Great breakfast.

The breakfast menu is full of good choices, at quite reasonable prices (for Dublin). I had poaches eggs on avocado + toast which was fantastic. The sausages are also amazing and locally sourced. Would definitely recommend coming for breakfast / brunch!

This is my go to place in Dublin for early lunch or coffees. The food is cooked with care and there's an extensive pastry and cake selection. I had the poached eggs on my last visit, one of the best brunch dishes I've had in Dublin. The atmosphere is quite buzzy so perfect for children or loud chat. The cafe... More

Really enjoyed my quinoa patty with tahini/greens and other person had fish cake; also the basil pesto panini was delicious. helpyourself water; great vibe in the basement of a store with innovative food items. Only complaint is that my scone was not really that good (berry scone had almost no berries!). Still very satisfied because my quinoa and tahini burger... More

I had read the reviews of the Avoca Cafe and when my husband and I finally got there for lunch, we were delighted to find that it was even better than we had expected. The ambiance is great but the food is the real star. It's fresh, top ingredients and wonderful combinations. We went back the next day to purchase... More

Mid afternoon visit. Nice interior with lots of natural light. It wasn't too busy at the time. Americano coffee was not the best. Raspberry scone was very dry and biscuit-like. My partners chocolate eclair was very good. The brown bread was really very good. Staff were friendly.

This was one of my favourite shops the last time I was in Dublin, so this time I wanted to be sure to eat in the cafe as well. We arrived at lunch hour and got a table right away. It was a nice table at the window. I chose the soup of the day which was a creamy mushroom,... More

Basic customer service..we had to go up to the counter to pay even though we were charged an automatic 'service charge' and ignored when there. Bad coffee, eggs, sausages and a juice came to nearly €25 for one person! Avoid!

This is a lovely shop selling clothes, jewellery, household goods, food etc etc and also has a lively cafe. It's most famous for the weaving of throws/blankets which can be bought here and also Avoca soap is worth buying. A definate must to pop into when in Dublin.

Went here for lunch as a group of 9 before going to the The Gaity Theatre matinee. The organiser of our trip had been in touch with the manager who said if we let him know how many we needed that he would try to keep a table for us. We were very impressed as bookings are not normally taken.... More

I have come for coffee or lunch to Avoca several times, and it always impresses. The berry scones are particularly delicious. They have nice salads and soups, plus more substantial meals if you want them. Be warned, you won't be able to walk through the shop to the cafe without buying something... Avoca has amazing things.
