Last Breakfast of 2016

Quality as always. Friendly relaxed atmosphere with good value and clean facilities. Lovely full English with complimentary orange juice and a nice cappuccino. Well cooked and served quickly and efficiently. Great for dinner in the Grill or pub. Good for breakfast in the cafe and deadly for a few... read more

Having spent a day walking in the Wicklow mountains I was looking forward to a good lunch. We arrived in Stepaside and this place looked good. Before we ate I used the mens bathroom and it set my expectations pretty low. The toilets were not clean at all. The staff were generally not very good in seating us, taking our... More

Great little spot for a few drinks and a bite to eat. The chicken wings are probably the best around. Great staff and friendly local. The weekends get busy here with some live music in the bar and lounge.

My partner and I seldom give poor ratings. We decided to treat ourselves to a late lunch around 2pm on New Year's Day. The place was not busy at all. There were about four occupied tables. The girls at the reception were rude and unfriendly. The burgers were tasteless. The prices definitely didn't reflect value. And the table (across from the... Awesome food (see photo). Real Dublin hospitality. A reflection of the Ireland I remember from 25 years ago. Food and coffee steaming hot. Great place.

Have eaten in this restaurant on several occasions at lunch time and in the evening as the food is of a higher standard than your normal public house. The menu is varied and caters for most taste buds. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice atmosphere and good value. Recommend the Thai curry as its delicious.

new menu is interesting - great range of starters. much fancier than your average pub. Haven't tried one yet but the steak on the stone looks awesome - large towering american style fillet steaks, not your usual fillet you will see in a pub. Had chicken wings, good quality chicken but a bit dry and scabby on the sauce to... More
