Came here on a work night out almost a year ago, very nice decor inside this pub but I won't be coming back for that alone! I ordered a burger which came with chips. On cutting into the burger, the inside was pink and very undercooked, although it looked cooked on the outside. There was no way in hell I... More

Visited with some friends before a rugby match. Good service with a very good waiter. He was helped by some less experienced staff who were out of their depth. We told him that we were in a big of a hurry to make the kick off and as a result, we were not left waiting. Fish is king here and... More

Went there with friends on a buzzy Friday evening. It's a beautiful light elegant room. For starter we had fish cakes which had soft cooked poached egg and hollandaise sauce which were nice accompaniments. Also the mussels which were juocy and tasty. My friends had fish burger and fish and chips all very tasty. I had hake special with chilli... More

Went there with several friends last week and had a delightful meal. Our server, Dave was attentive and knowledgeable and made several good recommendations. My wife and I both had the Plaice special and it was delicious .. perfectly done. This was probably the best meal we had in our short trip to Dublin.

Loved it! Had lunch there last Saturday - special of Ling served on red (tomato) risotto. Extremely tasty, great service, beautiful venue. Would definitely recommend and look forward to a return visit.

Last Saturday we had a great dinner here. We shared a starter (one of the specials with monkfish) and both had a main dish (husband a bowl with mussels, shrimp, etc) and I had the ovendish with potato and fish. It was all very well. Our waiter was quick and attentive. We really liked the atmosphere in this beautiful restaurant.

Loved it last year but was there a month ago and not really up to standard. Had the famous fish platter which tasted as if the fish prawns were frozen and just defrosted. Garnish on the plate was a limp lettuce and no dressing. The place seemed a bit chaotic and it was lunch time only. Would not rush back.... More
