Decided to go to the city to meet friends and picked gallaghers because the buiding looked as it housed a great bistro. we ordered bruschetta . what a disappointment , a meagre piece of bread with some cherry tomatoes and a sprinkle of rocket if there was a dressing it must have evaporated before it hit the plate. moved on... Our group of friends were celebrating christmas at Gallaher's, but it was so affordable and such good value that we'll be making it a more regular fixture going forward. Very welcoming staff and good quality food and drink. Extensive drinks menu was a real bonus.

We had some great food and service in Gallahers Bistro. It's just stones throw from Trinity College, Stephens Green and O'Connell St. Very good deal at lunchtime and the atmosphere was relaxed, we'll be back

We booked Gallaher's for our Christmas night out as it was BYOB and their menu seemed to be the best for value around. There were 15 of us! Every single one of us really enjoyed our dinner and we were very happy with the service. The waiters were very attentive and catered for individual dietary needs. Thanks, we'll be back!

I was here in November and on a couple of other occasions as well and would certainly recommend it. Food is excellent and early-bird is such good value for money, Lovely atmosphere and very peasant and helpful staff. Also a very central location and will definitely be back.
