Great restaurant

Really enjoyed my recent visit food great atmosphere waiters only fault was that there was no offer to take our coats and we were a party of 10. No option but to leave them on the chair at a spare table then suddenly our coats were taken.. Not impressed!

I had a very enjoyable evening with a colleague in this lovely restaurant. The food was very tasty and was complemented by fine service by the restaurant & bar staff. John behind the bar was very professional and mindful. A good night out will be had.

Couldn't recommend MTT enough. Staff are so friendly and professional, Whether it's dinner with clients or a few glasses of wine sitting at their beautiful bar with friends, it never disappoints. Best crab claws in Dublin!

I've been to Matt the Thresher on a number of occasions. Most of the visits have been with a friend for lunch and I've not had any issues as the staff and kitchen seem to have no difficulty in coping with tables of two. However, on my last two visits, I've been with a fairly big group (10 to 12)... More

This is a busy restaurant with good food. Service can be a bit slow but well worth the wait when the food finally arrives. Nice atmosphere and a good location.

What was planned a great evening before the irish Wales match with some close friends turned out a disaster. The few beers at the bar were great and fantastic atmosphere but that is where it ended. Starters arrived and were ok but then we waited 45 min and waiter said sorry for delay but meals were being " plated" and... More

Visited this restaurant last weekend and it lived up to all the great reviews I had read on trip adviser. The staff, location, building, food and wine were all top drawer and we had a most enjoyable visit. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Dublin and looking for a top class restaurant that specialises in seafood.

Higher recommendable to lovers of seafood. The place is beautiful and picturesque, staff really nice and professional especially Luca! Ordered platter of seafood with delicious oyster. We'll definitely come back as soon as possible.

Had booked for a group of 17 for 8pm last Saturday night. On checking in table not ready on arrival and then just left standing around-communication brutal and when I queried further was told that people at our table had been given to 7.30 to get out-the Manager was really rude. Eventually we got seated at 8.30pm our order was... More
