Great lunch spot in the heart of Dublin

Headed to Dublin Castle? Here's a great lunch stop off. Down an alley that looks like it's dodgy but isn't, Skinflint is a great sandwich & soup place that's worth the stop.

An Irish friend recommended this place while I was in Dublin, and I'm sure glad she did because we would not have stumbled upon this without seeking it out. It's not the most inviting place but the service was quick. Menu is super interesting, I'd love to try one of everything, and the prices were reasonable. Check it out if... More

Very hip and trendy. I loved the old doors set up as tables. Being gluten free, they were able to make my meal into a salad and my hubby had a pizza. Great lunch spot!

The food is fantastic and so fresh. I had a working lunch here a few weeks ago and enjoyed the pitta-pockets. The décor is so cool and I love the novel atmosphere and décor! But when we came to pay and asked for the bill to be separated the waitress tutted! I was a bit surprised at the reaction. We... More

Hipster crowd hanging around, very central location, but it took me a couple of years to find out where the place actually was as it is hidden away in a small alley going joining Dame Street with Temple Bar. The atmosphere is very relaxed, not exactly the best place for a romantic date, but a good one to enjoy pizza... More

Went with friends whilst in Dublin for the weekend. The pizza menu looked exciting but the food itself didn't quite live up to expectations. Still a good place to grab a quick lunch though.

I've been there with friends for a friend's birthday. I like the place, nice atmosphere... the pizza is nothing special (but I'm Italian, so maybe I'm a bit too harsh!) It's worth a try!

I was looking forward to visiting Skinflint on Sunday night- the start of my midterm break! I had been there a number of times & was eager for my friend to sample the tasty food & cool atmosphere too. On arrival at 8.40pm we were turned away, told they had decided to close early as it had been a quiet... More

Visited here for a quick bite after work, great atmosphere, cool layout and decor. The menu is good, different options to the usual places with quick and pleasant service. They have a reasonable bar, complete with cocktails. Value for money is pretty good all round. Will definitely be back.
