We stumbled upon the cafe while shopping. Delicious, fresh, healthful salads, beautiful sandwiches and wraps, and nice baked goods.

We were here for breakfast on a Tuesday. To get to the café which is situated on the top floor, you would need to go through 2-3 floors of the loveliest items for your home, gifts, toys, etc. The cafe has a rustic & slightly country feel. I loved it. The service was fast, friendly & great! We ordered the... More

This must be the fastest slow food in this area. Excellent quality, exciting menu and wonderful atmosphere.

It had been a while since I had food in Avoca so when I recently heard that Poulet Bonne Femme had an outlet in the basement I decided to go and check it out. I ordered roast pork and roast chicken sandwiches to go and they were complete and utter perfection. The meat was tender and the bread divine. I... More

I regularly visit avoca for lunch. It is delicious every time and worth the bill. My only suggestion would be to increase the size of the coffee cup so that i can relax here for longer & enjoy the atmosphere!

This was recommended by friends in Dublin. We had scrambled eggs, omelette, bacon, toast. It was fine. Nothing to write home about. As a matter of fact, it would have been better at home. There were not many people there, so maybe we hit at a bad time. There are so many other great breakfast places in Dublin that we... More

I like the food they serve in Avoca but the atmosphere is not very pleasant for me. When I visited it was very noisy and the wait time was quite long. Service was friendly though and the quality of the meal was excellent.

They have delicious, warm, wonderfully colorful blankets, as well as soaps, gifts, clothes, a little takeout in the basement, and level after level all the way up to the top, where their little cafe was serving boeuf bourguinon. Oh, and also candles, and chocolate. What more could you desire?

It is always a special pleasure when a spontaneous visit results in the discovery of a real gem. This lovely cafe on the 2nd floor of the Avoca shop is well worth the climb and you'll need the exercise to expend just a small proportion of the calories you will accumulate! Immediately after being taken to the table we were... More
