Food - (5/5) Had the pasta special which was spinach & ricotta ravioli in tomato cream sauce. Absolutely delicious! Followed with a fruit scone with jam and cream which was also excellent. Portions, especially my friend's carrot cake, were large. Value - (3/5) Perhaps I'm just not used to Dublin prices, but it was very expensive compared to similar standard... More

Avoca is, for me, quintessential Irish baking. It's a tad overpriced, but worth every cent spent! Their cakes and brown bread in particular are delicious

We visited 3 Avoca stores, one near Wicklow, the one in Dublin, and the one on the grounds of Malahide Castle. Several years ago visited one on the west side of Ireland, and it was mainly just sweaters and the lovely woven offerings. Now, perhaps due to the downturn, the stores have been converted into amazing food emporiums as well... More

Pre christmas shopping breakfast with my eldest! Needed fortifying before entering the fray, so popped in to Avoca on Suffolk St. Fantastic porridge, berries, breads and scones, great staff and reasonable price. Nice atmosphere too. Well worth a visit.

The Avoca is on Suffolk Street, Dublin. Turn right just before the start (city end) of the famous Grafton Street. Many people may bypass this as a lunch choice, thinking it is just a store. In fact you have to pass through several floors of the shop to get to the restaurant. The shop is kind of cramped looking with... More

Went there for a nice lunch. It was very busy but still service was very quick and staff really nice and helpful. I ordered crab meat salad and it was very tasty and fresh. Restaurant is cosy and clean, really worth a visit. There is a shop as well where I found nice bits and pieces for myself. I can... More

A cute store with an even cuter cafe. Amazing pancakes, warm and cosy atmosphere and affordable. A nice place to visit on your own or enjoy with friends and spend a lovely time.

I love Avoca's brunch. I like it so much I wish they'd do it on Saturday & Sunday instead of only on Sunday. The food quality is amazing and it's my favourite place to go for brunch in Dublin.

Very charming store where you can get a bit of everything (books, kitchen utensils, cheese, bread, rugs, etc) and restaurant on top floor. Huge selection of food and pastry, vibrant colors and wonderfully presented to the dinners. Believe me when I say you feel like trying a bit of everything! Price wise its not the most forgiving... but I've seen... More
