We found this little restaurant after wandering round the noisy Temple Bar and not liking the look of anywhere and we really please with our choice. We had a couple of starters and two different chicken main courses and enjoyed our food. My husband was a bit disappointed there wasn't any Guiness on offer and just 2 choices of larger... More

We would not recomend this restaurant it's over priced and poor quality. The staff were friendly but this did not make up for the poor food. Our group ordered a variety of pizzas and pastas everything was bland completely tasteless. The garlic bread was basically cheese on toast, the fresh basil on the pizza was pesto, and the £23 bottle... More

Maybe we just visited on an off day or something but after our experience at this restaurant I couldn't possibly recommend it to anybody. For starters, our server couldn't have possibly been less interested in her job and came off as rude and condescending. My girlfriend asked a question about one of the items on the menu and I visibly... More

We tried to get into many other places that were super busy and loud, this restaurant had many customers, but was quiet too. The service was friendly and our meals came out quickly, which were delicious. We'd eat here again.

I don't see how so many people complain about this restaurant when it's fantastic! The staff are friendly, the food is delicious and quick, and the seating was quirky and interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will be back!

Fantastic food and good service, could do with freshening up and it doesn't need the flat screen telly as the food does the talking, we would eat there again in a heartbeat!

My son and I went after a major rugby match. The place was almost full. They fitted us in and the service and food was excellent. My son left his favourite hat alas. However he went back a couple of days later and there it was. They remembered him.. How good was that! Go

A waitress was stood on the street outside this restaurant with menus. The menu was small but reasonably prices, especially for dublin! She asked us what size table we wanted and showed us into the restaurant. The restaurant is very dated and cramped. There were no tables free when we entered the restaurant but there was no bar or waiting... More

Stay clear of this place. Don't really see how they can say they're an Italian Restaurant! The food is terrible and the service is also. The waitresses and waiters did not understand simple requests such as 'can we have some cutlery?'. The meals that arrived did not match the description on the menu. waste of money.

Was in Dublin yesterday having hospital procedure and afterwards was looking for something simple like soup and sandwich,as I was walking through temple bar my wife and I came across la gondola,we thought that it might not be suitable as we were not looking for something substantial as I wasn't feeling that well. The manager beckoned us in and told... More
