I enjoyed my ravioli lunch at Clodagh McKenna's. The St Tola goat's cheese had good flavour and the pasta was done well. The chicken Provençal was reported to be a tasty dish. Prices are reasonable at about 15euro each. Unfortunately, the service was unforgivably slow on our visit but this could have been a once-off.

Was looking forward to going to this restaurant as homemade by clodagh sounded promising. There is nothing special about this restaurant. Completely overpriced. The garlic potatoes and roast potatoes where undercooked and cold and the portion was small for the price we paid. Afterwards we decided to treat our selves to a dessert. The lemon meringue pie was soft and... More

Myself and my mother had lunch in clodagh s kitchen today . To sum it up in one word - fabulous . We both had a salad and the waitresses were excellent . There was a manager on sight at all times and was overlooking everything that was going on . It was a really enjoyable experience and the food... More

Had a breakfast in the bakery, ordered avocado and feta cheese wrap- had no taste at all and cold, girl at the counter is grumpy and relactantly said sorry after I got the refund. Bit overly priced and didn't meet its great reputation of the celebrity chef's name on it!

I visited yesterday and ordered the classic quiche with 2 salads. The salads were fine but the quiche was horrendous. It had been given a blast in the microwave before it was served. It was thin, tough as shoe leather and topped with a thick layer of cheese. Awful stuff - I picked at the quiche trying to find some... More

Got the feta cheese quiche...a side of carrot and almonds and coleslaw. It was rotten. Every one of the items tasted old. 9 Euro. I brought it back to the counter and told them it was horrible and shouldn't be served. I asked for a refund and they gladly gave me the money back. So disappointed....as I was hungry and... More

The staff is the biggest problem here, they seem to be unaware about the importance of the customer....especially in the coffee bar at entrance of this restaurant. It was lovely when it opened, coffee's served from smiling attendants in beautiful retro china cups, now its a clattering of big ugly mugs, no eye conctact, no smiling, and they seem to... More

We went to the self service on Tuesday after bank holiday weekend 29th October. The place was very busy at 13.45....no trays, every available table not cleared away,no soup bowls, when the bowls arrived there was not enough hot soup left for 2 servings, no side plates for bread. Staff quite nice but no structure or management in place ,... More

We visited clodagh today for afternoon tea. It started with girl taking our order. She was so impolite. I ordered the 'new Yorker'. Description... Salted beef with mustard, rocket and pickled cucumber. Reality.... 2 slices of dried up cucumber, 2 LEAVES of rocket and a tiny amount of salted beef. I was shocked at a €6.50 price tag. Seriously it... More

Over-cooked,dried out, over-priced canteen food. Don't bother. There is much better fare on offer elsewhere. The food upstairs is better but even pricier and you need time on your hands as there is usually a wait.
