We stopped here for a drink on a day trip to Dublin, the service was excellent from Shaun the waiter, we were made to feel really welcome and sat outside under the heaters, after a few glasses of very good wine we sampled the lunch menu, good selection of food well presented, and extras added by request. Try the red... More

We ate here last night by chance as our original choice was full. This was a great little place, full of charm and atmosphere. We sat outside under the awning and heaters and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly- even making us a mulled wine which was not on the menu. The food was delicious - three different... More

Ate at The Kitchen last Thursday and had a very positive experience. The waiters were attentive and friendly, the price was great (we got the early bird, even though it was 7:30PM) and the food was good. The only minor point was the selection of wines. The list is very limited and nothing really stood out. However, this is really... More

We had a 3 course dinner at The Kitchen and it was simply amazing. Steak, lamb, was cooked beautifully with interesting flavors. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I just cannot fault this place!

We called here when we "walked up" on our way to Lansdowne Road (it will never be the Aviva to real rugby people!) at lunchtime. We were seated quickly and the service was top class. The mains were really good but what "sealed the deal" for me was the warm Guinness sticky pudding!! A bit "quirky" but we really enjoyed... More

We dropped in on a Friday evening and were seated quickly. Our drink and food order was taken straight away. We both ordered medium sirloin steaks, but when the food arrived after about 15 minutes, one of the steaks was mostly well done. Otherwise the food was tasty and the staff friendly and polite.

Have been a few times over the years, food is always lovely, no worries there. However, the level of service currently being offered at The Kitchen leaves a lot to be desired. Sat down, no drinks offered. 10/15 minutes after arrival we got to order food and drinks. The restaurant was not crazy busy but trying to get the attention... More

I wasn't expecting too much from this restaurant, I'm not sure why not maybe the location or the standard of the nearby restaurants but it delivered a nice surprise. The calamari starter was excellent as was the monkfish special (if a little small), even the chips were very good. There's more things on the menu that I was tempted by... More

We waited for 15 minutes for a menu and then another 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. When we asked to place our food order too, the waiter said 'No, there is a big party upstairs and the kitchen isn't ready'. We ordered our drinks - an expensive glass of wine and sparkling water. The water came... More

We happened on The Kitchen while wandering around the Grafton Street area, and we decided to try it for lunch. My girlfriend and I shared a soup and sandwich. Both were very good, and we decided to return for lunch on the final day of our trip. This time I had the seafood chowder with mussels and cockles, and my... More
