The restaurant talks itself up big time and it didn't really stand up. Had the ribs and rump and the lady had crab cakes with poached eggs. Steak was miles overcooked. The ribs were cooked well but the BBQ sauce tasted more like a quirky ketchup from M&S than a BBQ sauce. The crab cakes looked pitiful to be honest.... More

This was our second visit to WFG, last time we had dinner. This time it was all about the brunch! I like the set up in WFG – it’s relaxing and the atmosphere is cosy. I had the crabcakes benedict and himself had the big breakfast – we both really enjoyed although his toast was a bit overdone and just... More

I had high expectations for this restaurant and we went here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. I'm very lucky in Dublin with most restaurants now catering for coeliacs but I was surprised that they didn't even stock GF bread. I was told they would make the pull pork GF but it was just pulled pork in a bowl that... More

We found out about this restaurant online and decided to go there on our last night in Dublin. What a great choice! We ordered the chicken wings for an app and they were finger licking good. For entrees we order a filet (fries, arugula salad, and a mushroom tart that blew my mind - sides), a strip with gambas-garlic prawns... More

We had heard about Whitefriar and booked in for Brunch when we visited Dublin. It was fantastic, great food, big portions, very reasonable and lots of interesting drinks. The staff are great, just make sure you book, there was a line out the door and the phone did not stop ringing while we were there! We'll be back on our... More

I came here for brunch last week and it lived up to if not exceeded my expectations. Food was delicious and not too pricey and the service was excellent. All the staff are very friendly and overall had a great day. Will definately be back to try their dinner menu.

I visited the whitefriar grill for the early bird menu. It is a busy spot you would need to book a table. Staff were professional and friendly. Food was excellent value the quinoa salad with courgette fritters my favourite!

booked this after reading reviews onTA. Not disappointed. Small intimate bistro type restaurant. Great staff and service. Had the best rump steak I have ver had on the two course dinner menu. How they did it goodness knows. Thoroughly recommend this place as it does what is says.
