Beautiful seafood - well worth a trip if you are in Dublin. Great setting as well with multi-tiered seating and pianist playing throughout the evening.

Visited here with girl friends and was very pleased with the experience. The staff, from the off, were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu and the Day's Specials. We remarked on a flavour in a sauce and couldn't quite pinpoint the taste and our waitress returned to our table having found out the ingredients from the chef - that's... More

I was treated to lunch here yesterday and from my first impression looking on the outside in it looked a bit touristy, what with the tri colour/American flag outside but it wasn't my choice so I went with the flow. It looked pretty cool on the inside with a lot of different styles going on. I ordered the tian of... More

We were treated to a world class experience from the moment we walked in the door. The staff, especially those from Tullamore were extremely professional and attentive. Will definitely be back again.

Luckily, we arrived at lunch time before reservations were needed. The mix of modern and vintage décor was inviting, and provided a soothing ambiance for weary travelers. The appetizer was a delectable surprise, but the main course meals of fish and Guinness pies were the most delicious of all. Our server was very attentive, and this was such a great... More

This is a very attractive restaurant/bar in one of Dublin's nicer central areas. It's very easy on the eye and the charming, efficient staff help to create a lovely atmosphere. Seafood is the speciality and our waiter was very well informed to advise on the menu and the specials. The food is very good and the entire experience so pleasing... More

This was one of the best meals I've ever had; certainly the best I've had in Ireland. It can be pricey, but a pint of Guinness and some mussels make for an inexpensive and satisfying lunch. Highly recommended

First time in Dublin, we were looking for somewhere with an amazing seafood menu but that had a more restaurant than pub feel. Booked Matt The Thresher just from the look of it on the website and we don't think we could have made a better choice. The menu was impressive and even more so was the specials board with... More
