We called here when we "walked up" on our way to Lansdowne Road (it will never be the Aviva to real rugby people!) at lunchtime. We were seated quickly and the service was top class. The mains were really good but what "sealed the deal" for me was the warm Guinness sticky pudding!! A bit "quirky" but we really enjoyed... More

We dropped in on a Friday evening and were seated quickly. Our drink and food order was taken straight away. We both ordered medium sirloin steaks, but when the food arrived after about 15 minutes, one of the steaks was mostly well done. Otherwise the food was tasty and the staff friendly and polite.

Have been a few times over the years, food is always lovely, no worries there. However, the level of service currently being offered at The Kitchen leaves a lot to be desired. Sat down, no drinks offered. 10/15 minutes after arrival we got to order food and drinks. The restaurant was not crazy busy but trying to get the attention... More

I wasn't expecting too much from this restaurant, I'm not sure why not maybe the location or the standard of the nearby restaurants but it delivered a nice surprise. The calamari starter was excellent as was the monkfish special (if a little small), even the chips were very good. There's more things on the menu that I was tempted by... More

We waited for 15 minutes for a menu and then another 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. When we asked to place our food order too, the waiter said 'No, there is a big party upstairs and the kitchen isn't ready'. We ordered our drinks - an expensive glass of wine and sparkling water. The water came... More

We happened on The Kitchen while wandering around the Grafton Street area, and we decided to try it for lunch. My girlfriend and I shared a soup and sandwich. Both were very good, and we decided to return for lunch on the final day of our trip. This time I had the seafood chowder with mussels and cockles, and my... More

Stumbled across this restaurant in Central Dublin - just off Grafton Street. Great food and great staff.

During a recent getaway to Dublin with my nieces we searched out a place for dinner and found Kitchen. A simple looking place with great food! We opted for the BBQ beef ribs (fall off the bone tender in a great hoisin sauce) and spicy chicken wings (not too spicy) for our apps, I had the red curry coconut chicken... More

The little hidden gem was perfect for our final evening in Dublin. The service was just right and the food was outstanding. We were a little concerned with only one other table occupied, but it was only that, a concern. This is a perfect restaurant for a couple who want a quite evening together. Enjoy!

I have popped into The Kitchen on occasion to have their chicken wings or calamari and a glass of wine after work. However a group of us decided to have a lunch there a few days ago and it was perfect. There is a lot to choose from on the menu so there really is something for everyone. We went... More
