Had a fabulous meal tonight, great choice of menu & catered well for coeliacs. Two young staff members were very friendly, cheerful and helpful. However, we very taken aback by the treatment received from a female member of staff who we feel may have been the manager. She spoke in a condescending and patronising manner. We were very disappointed as... More

We lucked out choosing this for our first night in Dublin. Wonderful seafood and lovely chatty service. Everything we were given to eat and drink was truly great. Lovely interior. As lots of places in Ireland, the frontage is not representative. Inside is huge and beautiful. Open plan and glamorous. Ideal for a special occasion or just a weekday treat.... More

I visited matt the threshers with two of my friends from college whom I only see annually. While we were given menus promptly we had to wait at least 20 minutes for someone to take our drinks / food order. When someone finally arrived to take our order (after much flagging) we were greeted with 'three fish and chips I... More

A great find on a Sunday afternoon. Our waiter was helpful and led us to a wonderful meal. I had the fish burger and my wife had the hake- and both were delicious.

The atmosphere was sophisticated but the people were welcoming and fun! The food was delicious and upscale yet still welcoming to our children. We really enjoyed our meal there. The bartenders especially knew their whiskey!

Best seafood in Dublin. It is fresh, brought in daily, so go early to make sure you can get what you want. I had the oysters (sublime) and shellfish pot and my husband had the flounder. The wine list is very good and the service was excellent! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant!

Been for lunch several times, though quiet at the moment best to make a reservation. Great light business lunch location, and excellent for fish. staff open and chatty clearly well trained into a particular ethos !
