I go to this place quite regularly. The early bird menu is such good value and the food is almost always great too. The wine list is interesting and the wines by the glass are good choices. The pasta dishes are always a good choice, although they could be the reason I never have room for dessert

OMG... this place is amazing - it was packed! Great atmosphere... I had the smoked salmon - it danced in my mouth with each bite I took.... Delicious! I decided to push the boat out and have the Strawberry & cassis pavlova - Dining etiquette was out the window... licking your plate is kinda frowned upon (LOL) I for one... More

Visited the much heralded San Lorenzo's in Georges st last night. I wanted a good atmosphere and a relaxed setting for a Tuesday night business dinner. A couple of pints in The old Stand followed by dinner. We were warmly welcomed by Keith and offered bread and olive oil. He recommended a nice crisp glass of Italian white and a... More

Visited for brunch on a busy Sunday. Had a reservation for 1.30, was told to go away and come back in 10, we did, table still not ready. The host pointed to the table that was to be ours, and said 5 minutes. Then he sat someone else there. At this point I was starving and it was nearing 2pm.... More

After hearing people talk about San Lorenzo's for some time, I finally managed to try it out for myself. A group of us headed there on a Tuesday night - and were delighted to see we were in a packed restaurant, which is always great to see midweek. We were spoilt for choice with the menus, competitively priced early bird... More

I eventually made it to San Lorenzo's for brunch & it was absolutely worth the wait so much so I went back today. I emailed 4 days before looking for a 12pm reservation & received a prompt reply saying they would need the table back by 13.30 which wasn't a problem. When we arrived there was queue inside the door,... More

We have been to San Lorenzo a few times now between brunch, lunch and dinner and it never fails to impress. From the eclectic background music choices (my wife asked for the playlist :-/ ) to the really good food quality which is topped by a buzzy atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable given the choice but there are some... More

Last weekend myself and my brother ate brunch in San Lorenzo's after he had seen a review on Lovin Dublin and their Lobster Benedict. I tweeted them to say how excited we were and they got back to me straight away in an extremely friendly manner. Already I was impressed as an online presence is so important for a business.... More

I really like this place. The food is great and very good value. There's a solid cocktail menu too. I can't say enough about the veal & pork meatballs, they are delicious. There's a great vibe to this place too. The staff are friendly but unintrusive. The last time I was with a small group of friends but it works... More

There has been a huge amount of buzz in Dublin about San Lorenzo's so when I visited on a Tuesday evening I was trying to keep my expectations low so I wouldn't be disappointed. I certainly wasn't. We had a table booked for 6pm so when we arrived it was pretty empty, we were seated and looked after asap and... More
