This restaurant is beautifully laid out and even when it's full patrons are not sitting on top of each other which makes it very comfortable and quite private!

Good restaurant. Not the cheapest, but nice place for a romantic meal. Books out, so best to make a reservation. Seafood is quite lovely (non-seafood really isn't worth it). Handy location as well.

Prawns were flaky instead of firm, pancetta thick and tough, flavours not always working together. No doubt other diners have had more positive experience, I'm just sorry that... More

The restaurant is well placed in the city centre. It is very well decorated and has a great light atmosphere. The service was excellent and the staff were very engaging and friendly. As far... More

Matt's was recommended by our hotel and we ended up eating there twice while in Dublin. The first night, a Saturday, the place was packed so we took a seat at the bar and had wonderful Beef and Beer Pie and Fish and Chips. authentic and delicious! The barman was friendly and the service quick yet not rushed. The second... More

i took my daughter to dinner on a Thursday night and somewhat to my surprise the place was not busy. We were greeted by a man sweeping the floors - rather odd - but a couple of minutes later the proper greeter arrived and found us a nice table. we chose to go with the specials - Monkfish with a... I've been a regular for the better part of two years and all I can say is, go once and you'll keep going back. Amazing staff, decor and even better food. P.S.: the mussels and the monkfish are to die for. Enjoy
