Had a lovely brunch here about two weeks ago. You really need to book as dropping in on spec will not work. The place was full of people and buzzing as there is a live DJ in house. I had the crab eggs benedict, and whilst I love crab, the ingredient mix did not work for me. Still, you are... More

This is a very popular (small) bistro restaurant. Had super chicken wings to start and then a steak with prawns. Steak excellent cooked as I requested, prawns were a bit sad and squishy. My partner had a chicken dish which was equally excellent. Good wine list. Reservations essential this place is usually very busy. Outdoor seating available but not really... More

Great wine list and selection by the glass. Professional, attentive staff. Interesting well thought out menu. Only downside are the tiny tables for 2 and I am not the greatest fan of eating hot food off wooden boards. Lamb Belly with merguez sausage, chickpeas, baba ganoush and harissa potatoes was to die for.Recommend it highly for casual dining with friends.

Ate Sunday lunch here recently. Staff were very welcoming from the moment we stepped in. Really like the options for brunch, including crab meat, lobster and the usual meaty options. Good sized portions, that arrived promptly enough (despite the restaurant being very busy!) Enjoyed the crab cakes egg Benedict. A really tasty dish. Plenty of fresh tasting crab meat and... More

This was our first visit to the Whitefriar Grill - an early bird meal before going to a show at the Olympia Theatre. We had selected this restaurant because of it's excellent reviews and we were certainly not disappointed. Very friendly and professional staff, and the food was superb! We has chosen the 3 course menu with a carafe of... More

We live in London and were in Ireland attending a wedding and then, in Dublin, meeting with friends who are locals. Thank goodness that when catching up with our friends we were able to rely on their local knowledge because we never would have come to this restaurant otherwise. It seemed to have a "family run operation" feel to it... More
