Afternoon Tea

Well both myself and my niece book this deal. I rang and booked the table. When speaking to the Manager I was straight away informed that he wanted the table for 2.30 I immediately felt under pressure. They weren't the friendliest We found we were waiting over 15mins before anyone came near us to... read more

Me and my lover traveled to dublin from belfast on whim once we arrived we were famished. We walked a few blocks and decided that Gallahers looked quite nice. Modern but in a way old-fashioned. I had the chicken linguine and my date had the Salmon sambo, delightful food, would definitely go here again, so glad we found a nice... More

I went here after purchasing a deal voucher - €39 for 3 course meal for 2. It sounded like great value. We went on a thursday evening, the place was busy with a mixture of after work, tourists, birthdays and couples. The luas works are just outside the door whihc may make it a little harder for people not familiar... More

I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend early last Saturday evening, around 6pm. The restaurant was nice and warm and I found the staff to be friendly. We had soup and chicken wings to start, the wings were okay but the soup was very nice. For mains it was the rump steak and the Guinness stew. I asked for... More

It was not too far away from where we stayed so decided to give it a shot after reading the reviews. The place is very well decorated and the staff are extremely friendly making the atmosphere excellent. But... there is a

We walked past Gallaghers on our way to Mulligans and were attracted by the choices on the early bird menu. It is a pleasant room, good service and excellent value for money. The hake was excellent with lovely hot mash. Other choices at our table were all liked. Overall we were pleased with the place and would return--hopefully with no... More

I'll try to balance this review the best I can! We travelled to Dublin as a group of 17 on a hen party, prior to travelling we spent many hours trawling the net to find a central restaurant that served both a normal menu and afternoon tea. This seemed to pretty much be the only one, so we booked. They... More

Very good execution of Value Menu - starters, mains are carefully engineered and time between courses is quick so tables are available again Food is prepared in advanced, this means the service is very efficient

I've been going to Gallaher's for a few years and have yet to be disappointed. I use it most often for the early bird menu or for something different at the weekend (usually the afternoon tea), but we've also used it as a venue for big birthday parties and other group meals too, and the staff have always been a... Arrived at restaurant on a Saturday evening unbooked. Got a table no problem but was a little strange to be sat next to the kitchen where the door was left open for all to see, not that there was anything of concern to see, but just seemed a bit strange. Also strange was it was about 15 minutes before anyone... More
