We went here for a Christmas night out with friends. I had heard great things about brunch at WFG so was looking forward to trying their dinner ... And it didn't disappoint. There were 10 people in our group. Service was very efficient & our waiter was very friendly. The food was really good. There was a great selection on... More

Really beautiful courses. We were wowed by every dish and were disappointed when we were too full for dessert. Cocktail menu really fun and varied as was the wine list. Rump and Ribs was the highlight but the vegetarian options are VERY very good! Service is relaxed and overall I couldn't fault this restaurant.

These people can cook and the staff are courteous and attentive, the prices are also reasonable particularly the early bird special. Everything I ordered was cooked and presented to perfection. I often like to order something that I wouldnt be able to cook at home but yesterday I felt like some comfort food, their roast breast of chicken w/ chestnut... More

This very busy little restaurant in Dublin city centre was an amazing surprise. White friars was managed very well by two extremely competent waitresses who never left any customer wanting, they recommended wine and also how dishes are best cooked. The food was fabulous, the steak tartare for starter was the best ive tasted and steaks for dinner melted in... More

I really like this restaurant, and would definitely recommend trying it out! Everything is cooked really nicely, with some interesting twists. Brunch with lobster and champagne is a pretty nice way to spend a weekend morning too!

My husband and I visited the Whitefriar Grill while on a long weekend in Dublin. It's a small place but intimate and perfect for a romantic meal. Since it was Sunday, we had the €40 meat board and we're certainly not disappointed! Beautifully cooked steak and 3 types of ribs, plus fries and carrot and avocado on the side. The... More

Visited this restaurant in early December with a group of friends. Even though the early bird finished at 6, which I did think was a little early for a Wednesday evening the staff kindly allowed us to order from the early bird regardless which is great value at 2 courses for 19.50. I started with the salmon gravalax with a... More

We started off being present with a free glass of prosecco, which was a nice touch. The waiting staff were very very helpful in choosing the wine for us as we were familiar with some of the wines on the list. The food was very tasty and the portions were very generous. The atmosphere was very lively and a great... More
