I used to go to Step Inn regularly for a meal or drinks, but have become increasingly fed up with the rudeness of some of the staff. The bar staff are quite the opposite and are very pleasant, but there is a woman who works in the part of the bar that serves food (not the restaurant) whose attitude is... More

But form what I have heard is that the 5.00 Euro kids menu doesn't exists anymore and that a bit of a bummer.... But the Wings where to die for and so was the chicken that belonged in the kids... We had a nice afternoon in the Step Inn pub last weekend. The Staff are very nice, friendly and polite. The food was enjoyable, but a bit more pricey than other pubs in the area. It's good to have sport on TV but the group in the corner of the lounge, sitting at the bar watching horse racing should be... More

Nothing fancy, nothing posh, but pub grub, great for a quick pint and a bar snack, and to watch the footie.

I was there with a friend last Friday night we choose the Step Inn based on reviews on Tripadvisor and reading about it on the website. Maybe the Chef was off duty on the night because the food that was served to us was like something cooked by a kid working in a kitchen for the summer holidays. We had... More

I used to frequent this pub in my younger days when Stepaside was a village and had a village feel about it.The Celtic Tiger changed all that and it's now such a busy area. However the step Inn has retained the village pub feel and the food is quite well served and a good balanced menue. The pints of Guinness are well... Decided to go on a Sunday afternoon. V disappointing, staff were less than friendly and seemed to ignore us most of the time. Place was nearly empty we got their early about 12.50 yet we had to wait at least 40 minutes for our food. Menu is pricey so I expected it to b lovely but my fish pie was... More

I ate in the Stone Grill here and I really enjoyed it. The menu has a lot of choice and there is a section of dishes that are served on a hot stone, where you can cook the meat to your taste. The food was presented nicely and was all very good. The staff were friendly and the place was... More
