Excellent food

My partner took me here for my birthday and I had such a lovely time. We had the 3 course early bird and each course was delicious especially dessert and the serving portions were perfect. Highly recommend

We went for brunch with 8 friends and had a great time! Decoration is elaborated and well-thought. Staff was very friendly and patient. Quality of the food was very good. Not many options if you are a no-meat/no-fish veggie, but chef is still trying to make your belly happy. I was craving for gambas, and I absolutely loved the mix... More

After my millionth time to the Whitefriar Grill I thought it was time to write a review. I have been here for brunch, lunch and dinner and I love them all. Brunch is delish - BIG fan of the breakfast and the Chicken Parmigiana Lunch was fab and dinner was just as good. For anyone who hasn't tried it....you really... More

My friend and I had a lovely early dinner on a Thursday in late Jan. The staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. I'm not usually a dessert person but the choice was varied and I highly recommend the fondue or the brownie!

Relaxed, no nosense good food with friendly staff and a cosey intimate feel. A great bar next door (bow lane) is a nice way to begin/end the meal. The standout dish is the t-bone. As expertly cooked as it was enormous - so refreshing to see a restaurant not scrimp and save on a dish like this. Well worth a... More

Where to begin. Everything was incredible from start to finish. My second time here for dinner and we got the early bird. Such good value, good size portions and brilliant variety. Nice buzz about the place staff were excellent. Friendly, not too in your face but always around should you need them. Will definitely be back

The Whitefriar Grill – what can I say? Seldom have I had such an enjoyable experience from start-to-finish. In the mood for a fun night out, my partner and I were greeted by a lovely waiter who proceeded to hand us a light Prosecco tipple while they prepared a table. Jam-packed with an air of bustling energy, I was excited.... More

I booked to visit for brunch on a Saturday as I have received great reviews. I was advised on booking that I could have table from 12:30 - 14:00. The service was very attentive and friendly. The menu is quite limited for brunch, especially if you aren't a big egg person. Most of the brunch menu is made up of... More

Whitefriar Grill has a fantastic atmosphere and each and every dish on the menu is well thought out to please everyone's preferences. The service is efficient and insightful. There is a slight focus on meat eaters but their fish dishes are equally tasty. The rump and rack or rump and prawns (surf and turf) are worth a special mention especially... More
