Brunch!

The best brunch I've had in a while. Delicious eggs benedict and tomato fondue. Spicy Bloody Mary and nice coffee! Really good decor and great service. Super spot for brunch, can't wait to try for dinner!

My friend and I had a short break in Dublin and found this restaurant just in passing , I had the two course menu both the starter of courgette fritters and the hake crusted main course were excellent. The fish being the best I've had in a long time . My friend was equally impressed with her selection of steak... More

Was glad rugby was on today because I was able to get a table in whitefrier, this is a must visit in Dublin for brunch, there is only one bit of advice I will give and that is be hungry when you go, there was three of us but I will only let your mouth water over my choice, 8oz... More

Nice and cozy place but I don't see the fuzz and value for money at all. The place is a bit tight so if you are clostrophobic, go somewhere else. The steak is good but again for the price, you can be somewhere else and you'd get the same. Great to have tried and visited but not rushing back as... More

Ladies night out; my sister, our mother and myself. None of us had ever been here before and went on a friend’s recommendation. We loved it. It has a very cosy atmosphere and even though it was packed it didn't seem too noisy. I like the décor and they have a heavy curtain stopping the draft from the door as... More

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend, and with good reason, as the food was really delicious. Excellent menu, and nice atmosphere. However, the service started off being super attentive, almost over-attentive (e.g. asked 3 times in first 5 minutes if we were ready to order), and then slackened off considerably to the point that getting the bill and... One of my favourite restaurants that's in danger of changing something that's not broken. I've been here about 12 times in the last 2 years and have always enjoyed it. My latest visit was ok but not to the previous standards because of what appear to be unnecessary changes. The usually excellent rump steak is now extremely thin - it... More

Delicious food and drinks, great selection, reasonable prices. Try the norwegian eggs - the potato rosti is perfect. The service was fast and the portions huge, just the extra bacon on the side was about 10 pieces! Would definitely recommend and go back anytime!

Small, lively Restaurant with excellently prepared food at reasonable prices. The Menu is not large but the quality was in evidence at all three courses. The steaks were excellent, the crowd noisy and lively.; Don't go here for a formal sedate night !. However, if you like good food excellently prepared, served by friendly informative staff, this is the place.... More

Our hotel recommended Whitefriar and made reservations for us, on a busy Friday night. The place is small, and rocking! Very full, mainly locals, tables close together, noisy, but with a warm and very friendly feel to it. The proprietor and wait staff were unfailingly polite and cheerful, despite being very busy! The food was excellent- ample quantities and nicely... More
