Wonderful Irish breakfast, Highly personable staff

Our lunch at Avoca was healthful and delicious. There are offerings for vegetarians and meat-eaters, and the desserts are delectable. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.

This is only reviewing this cafe located on the top floor. We came looking for a traditional Irish breakfast. We got there before the lunch pop so our service was speedy. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. The food was great also. Very large portions! A must visit.

Had a meal recently in O'Neills of Suffolk Street and after rolling out of there 2 hours later we went to Avoca as I remember it having a great reputation for cakes. It is spread out over 4 floors with the top floor housing the loos and the Avoca Cafe on the 2nd floor. We arrived in the Cafe to... More

The Fern restaurant in Avoca, Kilmacanogue, is like an oasis where one can meet with friends or family members for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nice, relaxing deco and friendly staff.

Quality woolen scarves & throws, stylish rain jackets, and fashionable clothes for men and women. Selection limited but should adequately serve anyone with taste.

Unique, trendy and hipster sort of place. Just had dessert which was great, but the mains looked good as well. A bit pricy, but you pay for the experience too.

The trek up to the cafe on the top floor is well worth it! I ordered the burger, and it was very flavorful, although they did not ask how I wanted it cooked so it was more done than I'd like. The chips with horseradish mayonnaise were addictive. My mother ordered the minced lamb with pita and sauces, which was... More

Nice food but very overpriced. The same for the shop. It seems designed for people with more money than sense.

After walking a whole day we saw this place. Went into the shop first. Very nice shop and after a bit of ahopping we had lunch in the cafe. We both had duck confit and this was really good. Not everything on the menu looks great, a bit wild with the combinations but the duck was nice.
