, go here quite often. Never disappoints! It's tough to stretch your budget for anything nowadays but if this isn't worth it, nothing is. Atmosphere and decor are great too!

Three generations of my family had afternoon tea at Gallagher's, all thoroughly enjoyed their experience, food was lovely, Nana (80 years of age) loved the china plates and tea cups etc.. Lovely atmosphere, very relaxed, and great location! Would highly recommend it. Lorraine.

A dreary January Saturday afternoon was lifted by an unscheduled stop at Gallaher & Co. Bistro on D'Olier Street in Dublin. This is a delightful bistro and I first heard of it through facebook when some friends of mine had posted pictures of Afternoon Tea. We were greeted by the friendliest staff you could wish to meet, an excellent young... More
