A waitress was stood on the street outside this restaurant with menus. The menu was small but reasonably prices, especially for dublin! She asked us what size table we wanted and showed us into the restaurant. The restaurant is very dated and cramped. There were no tables free when we entered the restaurant but there was no bar or waiting... More

Stay clear of this place. Don't really see how they can say they're an Italian Restaurant! The food is terrible and the service is also. The waitresses and waiters did not understand simple requests such as 'can we have some cutlery?'. The meals that arrived did not match the description on the menu. waste of money.

Was in Dublin yesterday having hospital procedure and afterwards was looking for something simple like soup and sandwich,as I was walking through temple bar my wife and I came across la gondola,we thought that it might not be suitable as we were not looking for something substantial as I wasn't feeling that well. The manager beckoned us in and told... More

The foodds is unbelievably bad. And the service even worse. We paid our bill...but NEVER got our card back. The gentlemen said it was denied and he had to cut it. So, I say I don't think so and call my bank. The card has been ran for 3 times the amount. I leave and tell the bank what happend.... More

This place is as fake Italian as you can get. The service is horrid. And when I complained they refused to remake and I refused to pay for food I didn't eat because it was so bad on the first bite..they called they police. The staff there are rude. But more over the food is just not worth it. The... More

Typical fake italian restaurant, trap for tourist that thinks that with an italian name the restaurant makes italian food, is not like that. Is not real italian, the only good thing of this place are the waitress that are really friendly with customers. A real italian restaurant has not Cesars salad and pizza Mexicana with Jalapeños on the menu and... More

Is it true this little gem of a restaurant is now closed in temple bar? This was one of my favourites.

Visited this restaurant and paid 15 euros for some spaghetti in tomato sauce. Asked for some Bacon, didnt get any. Was expensive and plain. Also was charged 3 euros for a can of coke. I know Dublin is expensive but will not be paying these types of prices again.
