The perfect Early Bird menu...

Went here with my Mom on Saturday night for the 3 course Early Bird menu. The restaurant was already packed at 5:30pm - the atmosphere was lively. We both had prawns to start which were massive and juicy. The main course was perfection. We both opted for Rump steak - it melted in the mouth - the... read more

Have heard a huge amount this place for years and never visited. So we went this morning. Have to say while the food was good neither of us considered it great. The Quinoa salad was "pretty good" and the grilled breakfast. Being realistic this actually means it is better than 90% of those you find around Dublin, but we were... More

Had a great foodie experience at Whitefriar Grill, the staff were very attentive and professional with a genuine friendly service. I ordered the prawns for starters which tasted amazing and the steak was equally great for the main dish. Definitely will return again soon.

I went before but I was in a rush, but they got me in and out quickly, so I went back with a voucher. Service was excellent. The place was buzzing but it was Saturday at 7. The starter was nice enough, oxtail tart, good pastry , tasty filling. Partner demolished her healthy salad. Wine choice covered a variety of... More

If Tripadvisor did ratings out of 10 I would give this a 7. A couple of us had dinner here on a very busy Sunday a few weeks ago. I ordered the vegetarian option for my main course.... gnocchi. The gnocchi themselves were a little on the bland side but there was some very nicely done spinach and either a... More

As you can tell from my reviews, I really like this restaurant. I've been loads of times and have never once been disappointed. From the minute you arrive, the friendly staff make you feel so welcome and like they're genuinely happy you're there. I keep meaning to try another starter but every time I smell the chicken wings I know... More

Phewwww this place is popular! I couldn't fault the service, they were very welcoming and attentive. We were here for the infamous weekend brunch, on Saturday. We had pre-booked and could only get a 3pm sitting, when we arrived our table was ready and waiting. Reviewing this as a vegetarian, I had only 2 options off a menu of 10... More

This was our second visit to this restaurant and it won't be our last. Each time we were welcomed by such friendly laid back staff. The food is top notch and each time our steak was done to perfection. The Ribeye on the bone is a must for all you carnivores. Their chunky chips and tobacco onions are so tasty.... More

I had heard great things about this place so was very disappointed when the food was so bland. Service was fine, if a little familiar, but each dish we had was very underwhelming. I found it expensive for what we had.

Hi Lucia, thanks for leaving your review, sorry you thought the food at WFG was so bland. The only thing you haven't told us is what dishes you dined on? We cannot correct mistakes or issues or improve our offering (because we do listen) unless people are a little more specific about their experience? More
