Have been here a few times and it never disappoints, the staff are always very nice and helpful, the food is great, lovely atmosphere for both groups or as a couple and you don't feel rushed to leave. FYI - The bourgignon sauce that comes with the 16 oz rib eye on the bone is out of this world. I... More

Went on a Sunday evening for the ribs and rump - €40 for a 14oz steak that was to die for, 3 different kinds of ribs and 2 sides. We went for chips and the tobacco onions. I wasn't pushed on the bacon ribs but i couldn't fault one other aspect of the dish it was amazing. I will 100%... More

Booked the restaurant for our anniversary meal after reading great reviews and was not disappointed. Had the ribs and rump as it was a Sunday and was very impressed. €40 for so much gorgeous food was a bargain. The staff were all lovely and brought us some anniversary cocktails which was a lovely surprise. Will definitely be back next time... More

We think the Whitefriar Grill is the best Sunday brunch in Dublin but getting a seat might mean waiting 20-25 minutes, even if you have a reservation. The menu offers 10 egg dishes so we are always satisfied. There's a hipster crowd saturating the place on Fridays, enjoying fun cocktails. If you're there fir dinner, try my fav--lobster hash with... We had a reservation and still had to wait outside for over 20 mins. Went there on the last night of WebSummit, but that shouldn't have any impact on the occupancy, as most of the people seemed to be locals. Food was nice and everyone was happy of what they got. I had the duck, which was really tender, but... More

Tried this restaurant for the first time tonight, just happened to walk past. Great early bird and great wine, staff really relaxed and friendly. Really glad I stopped off, will definitely be going back.

Was recommended to go for brunch but they only serve at weekends for this and we were only in town mid-week. Booked it for evening meal instead, really glad we did. Slightly out from the usual tourist area but only 5-6 min walk from Temple Bar so worth seeking it out. Small, friendly place, nice staff. They serve wine and... More

Went here last night with my girlfriend to try their early bird menu. There's a fair selection for on the menu, though the starters were a little restrictive. We both went for the lamb flatbread. It was a huge portion for a starter and really tasty. For mains we got duck which came served with a quail egg and the... More
