I come here all the time and I have never been disappointed, the food is delicious and the decoration is unique. It's very popular so it can be difficult to find a table during peak times at the weekend.

I have eaten here countless times with friends and it's always wonderful. They do great salads, soups and sandwiches, and their desserts are out of this world! Last time I was there I had the a Falafel Mezze platter. It was delicious and would be perfect to share with someone as it honestly is just enormous. Everything here is freshly... More

I love eating here. My favorite dish is the superfood salad. Anyone who I've brought with my also loves it, and it has a broad selection, for lunch, dinner, snacks etc. The decor is also gorgeous. I used to go to the cafe downstairs, but it has changed, and I really don't like it! Very limited, and staff weren't great!... More

Wow, this place is really my cup of tea. The atmosphere is nice, the staff is very friendly (the handsome, tall guy that was helping us, was joking all the time) and the food tasty. What else could you want? If you like eating good food in a vintage atmosphere, this is the place to go. It was quite crowded,... More

While on tour in Ireland we lucked out finding Avoca. It was so beep beep good! We first went to the bottom floor and got take out to return to our motel room. Everything there was freshly prepared and eye catching..........and delicious. Then for the next THREE meals while in Dublin we returned to Avoca's 3rd floor for a sit... More

Avoca never ceases to provide the best food at a reasonable price. The food is always super tasty and wonderfully presented and the atmosphere is always buzzing in the restaurant. Plus on our last visit we sat next to Josh Harnett, talk about dining with the stars.

A trip to Dublin is never complete without a trip to Avoca. The staff - who seem to be there forever - are fantastic and make the place. They are friendly, helpful and always willing to have a laugh. I just love it for breakfast and lunch....and a spot of people watching. The food is always superb...the char-grilled tuna salad... More

Just back from a short trip to Dublin where we visited this charming Avoca restaurant twice. Once for coffee and cake both delicious and the second time for lunch. The lunch menu is fairly pricey but is by and large good quality fresh food, beautifully served. We were however dismayed to find some bacon in a vegetarian pasta special. The... More

If you're a late riser or planning a relaxing day in Dublin, be sure to have breakfast at Avoca. Their cafe on the top floor of their beautiful shop opens at 9:30 a.m. The cafe is French shabby chic, and quiet even with the room half full. The staff are friendly and prompt. The breakfast menu has a nice range... More
