City-centre but not a tourist-trap

Ate here for the second time recently. Efficient, friendly servers. Nice menu - plenty of choice, and lots of gluten-free options. Set menu is excellent value. Surpassed my expectations - our friends from the US appreciated the Irish ingredients, and the locally brewed lager and stout. Nice... read more

So happy with the food, service and value. What a little gem of a restaurant with a great ambience. The pre theatre menu had a great selection and BYO is an added bonus. Will definitely be back.

This is just a little way away from the Temple Bar tourist "drag" and just opposite Trinity College in an imposing building. We booked a table and we are glad that we did as it soon filled up. We opted for the Prix Fixe Menu - 3 courses for €26 and it was very good value for money. The staff... More

I visited the bistro with my two friends last week and was really impressed with their food. We opted for the pre theatre menu 2 course €16 | 3 course €19, which is excellent value. The fact you can also bring your own wine is brilliant too. We all had the bruschetta to start and I have to say it... More

I have been there with my boyfriend for brunch. The staff was awsome. Approached us straight away. We asked for some advice which they were very confortable enough to describe. In this way I have choosen one benedict eggs. It was enough as a main course and together I had some bailey coffee, which was absolutely gorgeous. Both of them.... More

We came on this place purely by chance and it was very good. Super set menu at €21 for two courses, €26 for three. Service was excellent and the food superb. I had chicken liver parfait followed by slow cooked rump of lamb, all excellent. The others had equally good stuff. Highly recommended!

Would have expected this place to be a tourist trap with average food due to its location. The food was way better than expected & they do a good value early bird menu. Staff were lovely and we had a really comfortable booth. Can recommend the bruschetta and the fish & chips.

First time in Dublin. First time in Gallaher. Perfect Tom Collins. Kudos to the bar tender. Very crowded but only seen 3 servers. Food was delicious and good portion sizes. Don't forget the deserts

I came here just for good coffee. When I opened door, it looked really nice place so I expected my coffee more but the coffee is actually not good. I ordered cappuccino but it is not cappuccino!! The quality of steamed milk is terrible and also taste of coffee is not good. If you come here to drink a coffee,... More
