Description: Vaughan's Eatery offers an alternative dining experience to a general pub grub menu. Quality ingredients are combined with award winning chefs, to create a sophisticated menu complimented by top food critics and food magazines (Food & Wine Magazine 2010, Paolo Tullio 2012, Lucinda O'Sullivan and YES Chef Magazine 2013...). These quotes capture the high standards endeavored at Vaughan's. We offer the locality fine food at very reasonable prices in a comfortable pub environment. It is the accumulation of these characteristics, along with friendly service in a comfortable atmosphere that makes Vaughan's a unique dining experience.

We came in for a quick lunch. I ordered grilled goats cheese sandwich& chips and my husband had same sandwich and tomato soup. It was the best sandwich I've ever had. My husband is a very fussy eater and if he says it's the best soup he ever ate it means it must be delicious.. Also the girl serving us... More

We ate in this restaurant for the 5th time and we will come again when visiting Dublin. First of all, the service is perfect. Waitresses are very polite, always smiling. This time we have picked steak. It was a new experience for me to cook the steak on the hot stone on my own. Great idea, we have enjoyed every... More

We have dined in Vaughan's several times over the last few years and it has impressed us every time. Last night three of us had an early evening meal which did not buck the trend. We all ordered from the Value Menu which has a full varied choice of all three courses. For starters two of us selected the risotto... More

Five adults and two children went for a late Sunday lunch. Kids did burger and chips, all good. Two of us had the beef pie, potatoes and veg. It looked homemade with a beautiful pastry and dark rich gravy. They said it was delicious. Two had the club sandwich with fries and it was great. Portions are large. I had... More

This was our first meal in Ireland, recommended by Ferry House. We ate here for their carvery lunch, which offered a lovely option of roast meats or fish, and all of the sides of potatoes and veggies. We returned the next night for their pub dinner which was filling, tasty, and affordable.

When a restaurant (more gastro pub in this case) has a Good Food Guide and Lucinda O'Sullivan plaque outside the front door, you expect more. You expect a fairly high quality meal. We didn't get one. First, relatively minor (or perhaps not ??) quibble - waited half an hour for our starter in a near- empty room because there was... More

As my title says we almost walked out without even sampling the food. My Wife and I selected this restaurant based on the excellent reviews and because its right beside us. When we arrived we where made very welcome and shown to our table immediately. As we selected Vaughans because of the reviews of their steaks on the stone you... More

I love eating here but I just popped in with my husband to have a starter and desert. I adore salads and the goats cheese beetroot was out of this world. It was light and so tasty. The combination of flavours along with the walnuts was wonderful. I ordered ice cream for desert and it was a wonderful end to... More
