Hidden gem!

We were running out of options for a quick lunch before the Ireland match and accidentally stumbled upon Paulie's. Pizzas and salads of the highest quality made quickly with great ingredients. Service not exactly friendly but it's Ireland not America!

Sitting cheek by jowl in this small trattoria lends to the slightly chaotic vibe, how the staff serve is impressive given the tiny space but by how they serve, they are excellent, attentive, cool looking, relaxed and plentiful, the bar is well stocked, but it is the pizza that brings in the punters. If i was served pizza like that... More

Went to Paulie's on Tuesday evening, great buzz around. Pizza was excellent, cooked in a wood fired oven, ingredients used were so full of flavour. Would definitely return, book ahead as restaurant is very busy. Staff were great, loved everything about the place.

I have been here a few times but on the last visit I was a little disappointed and I think it might have become very a victim of its own success. We were told we could have a table but would have to give it back within an hour, That was okay bit I did feel the service was rushed... More

Really good pizza parlour near Bath Avenue and Sth Lotts Road.. One of many places to eat in the great area of Ballsbridge. Pizzas are amazing, good service and atmosphere. There is a place to eat nearby called Juniors and they seem to share staff or have a commencer between both .... As I said good food, service and atmosphere.... More

Our group of seven had a wonderful experience at Paulie's. We ordered pizzas as well as other items off the menu and everything was fantastic! We were headed to the theatre after and they were great about promptly taking our order and serving everything with enough time to get us to our play. It's a very friendly place and we... More

Great pizza, great service and cool location. I'm Italian and I definitely recommend this place. One of the very few authentic quality Italian restaurants.

We visited the place on a July evening and understandably the place was very busy. In fairness, it always looks busy, so we were eager to try it out. (Hubby loves his traditional woodfire baked pizza and claims to be an expert!) When we arrived, we were seated within a couple of minutes and were given menus; the table was... More
