Great fish dishes and a great venue!

Food was very high quality and the atmosphere fun and lively. Service was generally good except for having to wait 30 mins for our table despite turning up on time. I know it is impossible to predict when earlier patrons will vacate their table, but why not turn a problem into an opportunity to... read more

Revisited this restaurant on a trip to Dublin. Booked two nights, and both nights different. 1st Night (a Friday) was Busy Busy Busy. 2nd Night (a Sunday) was steady and relaxed. The Service on both nights was excellent and the food was as expected.....delightful. As a Fish Restaurant I can't think of another place that can compete, every dish was... More

Booked table on line for pre theatre dinner for 6.30. On arrival Thursday 19th Feb no record of booking however got table for two. Maitre d a little bruske. The space is very attractive with an open fire in entrance area. Shown to table for 2. There are iron crossbars under table so you can't really move once your sitting... More

Excellent restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. The building is lovely inside with fresh flowers and candles on the tables. There is also a grand piano, which the waiter informed us is no longer in use. Such a shame as a pianist would have made the experience even more spectacular. We had mackerel pâté and fish cakes to start,... More

Really high quality fish restaurant. I don't like fish but went for a meal in a group. Had Hake with Chilli Butter, and it was amazing. The atmosphere was great, the service was good, the food was of a very high quality. Lunch sitting, plan for around €35.00 per head for three courses and soft drinks.

Visited here on a Friday evening, it was very very busy and the atmosphere was great, we went to the bar area for a drink before heading to our table, the staff were very friendly and very capable at their jobs. On the food side of things the menu read well, and there was a few specials on the board.... More

This was my first visit to this restaurant last week. It was Friday evening and first impressions were that it was quite noisy especially at the bar, but the crowd cleared away fairly early and did not disturb our night. I was shown to our table straight away which was lovely, there were 5 of us and we had a... More
